"Marlborough" is one of Johnson Brothers most popular and most attractive of their patterns. A pretty floral arrangement is in the center with small floral groups between gold scroll like designs on the rim. The rim has a cream color background while the center is lighter. This platter is a size that would be nice with a holiday dinner for the stuffing, sweet potatoes, etc. Condition is very good. Colors bright.

This is a very nice piece of agate. Dark brown inclusions with a translucent background. The background has the color of moonstone. This easily illustrates the chalcedony & quartz base of agate. It is surrounded with a gold bezel with a scalloped edge - much the shape of a Phi Mu sorority pin. This pin was probably made by a craftsperson to use this lovely agate. Very faint saw marks around the edge are seen with the jeweler's loupe.The back safety clasp is probably not gold. It is 15/16" wide by 7/8" high. A lovely holiday gift at a reasonable price.

After 102 years, B & Gs "Seagull" pattern was discontinued (in 1997). This is a lovely bowl with a wide rim & details like small fish scale.. It is 9 3/4" diameter. This bowl is great for serving. At nearly 10" across & occasionally called the extra large soup bowl, it was sold originally as a serving dish. Condition is very good. The mark is of the early 20th Century. Note the spelling "Danmark". There is also an artists initial "K".

A portrait of a young Indian girl set on a beige backdrop. The original painting was on a very textured surface and the print caught all that detail beautifully. The child has deep brown eyes and rich black hair which is covered by a dark blue head covering and is smiling happily at the viewer. This stunning print is in very good condition and is placed in an ivory colored mat that flatters the colors of the print. The frame is slender and is a dark brown color trimmed with gold. The print measures 15.5” x 11..75” and is a total size of 24” x 19” including the frame.

This is a very attractive and well preserved print of an 18th century dragoon. The picture shows accuracy in the rendering and is full of little details. The border around the image adds a sense of depth and dignity to the picture. The print is 15.5” x 12.5” and is pleasingly framed in a gold wood frame that is lined with a slim black trim which is in very good condition, compliments the picture beautifully, and brings the entire size of the piece to 19.5” x 16.5”. The bottom of the print reads, “Standartentrager der Waldenburger Dragoner, Basel 1790.” This would make an excellent addition to any home, office, or library.
