2007 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06

Lot # 112

To highlight the new generation, the C6, produced from 2005-13, received a full facelift. Chevrolet reduced the exterior body overhangs for a noticeably overall reduction in outward dimension. The front headlights were also redone, deleting the traditional "pop-up" headlights, opting for a more modern look. For those looking for additional power, performance and track capability, Chevrolet offered customers the Z06 package. The Z06 achieves excellent power-to-weight ratio because of its lightweight yet strong aluminum frame, carbon-fiber front fenders and magnesium engine cradle, which contribute to its low 3,132-pound curb weight. Presented in black with a black interior and Competition Gray wheels, this 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has covered less than 1,650 miles since new. It's backed by a hand-built 7.0-liter, naturally aspirated LS7 that produces 505hp as you grab through the gears of its 6-speed manual transmission. This Z06 comes fully equipped with a heads-up display, push-button start, navigation, cruise control, rear luggage shade and parcel net, and the enhanced acoustic package. The Window Sticker, Build Sheet, owner's manual and instructional DVDs from new are included with the purchase. **PLEASE NOTE THIS LOT WILL NEED TO BE COLLECTED FROM SCOTTSDALE, AZ**

1978 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANS AM MECHAM MACHO COUPE

Lot # 115

This 1978 Pontiac Trans Am Mecham Macho coupe is powered by a date-code-correct L78 400ci 8-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission. The 1978 T/A retained the look of the 1977 and offered the W72 performance package upgrade with new engine option, and the WS6 option that improved the handling and braking to engines output. The history of the Macho Trans Am dates to 1977 when two brothers, Dennis and Kyle Mecham, began modifying cars to restore some of the lost performance brought about by the addition of more emissions equipment. The EPA stepped in because their modified cars did not meet federal emissions criteria for new cars. Performance upgrades were significant, increasing the acceleration and handling. Each car got a unique plaque identifying it as what number car it was. The Mecham Macho upgrades included a better intake manifold, performance distributor, upgraded carburetor, high-performance shocks and springs, and bigger snowflake rims and tires. Overall, it added more horsepower and significantly improved handling. Ordered with nearly every factory performance and comfort option. Equipped with factory air, power windows and locks, tilt and more. In early 2000, the exterior was professionally repainted in its correct color scheme. This vehicle is formerly out of Richard Rawlings' collection and was featured in an episode of his "Fast N' Loud" show. This car is mostly original and correct, with 34,000 actual miles (miles not indicated on the title). The car has documentation, including its original Build Sheet. It has the DKM certification with other historically important documents. **PLEASE NOTE THIS LOT WILL NEED TO BE COLLECTED FROM BRIDGEPORT, CT**

1990 CHEVROLET CORVETTE ZR1

Lot # 116

**THIS VEHICLE HAS NO RESERVE AND WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER**

Though the initial 4th-generation Corvette ZR1, released in 1984, handled nicely, it was underwhelming in the performance category, which began to impact sales. Understanding that performance was a necessity to compete in the marketplace, GM worked tirelessly to develop an in-house performance engine option of its own. Enter partner Lotus Group, acquired by GM in a 1985 deal. They began working in conjunction with Chevrolet to develop the aluminum-block 350ci V8. Dubbed the "King of the Hill," the highly anticipated all-new, high-performance Corvette made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1989. At the time, it was the highest-cost production car in the GM inventory. In 1990, GM built a mere 3,049 examples of the ZR1. This example, presented in red with a red interior, is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. Options include two tops and air conditioning, as well as power seats, windows and door locks. Showing just over 13,600 actual miles on the odometer, this Corvette is an extraordinary example of a milestone in Chevrolet performance history, making it an excellent addition to any collection. CARFAX shows General Motors safety recall on 10/01/1991: Safety belt retractors-left side; on 11/03/2007: mileage inconsistency. **PLEASE NOTE THIS LOT WILL NEED TO BE COLLECTED FROM SCOTTSDALE, AZ**

1965 SUNBEAM TIGER CONVERTIBLE

Lot # 120

Inspired by Carroll Shelby's success in shoehorning a Ford V8 into the AC Ace to create the Cobra, British carmaker Rootes asked Shelby to perform the same trick with its Sunbeam Alpine sports car. Ford's 260ci V8 engine was chosen, and backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Its power was nearly double the output of the contemporary Alpine's 1.6-liter engine. Assembled by Jensen Motors and introduced in 1964, the Tiger featured a stronger gearbox and rear axle plus rack & pinion steering. Enjoying the thrill of V8 speed and power with top-down convertible driving and remarkably smooth operation are but a few of the virtues of fine engineering and craftsmanship for which Sunbeam is renowned. An extensive, documented complete restoration with pictures - including chassis, body, paint, interior and engine rebuild - was completed on this Tiger in 2013 from a long-term (25-year) ownership. Finished in Silver Gray Metallic with Scarlet upholstery, all the brightwork, rubbers, seals and finishes are in excellent condition. As a member of the California Association of Tiger Owners (CAT), special care and attention to detail during the restoration was documented. Included is the Shop Notes manual, multiple binders (with a literal treasure trove of information), photos, receipts, spare parts and top boot in excellent condition. Hardtop (without windows) and its hardware come with the car. Freshening and miscellaneous paint repairs and mechanicals were completed in 2016, and since then the car has been in a collection with very few miles driven, other than an occasional car show. **PLEASE NOTE THIS LOT WILL NEED TO BE COLLECTED FROM SCOTTSDALE, AZ**
