WWII German Occupation Radom VIS 35 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Holster and Two Magazines

WWII German Occupation Radom VIS 35 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Holster and Two Magazines, #F0673, 9mm, 4.75" barrel, blued finish, black plastic checkered grips impressed with an "FB" and "VIS" logo inside inverted triangle on each side, blade front sight and fixed rear sight with "V" notch, hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, and two blued steel magazines. Both magazines are marked with an "(eagle)189" on the floorplate. Condition for both is good, with finish wear and one showing areas of brown patina. Black leather holster has single magazine pouch and is unmarked. Condition is good with wear and handling marks to the finish. All stitching and fittings are intact. Left side of slide is marked "F.B.RADOM VIS Mod.35.Pat.Nr.15567.", with an "eagle-swastika" and "(eagle)625" (Steyr) firing proof stamped to the rear. There are "(eagle)77" stamps on the left side of the slide and both sides of the frame. This is a Type III pistol made without a takedown latch/slide notch and no stock slot. #0776 is stamped behind the hammer drop safety. No import marks. Condition overall is good, the metal retaining approx. 50% finish, with wear mostly to the slide, showing patina at the sight notch and cocking grooves. Grips are good showing moderate wear with chips and scratches. Right lower grip screw boss is stripped and the screw is included separately. Action, hold open, and hammer drop safety all function properly; bright bore rates as very good with defined rifling. Est.: $900-$1,200. (C&R/PPT)

U.S. Springfield Armory M1898 (Krag) Bolt Action Rifle

Lot # 198 (Sale Order: 202 of 842)      

U.S. Springfield Armory M1898 (Krag) Bolt Action Rifle, #416300, .30-40 Gov't cal., 30" barrel is not marked, left side of receiver is marked "U.S./MODEL 1898 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 426300". The 30" barrel is not marked. The M1901 rear sight ladder works but was welded at the base. Metal has considerable blue, with wear and light rust at the front of the barrel. Stock has a boxed "JSA/1902" cartouche on the left side and a "(circle)P" proof behind the trigger guard. Stock is very good with some dents, the worst between barrel bands. Buttplate lacks finish and has areas of light rust. Bright bayonet is marked "US", dated 1896, and in very good condition with a layer of grease. Type 2 scabbard is in very good+ condition retaining most of the blue. Included is a M1907 leather sling marked "H.S.S. CO." which is dry but sound. Action works properly, bore is good. U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle, #587182, .30-06 cal., front of the trigger housing is marked "(Flaming Bomb)/N.R.A.", receiver is marked "U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL 1903/587182". The 24" barrel is marked "S.A./Flaming Bomb/9-14", with an unmarked front sight cover. The original niter blue is worn in spots and in need of cleaning. Bolt is a replacement. The finger-groove stock has a boxed "JFC" cartouche with "(circle)P" proof and a metal tag nailed at the back with "72". Stock is in very good condition with the slightest wear. Included is a period M1907 leather sling in good condition with some scuffing and a Model 1905 bayonet. The bayonet is very good with a darkened blade and marked "SA/Flaming Bomb/1916" on the left and "US/644127" on the right. The M1910 bayonet scabbard is good with wear at the leather bottom. Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle, #296157, .30-06 cal., receiver is marked "U.S./ROCKISLAND/ARSENAL/MODEL 1903/296157", and the 24" barrel is marked "SA/(Flaming Bomb)/4-18/A", with a blade front sight. Judging from the parts, the rifle was arsenal rebuilt and refinished during WWII. Rear sight has a late WWII replacement slide. The refinish is very good throughout with the "R" marked bolt showing light wear. Scant stock is unmarked and in excellent condition with no scratches or handling wear. U.S. Winchester Semi-Automatic M1 Carbine, #1055643, .30 Carb. cal., Type 1 spring tube receiver is marked "WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK/1055643", with a flip sight. The Type 2 spring tube without the lug is incorrect. The area behind the rear sight was sanded leaving Winchester difficult to read. The 18" barrel is marked "W" and "(circle)WP" proof with a reproduction Type 1 barrel band. The barrel/receiver group was refinished black and in good condition, trigger housing shows original finish with light wear. The I-cut stock is marked WRA/GHD with the crossed cannons on the right side and a ".U." rebuild on the left side. Stock is in good condition with some scattered dents and was modified to low wood. U.S.A". on the left, with a "P" on top. Fixed sights are standard military. Factory parkerized finish is excellent overall with light wear on top of the barrel. Barrel is marked "F" (Flannery) with the "P" proof. The Keyes plastic grips are excellent, and the commercial magazine is marked "Colt/45 AUTO" on the floorplate. Smith & Wesson 3rd Model Perfected Single Shot Target Pistol, #10117, .22 LR cal., 10" ribbed barrel, blue finish, diamond center checkered walnut two-piece extension grips, flat-sided "I" solid frame with an integral trigger guard, pinned Patridge style blade front and adjustable square-notch rear sights, color case hardened hammer and trigger, with clear factory markings. Mfg'd 1909-1923. Pistol is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 96%-97% toning factory finish, with light wear at the muzzle and light scratches along the barrel, particularly the right side. There are a couple of minor nicks to the barrel rib. Receiver shows a crisp S&W trade mark on the lower right side. Trigger guard displays modest edgewear. Hammer and trigger still retain muted color case hardening. Grips are in fine condition with sharp checkering, showing minor indentations and mars; bases have several tiny flea bite nicks. Bright bore shows well-defined rifling and the action is crisp, locking up securely. The third, or "Perfected" Model, was limited in production to only 6,949. Est.: $1,000-$1,200. (C&R/PPT)**

Mfg'd 1925-1936. Pistol is in fine overall condition as refinished. Pistol retains approx 95%-96% of an old quality reblued finish, with light wear at the muzzle and scattered pinprick pitting under the new finish. Trigger has been jeweled during the period of use. Stag grips are in near excellent condition and fit well. Bore is very good with well-defined rifling. Lot includes the blue factory cardboard box with a partially legible matching number on the underside in grease pencil. Box is in good condition with the "Nox-Rust Wrapper" paper included. Metal corners are intact with a good end label, showing losses around the edges. Mfg'd 1958. Revolver is in excellent overall condition, retaining 97%-98% factory finish, with light scratches and minor handling marks only. Factory markings are sharp with a four-screw frame. High Standard 1980 Olympic Commemorative Semi-Automatic Target Pistol, #USA0569, .22 Short cal., 6.75" tapered barrel, ported integral stabilizer and blade front and adjustable rear bridge sights, two barrel weights on the underside, push-button takedown, stippled front and back grip straps, blue finish, checkered walnut two-piece grips with thumb rest, and unmarked 10-shot magazine. Mfg'd 1980. Pistol is in near excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 96%-97% factory blue finish, with wear at the muzzle, light scratches and dried oil that should clean. Trigger, magazine release and safety are all bright gold finished. Right barrel lug is marked "HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP./E.HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A." Right rear of slide is engraved with the five gold rings Olympic logo. The underside of the barrel is factory drilled to accommodate weights and stabilizers, there are two weights attached. The checkered walnut grips are in near excellent condition with sharp checkering. Action functions smoothly, bore is minty bright with well-defined rifling. A scarce pistol, produced in 1980 with limited production of 1000 pistols, this model commemorated the 1980 Moscow Olympics, which the USA did not attend because of the Soviet 1979 invasion of Afghanistan. Mitchell Arms Jeff Cooper Signature Model Single Action Semi-Automatic Pistol, #CS00012, .45 ACP cal., 5" barrel, matte blue finish, slim black checkered Micarta two-piece grips, factory dovetailed Heinie blade front and square-notch rear sights, one 8-rd. Mitchell Arms marked magazine, bobbed hammer, beavertail grip safety, clear factory markings, with Jeff Cooper's signature on both side of the slide. Lot includes a Mitchell Arms letter of provenance, indicating that Serial number CS00012 was the best of the only three known full-production pistols completed and was used intended for display at the SHOT Show. Additionally, the lot includes a signed marketing agreement between Jeff Cooper and Don Mitchell, President of Mitchell Arms. Further, the consignor has provided additional history on the pistol. Mfg'd 1996. Pistol is in excellent overall condition, retaining 99%+ factory finish and may be unfired. Grips are excellent, fit well and show little use. Import marked "SILE/OSSIAN, IN" on the right side of the frame, and "MADE IN SWITZERLAND" on the left side. Includes matching numbered factory box with foam inserts, cleaning rod, and brushes. Pistol is in excellent overall condition and appears near new, retaining 99%+ factory finish, displaying only a few minor handling marks on the frame. Grips appear like new. Retaining approx. 98% factory blue with a few minor scratches and handling marks present on the slide and front grip strap. Grips appear near new with sharp checkering detail. Both front and rear look like Millett sights. Features include an adjustable trigger, ambidextrous safety, and wide grip safety, with two (2) factory Colt magazines, wood grain pattern box with matching Colt Custom Gun Shop end label, instruction manual, and blue plastic Colt case. Mfg'd 1981. Condition is excellent. Front portion of the slide shows a little mild scratching. There are a few minor handling marks to the front and back strap. Grips appear like new.
