Vintage Clyde Beatty and Cole Bros. Circus Poster

This eye-catching poster advertises the Clyde Beatty and Cole Bros. Circus as the "World's Largest."  It is not dated but was printed by Globe Poster Corp. of Chicago, Illinois.  It measures approximately 21" x 28" and will be shipped rolled to save on postage.   It is in very good condition for its age and will look even better framed.  Great, colorful decor for a child's room!

Souvenir Compact From the 1939 Golden Gate Expo

This solid brass ladies' compact is a lovely memento from the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition held in San Francisco.  It measures 2-1/8" square and features the Expo's logo on the front.  The powder and the puff are missing, but the rest is in excellent condition.

Vintage Disney's Mickey Mouse Slippers, Child's Size 11

Offered in this lot is a used pair of Mickey Mouse slippers in children's size 11.  The tags say, "Walt Disney Character House Shoes by Trimfoot...Made in U.S.A."  and "85% Wool 15% Cotton."  These slippers may be used, but they're still a lot of fun for children to wear.  And for Disney aficionados to collect!

NY World's Fair Poster Stamps, Photo Book, Food Booklet

Lot # 4 (Sale Order: 4 of 284)      

Offered in this lot are three souvenirs from the 1939 New York World's Fair, including an unopened envelope of 54 Poster Stamps with images of the fair.  Also in the lot is a beautiful 68-page paperback, "The World of Tomorrow," full of black-and-white photos; it is 6-3/4" x 9-3/4" and is in excellent++ condition (you won't find one nicer!).  Completing the lot is a 6" x 9" booklet with recipes, "Foods Made Famous at the World's Fair," by Julia Lee Wright.  All three items are in excellent condition.

Tin Fire Truck Friction Toy - Siren & Extending Ladder

Holy smokes!  Here's a delightfully fun friction toy that works great!  The tin litho MF 718 Fire Truck features a siren, bells and a ladder that extends.  It comes with its original "Voitur De Pompiers" box that measures approximately 11" x 4" x 3-1/2".  The bright red fire truck has been tested and functions nicely.  Both toy and box are in like-new condition.  It was made in China circa 1970s.

Royal Wettina Vase/Pitcher With Handle, Made in Austria

Lot # 6 (Sale Order: 6 of 284)      

This lovely vase, or pitcher, was found in an estate collection and is in wonderful used condition.  It is marked "Made in Austria - RH - Royal Wettina" under a crown symbol.  RH, we believe, stands for Robert Hanke.  It is approximately 13" tall; the base diameter is 6-1/2", and overall the piece is about 7-1/2" wide, spout to handle.  The bottom edge has a tiny paint flake which can easily be touched up with a Magic Marker.  A beautiful find!

Stemmed Agate Dart Point Found at Maybe Site in Oregon

Lot # 7 (Sale Order: 7 of 284)      

This two-toned stemmed agate dart point was found at the Maybe site on the Columbia River, near The Dalles, Oregon.  It is 2-1/2" long and came from the Frank Buehler collection.  Buehler, born in Oregon, was a collector of Native American artifacts and a founder of the Oregon Archaeological Society.

Six Vintage Celluloid Advertising Stick Pins

Lot # 8 (Sale Order: 8 of 284)      

Back in the good, ol' days, celluloid stick pins were a popular way to advertise.  This trend didn't last long, as the celluloid was very thin and would easily tear off the pin.  This collection of six survivors that are in excellent condition featured Swift's Chickens, Telephone, Santa, Atkins Saws, Cadet Stockings, and Star Brand Shoes.  They range in sizes from 1" x 3/8" to 1-1/2" x 3/4".  The case is included and makes for a nice way to display your stick pins.

Offered in this lot are five pocket knives that were part of the same estate:  (1 - top left) Imperial U.S.A., push down blade to open; (2-left) Novco U.S.A., celluloid handle, with case, 3 blades--looks like 2 have never been used, maybe all 3; (3 - top right) Imperial U.S.A. with pearl-like handle, 2 blades; (4 - middle right) no name, with celluloid handle, 2 blades; and (5 - bottom right) Schrade U.S.A. 340T called the "Old Timer," with 3 blades.  The knives are 3" to 3-1/2" long and are as found.

Vintage "Howdy" Orange Soda Bottle and Bottle Ad Topper

This lot consists of an unopened 6-1/2 fluid oz. bottle of "Howdy" Orange Soda and a cardboard advertising topper that invites you to "Reach for a bottle."  The bottle is embossed with the "Howdy" logo; the shelf life of the soda, no doubt, has expired.  The edge of the bottle cap reads, "PIONEER BOTT. WKS. - DAVENPORT, WASH."  The advertising sign measures 6-1/2" wide and 8" long when in use.  Both items are in excellent condition.

Roseville Pottery Magnolia Console Bowl

Lot # 12 (Sale Order: 12 of 284)      

Offered is this circa 1943 Roseville Magnolia double handled console bowl. The background color is terra cotta blended with green with two white flowers and black stems on either side. Size is 3" tall x 13-1/4" wide from handle to handle. On the bottom, in relief-raised lettering is "Roseville U.S.A. 449-10". This is in very good condition with little signs of wear and rings like a bell when tapped. There are no chips, cracks or repair of any kind.

1930s El Dallo Cigar Tri-Fold Poster - Never Folded

This 1930s die-cut, tri-fold poster advertises El Dallo Cigars, which cost just 5 cents back then.  The 20" x 13"  cardboard ad promotes the cigar's "Special Wrapping" that "Prevents Breaking" and "Insures Cleanliness."  The poster being offered has never been folded, but it does have a few dings and creases.  However, for the vintage tobacco advertising collector, this hard-to-find one is highly desirable.

Here are 2 vintage "Tall Comics All Picture Books".  The first is  Bugs Bunny by Leon Schlesinger from Loonie Tunes & Merrie Melodies animated movie cartoons published in 1943.  The second is Andy Panda by Walter Lantz also from Loonie Tunes & Merrie Melodies published in 1942 and both published by Whitman Publishing Co. and cost 15 cents new.  They measure 3-3/4" x 8-3/4" and are in excellent condition, they appear no never have been read.  Both worth collecting.

1935 Auburn 851 Sports Coupe From Wooden Art Collection

Offered is a vintage 1935 Auburn 851 SC replica from the Classic Car Wooden Art Collection.  The sticker on the bottom reads, "Made in Taiwan - A. America, Inc. - Seattle, WA."  The handsome wooden car is approximately 15" long, 5-1/4" wide and 4-5/8" high.  It has lots of cool detailing, including a hinged trunk lid.  It is in excellent condition, with minimal signs of use or wear.

This set of collectible spoons commemorates each of the famous Dionne Quintuplets born in 1934:  Yvonne, Annette, Cecile, Emilie and Marie.  Each spoon is wonderfully detailed with subtle differences in their faces and poses.  They are approximately 6" long and stamped "Carlton Silverplate."  They were a mail-in-coupon product of Quaker Oats circa 1935.  They are in very good condition and will look even better once polished.

Two-Hump Camel Tin Litho Toy - ME-842 Battery-Operated

What a charmer!  This battery-operated Camel (ME-842) is a tin litho toy made in China.  The two-humped creature walks, in several directions, while nodding its head.  We tested it, and it is in good working condition.  It comes with its original box that measures approximately 10" x 4" x 7-1/2".  Both box and toy are in like-new condition.  This vintage toy is hilarious to watch!

1950 Calendar From Speedway Bar in Butte, Montana

Offered is an unused 1950 calendar with artwork reminiscent of those adorable Coppertone ads we're all familiar with.  This one depicts a youngster at the beach, hanging up her bathing suit to dry.  We're not sure where the clothesline came from, but it surely was convenient.  This calendar, showing two months at a time, was given away to customers of the Speedway Bar in Butte, Montana.  It is 12" x19" and in excellent condition.

Hopi Snow Kachina Girl - 14" Tall

This Hopi Snow Kachina Girl doll is signed by artist Christino Panana and stands 14" tall, including the base.  The Snow Kachina is credited with bringing the cold and snows to the Hopi people; winter moisture is essential for the growth of their crops.  The carved figures are given as ceremonial gifts to young girls by the Katsinam.  This one is in excellent condition.
