This Art Deco solid mahogany table, circa 1930, features two flaps along the length of the table. Folded up they form a unique stacked table surface above rectangular shaped legs. Height is 25.75" with flaps up and 24.75" with flaps down. Measures 27.5" long, 19" wide with flaps up and 27.5" wide with flaps down. Original brass hinges are recessed so the flaps lay flat upon the table top. Lovely finish is in good condition, with no gouges, dents or deep scratches.

Refinishing will certainly restore all the original beauty to this lovely table.

Included here is a matching set of four (4) vintage chrome wire dining chairs with their original brown leather upholstery, circa 1970, attributed to the Italian designer, Gastone Rinaldi (1920-). Overall condition is excellent. There is virtually no visible wear to the upholstery. These chairs are very comfortable, thanks to the flex of the wire frame and the soft, padded leather upholstery which connects to the frame via snaps in the rear. Each measures 31" high, 20" wide and has a seat height of 18" and seat depth of 17.5". These chairs reside on the upper west side of Manhattan ( New York city ) and may be seen by appointment.<

It depicts the Baths of Diocletian (Thermae Diocletiani) which were the grandest of the Roman public baths. Lower right reads A. GUILLAUMOT PERE SC. Below "VUEÂ…" it reads "Imp. Ch. Chardon" indicating the engraver, Charles Chardon who worked in the late 19th century in Paris. Below "RESTAURATIONÂ…" it reads Firmin-Didot & Cie. Editeurs. At the lower left it reads E. PAULIN DEL. Condition is excellent. Slight fold in center. Folio page mark in upper right corner, but the folio name and date is not known. Frame measures 2
