Manufactured circa 1880s. Two line company address and patent dates on top of the barrel. Matching serials on the cylinder and butt. Cylinder latch is a replacement. 3-1/4" barrel with half moon front sight and v-notch rear. Reapplied silver finish with the trigger, hammer, cylinder star, front sight and some screws being blued. Fine period added 95% coverage floral engraving with a punch dot background. Period mother of pearl grips as well. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its reapplied silver finish. Some tarnish/areas of dullness. Some pitting can be seen under the finish on the cylinder face and around the muzzle. Some of the screws appear to be replacements. Grips are excellent. Bore has a frosted surface. Some pitting. Good overall rifling. Hammer is tight. Cylinder has some side-side movement. CALIBER: .38 S&W. FFL STATUS: Antique. S/N: 74150.

Otherwise, markings on the barrel and frame are standard. 5" barrel with ramped blade front sight and u-notch adjustable rear. Six shot fluted cylinder. Factory blued finish. Case colored trigger face with checkered target hammer. Square butt frame with factory smooth finish, lacquered wood grips and monogram medallions. Includes blue velvet lined wood display case with keys and plaque still in the packaging. Original box with tools and instruction sheet are also included, in addition to the original outer shipping box (for gun and display case). Specifically listed on the ATF C&R list. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light scratches and wear. Some light surface rust on the hammer. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean overall and retains strong rifling. Gold plated trigger with push button safety and tubular magazine. Walnut checkered stock with round knob grip and added Browning hard rubber recoil pad. LOP: 14-1/4".
