1959 John Deere 430T Tractor
with three point hitch. This is an immaculate restoration in 2006 to New-In-Show-Room detail. This tractor has won parade honors.
The restoration was extensive and receipts are available.
There are approximately 75 hours on the engine rebuild by a previous owner. The compression is in-spec and cylinder balance is excellent. Valve clearances were in spec. All fluids were changed throughout.
Tractor was sold new in Dublin, Texas. Owner history and telephone numbers are known and available with permission of previous owners.
• The tin work was repainted by a professional. Chassis and wheels were repainted by current owner.
• The decals are correct for this model.
• The Duo-O-Matic hydraulic system was removed and a John Deere shop replaced all seals.
• The tires are 99%. The embossed tire size on the tread faces have not been worn off yet.
• The generator is new or is a recent rebuild. It has tight bushings and little wear on the brushes.
• The distributor was torn down and inspected. It has tight bushings and is like new condition.
• The spark/coil wires appear to have been recently replaced (probably with the rebuild).
• The starter is like new.
• The radiator was serviced (boiled out, flow tested and leak tested).
• The oil gage is an original electric gage. These cannot be repaired and there are no replacements. This gage works and it has been restored and calibrated.
• The tachometer/speedometer/hour gage is original and was restored.
• The carburetor was rebuilt.
• The tail light/work light is original bulb-style with a ruby lens for the tail light.
NEW IN 2006: spark plugs, coil, the radiator hoses and clamps, the radiator cap, the fan/generator belt, the tachometer cable, the ampere gage is new and correct for this model, the temperature gage, the muffler, the steering wheel, the seat, the wiring harness, the headlights (sealed beam as per original), the starter switch, the battery and cables and the voltage regulator.
