Navajo Silver Etched Concho Belt

This is a han etched and tooled silver concho belt from a Navajo Native American Indian silversmith. The piece shows a tooled and hand etched design across each piece. The belt consist of seven oval, square and cross shaped conchos with a round concho belt buckle. The mid century piece is not marked. The belt is on a black leather belt and appears to be in good condition with some wear. The buckle is 3" in diameter. Belt is 42.5"L.

Navajo Sterling Silver Cocho Belt by Elmer Kee

The lot features an original sterling silver worked concho belt by Navajo Native American Indian silversmith, Elmer Kee. The old pawn silver piece shows ten conchos and one buckle concho all having a etched traditional geometric Navajo design. The piece is from the mid to early 20th century and shows overall good condition. The piece is on a black leather belt and is signed, "EK STERLING". The conchos are made with a heavy sterling silver construction. Each concho is 1.5"x1 7/8". Belt is 37.5"L.

This is an original hand crafted Boker of Solingen, Germany Applegate-Fairbairn Smatchet Knife. The double blade edge combat commando knife is in good condition and comes with a Cordura tactical sheath. Hand etch signed on the blade by the famous makers, "Rex Applegate" and "W.E Fairbairn." The piece is made with a 440C Stainless Steel blade with brass hilt or hand guard and delrin handle. The knife measures 9" L with a 4 7/8"L blade.

The piece shows a hand carved face pipe with the front having the eyes, nose, and mouth and the top bowl being framed with the figures hair. The piece is from 600-1500 A.D. and comes with the Certificate of Authenticity from Bannerstone Tom. Comes from a Coastal Washington collection. Measures 2"H x 1.75"W x 1 7/8"D. The bowl opening is 5/8" in diameter.

Pre-Columbian Aztec Coatlicue Pipe circa 1454-1457

This is an original Pre-Columbian Aztec ceremonial pipe. The piece was recovered from the Tlatelolco site in the Valley of Mexico and dates to circa 1454-1457. The piece shows the figure of the fertility goddess, Coatlicue or "Serpent-Skirt". This is an excellent example of early Aztec authentic history. Tlateloco is known for its violent history, as it was the scene of the last stand of the Aztec in their war against the Spanish Conquistadors (40,000 Aztec men, woman, and children were said to have been slaughtered on one day). Measures 3 5/8"L x 2.25"W x 2.25"H.
