Post-WWII French Proofed P38 Mauser svw/45 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Holster, #8860g, 9mm, 4.9" barrel, phosphate finish, steel grips with horizontal grooves, dovetailed blade front sight and fixed rear sight with U-notch, hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, bottom magazine release, and one bright steel magazine. Magazine is a Czech contract type marked "P38/U/JVD/". Condition is good with overall wear to the finish. Black leather second type holster is unmarked with information painted out under the flap. Condition is very good showing light wear and use, all stitching and fittings are intact. Pistol was produced by French forces after they occupied the Mauser factory at the end of WWII and is marked "P.38/svw/45" on the left side slide, with a French five-pointed star proof stamp on the right-side slide. There are additional stars on the left side barrel and locking block. Matching numbers on frame, slide, barrel, and locking block. No import marks. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 75% of the light gray finish, with areas of wear to the frame and slide. Grips are very good showing wear to the front and bottom on each side. Action, hold open, and hammer drop safety all function properly; bore rates as good with darkening at the muzzle and very good rifling. Est.: $900-$1,200. (C&R/PPT)

WWII German P.38 Spreewerk cyq Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two Magazines and Holster, #8111S, 9mm, 4.9" barrel, blued finish, dark red plastic grooved grips, drift adjustable blade front sight and fixed rear sight with "U" notch, hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, bottom magazine release, and two (2) blued steel magazines. Both magazines are marked "P38/U" (for unhardened feed lips) on the right side with flat followers and "jvd" on the left side. The black 2nd Type pebble holster is marked "CXB/4" and "P38" on the rear. Holster condition is excellent showing wear to the rear side. All stitching and fittings are intact. Pistol is marked on right side slide "(eagle)88/firing proof/(eagle)88 final inspection stamp". There are additional "(eagle)88" stamps on the left side frame and barrel and right side of the blued block. Matching numbers on frame, slide, barrel and block. No import marks. Factory markings are clear. Condition is very good, the metal retaining approx. 90% finish, showing edgewear to the muzzle and around the slide. The reproduction grips are in excellent condition with light handling marks. Zero Series WWII German Spreewerk cyq P.38 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #01837v, 9mm, 4.9" barrel, blued finish, dark brown ribbed Bakelite grips, drift adjustable blade front sight and fixed rear sight with U-shaped groove. Pistol also features a hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, and includes one blued steel magazine. Left side of the magazine is marked "P38 U"; spine is marked "jvd" and "(eagle)WaA706". Right side of slide is marked with Nazi eagle firing proof and "U". There is an additional Nazi eagle firing proof and "U" on left side of the frame. Matching numbers on barrel, frame, slide, and locking block. No import marks. Condition is fine. Approx. 93%-95% factory blue remains. There is some scattered light edgewear on the barrel and slide, light wear to right side of the front grip strap, and wear to the safety. Proof marks etc. are clear. Grips are very good showing moderate handling wear, no cracks, there are a few small chips to the ribs on the right grip. Action, hold open, and hammer drop all function properly. German Gustloff-Werke Kar 98k Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #7734T, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, laminated stock set with cupped buttplate, inverted "V" front sight with attached hood and adjustable tangent rear sight. A good condition steel cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel. Left side receiver rail marked "Mod.98". Top of receiver ring marked "bcd/4". Barrel shank marked "eagle-swastika" and "avk/ay". "Eagle-swastika/H" mark on right side buttstock has possibly been re-stamped. All matching visible serial numbers. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 65% finish, with the magazine floorplate and one side of the buttplate cleaned, the other side with rust patina. Sling slot on the right-side buttstock has been re-shaped. Wood is otherwise good with handling marks and darkening to the finish. Bright bore rates as very good with very good defined rifling. Rare Post-WWII French Produced Kar 98k Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #573h, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, laminated stock with cupped buttplate, inverted "V" front sight with attached hood and adjustable tangent rear sight. Rifle was produced after WWII by occupying French forces at the Mauser factory using many leftover German parts. Marked "Mod.98/svw MB" on top of receiver ring with French five-pointed star proof stamp on left side. Barrel has Belgian "FN"(Lion)/P.V" and "(crown)ELG" stamps on left side. Rifle was built with stacking rod in place of bayonet mount. Matching numbers except for bolt stop. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 85% finish, with a plum color to the extractor and old cleaned pitting to the buttplate. Wood has been sanded and stained. There are de-lamination cracks to the top of the wrist behind the receiver tang and to the underside behind the trigger guard. Condition is otherwise good showing old handling marks. German D.R.P. Model 1933 Standard Model Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #52191, 8x57mm, 23.62" barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock set with finger grooves on each side and flat buttplate, inverted "V" front sight without hood grooves and adjustable tangent rear sight. A polished steel cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel, and an original black leather sling with open style buckle and teardrop adjustment holes is attached. Condition is fair to good with wear and finish loss, marked "MAUSER-WERKE A.-G. OBERNDORF A/N." on left side receiver rail. Top of receiver ring marked with "MAUSER" banner logo over "1933", and the left side with crowned "B.U.G.N." inspection stamps. Top of barrel stamped with "7.91" for actual bore diameter. Matching numbers except cleaning rod (#90). Marked "D.R.P./502191" inside of a double circle on left side buttstock behind disassembly ring for "Deutsches Reichspost". These rifles were used by Nazi organizations and the German Post Office. Condition overall is very good. Receiver ring and rear bridge appear to have been polished, and the markings are subdued. Balance of the metal surfaces retain sharp markings and approx. 80% of their finish, with wear and patina to the barrel bands, trigger guard/magazine floorplate, and especially to the buttplate. Wood appears to retain its dark red finish and is in very good condition, showing impressions, handling marks, and a chip to the front left forend. Action operates smoothly, bright bore rates as very good with good to very good rifling. No visible import marks. Est.: $3,500-$4,500. (C&R/PPT)

The metal was refinished and is very good with wear on the gas cylinder. Stock is marked boxed eagle left side with the "(circle)P" proof at pistol grip and is very good with light handling wear. The cheek pad is unmarked with flat islets and incorrect lacing. The M84 scope, #35830, has good optics and works well but shows scattered patina and pitting on the front ring. Included is a CMP marked hard case. Action works properly, bore is very good with an erosion of 2.5 and a good muzzle. No import marks. All of the visible parts appear to be the correct configuration for H&R. The parkerizing is very good throughout but a few parts were refinished; the bolt is light gray with a sheen and the receiver is a questionable dull gray. Stock is unmarked and varnished and is in excellent condition showing no scratches or wear. Buttplate shows wear and was refinished. A certificate from the CMP is included. Rifle was arsenal rebuilt with mixed parts and refinished in late WWII. The refinish on the small parts is very good, but the receiver, barrel and upper band show wear. Scant stock is marked "U/S" in the cutoff well with a partially "(boxed)SA" rebuild stamp on the left side. WWII German Mauser byf-44 Police Issue P.38 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #5591, 9mm, 4.9" barrel, blued finish, dark brown ribbed Bakelite grips, drift adjustable blade front sight and fixed rear sight with "U"-shaped groove. Pistol also features a hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, and includes one blued steel magazine. Left side of the magazine is marked "P38"; spine is marked "(eagle)/WaA?06" and "jvd". Right side of slide is marked with Nazi eagle firing proof, "F" and, "(eagle)/WaA135". Left side of the slide with commercial "(eagle)N". There is an additional "(eagle)135" waffenamt on left side of the frame. Matching numbers on barrel, frame, and slide. Locking block is not numbered and the side is marked "(eagle)359". No import marks. Condition is good. Finish shows toning and wear but still a majority remains. There is light pitting present on parts of the barrel, salt and pepper type blemishes on the trigger guard bow. There is a piece missing from the upper back edge of the left grip, otherwise both show moderate age and handling wear. Action operates smoothly, hold open functions properly, but the hammer drop does not work. Near excellent bore is bright with well-defined rifling. DWM Model 1906 American Eagle Commercial Luger, #35430, .30 Luger cal., 4.75" barrel, rust blued finish, straw-colored small parts, checkered walnut grips, inverted "V" front sight and fixed rear sight with small "V" notch, no stock lug with grip safety. Includes one nickel-plated magazine with unmarked wood base. "DWM" marked toggle "American Eagle" chamber marking, marked "GERMANY" under serial number on front of frame. Grips are not numbered, otherwise all visible numbers are matching. Condition is fine, retaining approx. 92% original rust blued finish. Finish shows general mild thinning primarily on the muzzle, highpoints, and edges. Straw colors have worn to approx. 50% coverage. Milling to remove lettering under safety in the white. Factory lettering is clear. Grips show general age and wear with intermittent spots of flattening to the checkering detail. There is a repaired chip to the upper back corner on the left grip panel, below the safety. Action operates smoothly but the hold open does not function. Bore is primarily bright with a little mild frosting visible; rifling is very good. Magazine is in good condition, with some very mild pitting and darkening to the sides, no chips or significant dents to the wood base. Est.: $1,500-$2,000. (C&R/PPT)**

WWII Mauser K98k duv-42 Code Berlin-Lubecker Maschinenfabrik Bolt Action Rifle, #6961i, 7.92mmx57mm, blued finish, 23.6" barrel, receiver marked "duv 42", Nazi eagle firing proof on receiver and barrel, "(eagle)214" waffenampt on receiver, all visible numbers matching and correct, no visible import stamps, 5-rd. internal magazine, drift adjustable inverted "V" front sight with sight hood, tangent rear sight adjustable from 1-20, bayonet lug, cleaning rod, machined trigger guard and floorplate. Laminated wood stock and upper handguard, solid front barrel band, machined rear barrel band, bolt takedown disc, side sling slot, cupped buttplate, large "(eagle)214"stamp and serial number on lower edge of stock, small "(eagle)214" stamp at wrist. Condition is very good, the action and barrel retaining approx. 95+% original blued finish, with light rust patina on various areas, wear lines on the bolt body from use, mottled plum color with light rust spots on the extractor, trigger guard and floorplate with some freckling, buttplate has dark rust patina, with heavy rust near the top; stock disc has a dark patina. Bore is bright with strong lands and grooves, the action and safety function properly. Stock has not been sanded and shows a few scattered dings, scratches, and small dents, with some spotting on the bottom near the wrist. Looks like an untouched vet bring-back piece that has never been messed with. If one was to do some sympathetic cleaning to the metal pieces, this could be a very nice example. Est.: $1,500-$2,000. Winchester Semi-Automatic M1 Carbine, #1267578, .30 Carb. cal., receiver is marked "WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK/1267578", with an adjustable "PI" marked sight, and the 18" barrel is marked "W". Carbine was rebuilt and refinished with a bayonet lug that is marked "C" below center. The refinish is very good but the receiver appears to be original finish. The low-wood stock is marked "WRA/GHD" with crossed cannons and "28" painted on the pistol grip. "M R" (Mt. Rainer Ordnance Depot) is stamped on the lower left. Wood is very good with light handling wear. Included are a WWII khaki sling and an "IW" magazine. Action functions properly, bore is very good. No visible import marks. Est.: $1,000-$1,800. The Ordnance crossed cannon is marked on the back; trigger guard is marked "L" on the left side and "C" on the right. Keyes plastic grips are very good. Slide is marked "REMINGTOIN RAND INC./SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A.", with a "P" on top. Fixed sights are standard military. Barrel is marked "HS" with a "P". The parkerized finish is excellent throughout with light wear to the top of the barrel. The blued WWII magazine is marked "S" for Scovill. Action works properly, bore is excellent. U.S. Ithaca/Remington-Rand M1911A1 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #1262505, .45 ACP cal., 5" parkerized barrel, receiver is in the Ithaca serial number range and marked "FJA" with a "P" on the left side; "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "M1911 A1 U.S. ARMY" over the serial number on the right. The Ordnance cross cannon is faint at the back. The left grip is Colt in good condition, and the right grip is Keyes with an area of wear below the top screw. Slide is marked "REMINGTON RAND INC./SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A.", on the left with a "P" on top. Fixed sights are standard military. Pistol was arsenal refinished leaving some of the markings faint. The parkerized refinish remains excellent throughout. The blued magazine is unmarked and in very good condition. Action works properly, bore is excellent. Modified German Kar 98k Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, with Scope, #22019, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, laminated stock set with checkered cupped buttplate, inverted "V" front sight with attached hood and adjustable tangent rear sight. Left side receiver rail marked "Mod.98" behind a "(eagle)135" inspection stamp. There are "eagle-swastika" firing proofs on the left side receiver and barrel. Barrel code is "E13/(eagle)135". There is a subdued "eagle-swastika WaA 135" stamp on the right-side buttstock behind the disassembly ring. Barrel bands and trigger guard/magazine floorplate are stamped. Matching numbers on receiver and barrel. Bolt handle and bolt sleeve have been renumbered to match. Condition overall is good, the metal retaining approx. 70% finish, with rust patina to the right-side barrel, receiver, and trigger guard/magazine floorplate. Stock has been sanded smooth and stained over old handling marks, now in good condition. Action operates smoothly, dark bore rates as fair to good with rust frosting and good rifling. No visible import marks. Scope tube is marked "OPTIKOTECHINA". Condition is fair with wear and rust to the tube. The three-post reticle is bright but the optics have a yellow color. The adjustment knob turns freely. Rear base is marked "(eagle)136", and the front scope ring is stamped "907". Condition of mounts is good showing wear and patina. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R/PPT)

German Kar 98k Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #9026O, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock set, inverted "V" front sight and adjustable tangent rear sight. A good condition cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel. Marked on top of receiver ring with Mauser Oberndorf code "42/1938". Left side receiver rail is marked "Mod.98". There are two "eagle-swastika" proof stamps on the left side barrel and receiver, three "(eagle)/63" stamps on the right-side receiver, and two partially mutilated "(eagle)/WaA6)"? stamps on the right side barrel below the rear sight. Right side buttstock marked with "(eagle)/H/(partially visible)WaA63/faint WaA63" stamps. Underside of buttstock is marked with four faint to clear "WaA63" stamps. Matching numbers except cleaning rod. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 80% bluing with finish loss, browning, and patina to the barrel bands, bolt stop, trigger guard/floorplate, and buttplate. Wood is very good with deep bruises to the left side forend, and bruises and darkening to the right and underside of the forend along with overall scratches and handling marks to the finish. WWII German P.38 Spreewerk cyq Semi-Automatic Pistol, #8229N, 9mm, 4.9" barrel, blued finish, black Bakelite grooved grips, drift adjustable blade front sight and fixed rear sight with "U" notch, hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, bottom magazine release, and one blued steel magazine. Magazine is unmarked and in good condition, with wear, patina, and scratches to the finish. Pistol is marked on right side slide "(eagle)88/faint firing proof/partial (eagle)88 final inspection stamp". There are additional "(eagle)88" stamps on the left side frame and barrel and right side of the blued block. Matching numbers on frame, slide, barrel and block. No import marks. Factory markings are muted on the left side slide. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 80% finish. The upper right side grip is cracked, otherwise both sides are good, showing light handling marks. Action and hammer drop safety function properly but the hold open will not keep the slide in the rear position; bright bore rates as very good with very good rifling. Est.: $800-$1,000. (C&R/PPT)
