Join us at the Kruger St. Museum for the annual Custom Mego Auction
MegoMeet is a chance for the Mego toy collectors community, (people interested in the great things put out by the toy company Mego) to get together in person to trade and buy parts and action figures, sit in on sessions designed to educate and answer questions about Mego Corporation and the Toys they made, but more than anything a chance to hook up with friends and fellow collectors live and in person, instead of over the internet.
The 2011 MegoMeet will once again be at The Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum in Wheeling, West Virginia, dates for 2011 are June 10 & 11.
This is event is not held to make a profit, the event organizers don't make a dime. Registration fees go to the Kruger Street Toy and Train Museum to cover the costs incurred for hosting this event.

Lot # 1 (Sale Order: 2 of 14)
Welcome to TheBigToyAuction
The Live Auction Event begins Sat, June 11 at 3:00 PM EDT. Feel free to browse our catalog, Preview lots, and leave Pre-Bids!
All Items are sold As Is and all sales are final. Please be sure to inspect all merchandise and ask any questions in advance. Once the sale begins, our Staff may be unable to answer questions.
Following the Sale, we will send an invoice through Proxibid. All buyers will be charged a %15 buyer's premium (%10 for items won on-site) as well as sales tax, where applicable. We will package and weigh all winning items and invoice buyers separately for shipping costs. Once both invoices are paid in full, we will ship out your items via insured USPS Priority Mail. All lot descriptions have mailing Shipping Weight and Shipping Dimensions listed for you to estimate shipping costs in advance. Please keep this in mind before bidding.
We will be using different Auction techniques throughout the course of the sale. For those new to Live Auctions, we will be using a combination of Traditional Auction Lots, and Choice Auctions with Privelege. For those unfamiliar with live auctions, these work like this:
1) in regular traditional auction lots, we will offer each lot separately, and accept successive competitive bids until, in the Auctioneer's opinion, all bidding has been exhausted. At hammer's fall, or statement of "sold," the item will be considered sold to the Highest Bidder.
2) In Choice Lots with Privelege, multiple lots will be offered at the same time. Successive competitive bids will be heard until, in the Auctioneer's opinion, all bidding has been exhausted. At hammer's fall, or statement of "sold," the Highest Bidder will have the privelege of choosing from one or all lots available at that time. The winning bid price will then be multiplied by the number of lots chosen.
Thanks for joining us, and we hope you have a great time!
