Receiver manufactured 1888, subsequently engraved with floral scroll and game scenes including deer, bison, bear, and cougar, and an inlaid silver bear on the right of the stock. Rear sight absent, wood checkered in deluxe style.

Very good as upgraded and engraved, retains much of the blue and gold finishes, some scattered light spotting/oxidation, and some scattered minor handling marks on the wood.

Good, with mostly dark grey-brown patina on the iron and some light pitting, attractively aged patina on the brass, and some scattered minor handling marks on the refinished wood which has some filler at the front of the forend. Mechanically fine.

Antique Special Order Winchester Deluxe Model 1886 Rifle

Antique Special Order Winchester Deluxe Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle with Factory Letter

Manufactured in 1888. Lyman blade front sight, "1886" marked folding ladder rear sight, folding tang peep sight, and British proofs. Blued barrel and magazine tube, casehardened frame, lever, and hammer, and replated, replaced nickel plated forend cap and crescent buttplate. Left side of lower tang marked "295" and "XXX." Stock and buttplate are replacements and lack an assembly number. The factory letter states the rifle was received in the warehouse on January 26,1888 and shipped the same day with an octagon barrel in .45-70 cailber, plain trigger, checkered pistol grip stock, and nickel plated receiver.

Fine with original blue finish on barrel and magazine tube, refinished casehardened receiver, most of the replated nickel remaining, light spotting, refinished, replacement wood with some handling marks and overall crisp re-cut checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1920. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms lists this carbine as being removed from the purview of the National Firearms Act and classified as a curio and relic.

Manufactured in 1919. Matching assembly number "118" marked on left side of lower tang, stock inlet, and buttplate. Noted Winchester historian and author George Madis examined this carbine and recorded his observations in the included letter and determined that the carbine was "all original as made by Winchester".

Manufactured 1896. Approximately 5,000 were manufactured with flat sided receivers. The included factory letter confirms the caliber and notes "To Russ" along with a warehouse receipt date of 22 December 1896, 10 March 1897 which is noted as being in the left margin, and a shipment date of 11 March 1897.

Good, with faint traces of original finish, minor vise marks on barrel at breech, a few patches of light pitting, and a minor crack, chips, and handling marks in the wood. Mechanically excellent.

101 Ranch Engraved/Inscribed Colt Single Action Army Revolver

Engraved Silver Plated Black Powder Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Relief Steer Head Carved Grip Inscribed to 101 Ranch Elephant Trainer

Manufactured in 1883 and subsequently custom engraved and inscribed. Back strap shoulder inscribed "101" in reference to the famed 101 Ranch and down the back strap is inscribed with the name "Zelma Zimmerman." Zimmerman trained and performed with elephants used in the 101 Ranch's Wild West show. As explained in a 1930 newspaper article, "Until six years ago, comely Zelma did not know much about elephants except what she had seen in the zoos, but when she came out to Oklahoma to take a job in the cafe on the Miller Bros.' 101 Ranch, she fell in love with the elephants then wintering on the ranch and it did not take much persuasion to get Zelma to try her luck with the 'bulls.' Now she is their acknowledge 'boss' and for no one the elephants will do better and faster work than for Zelma." The right side of the grip has a relief carved steer head.

Class: Antique

Fine as period embellished with some scattered pitting and crisp engraving and carving. Mechanically needs adjustment, as it slightly out of time. An unusual piece of 101 Ranch history!

Manufactured in 1876. Both revolvers have "LUCKY CARSON" inscribed on the backstraps. Lucky Carson reportedly was a vaudville performer and stuntman in the late 1930s.
