Make plans to check out this very large 1-day no-reserve auction that is being held for the late Janet H. Nicholas, Carthage, IL and others. The late Ms. Nicholas was a well known local Carthage, IL librarian for many, many years. The items from her home have been transported to Sullivan Auctioneers, Carthage, IL facility, which is located at 1204 Buchanan Street. The antiques and collectibles represent several generations of the Hill family. All items were transported from the William Kuhns Hill circa 1890 Carthage, IL home. Mr. Hill was a respected educator & administrator at the former Carthage College. The late Ms. Nicholas was a granddaughter. All items are in original dark finish. Nothing has been touched for years and no items have been refinished. Everything sells and nothing is being held back.
