Shotgun also features a green fiber-optic front sight and sporting elevator rear sight, tang safety, and hammer extension. Topped with Redfield two-piece mounts, rings, and an early Leupold Mountaineer fixed 4x rifle scope in gloss black, with a fine wire reticle providing bright and clear optics. Scope is in very good condition with scrapes and scratches, drifting to plum. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition as customized, retaining 97%-98% of a later re-blued finish, with light scratches and handling marks. Right side of the barrel is marked "MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA". Stock is in near excellent condition with fine checkering, ebony forend tip, scroll engraved grip cap and beaded cheekpiece, with a couple small dents along the edge, showing dramatic figure and mineral streaking. Butt ends with a Pachmayr ventilated rubber recoil pad providing a 13.25" LOP. Bore is very good with well-defined rifling and the action is smooth with a crisp trigger. Front sight base is retained with the blade removed, rear sight has been removed with the tap holes filled. Topped with Tilden Mfg. two-piece bases, rings, and an early Leupold Westerner 8x rifle scope in gloss black, with an adjustable objective and fine wire reticle providing clear and bright optics. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition as refinished and customized, retaining 96%-97% of an old quality reblue. Barrel is marked "WINCHESTER MODEL 54/.220 SWIFT". Mag. cal., 20.5" barrel, blue finish, custom fleur-de-lis checkered walnut one-piece pistol grip stock, ebony forend cap, checkered blue steel grip cap, two-panel checkered bolt handle, adjustable trigger, ramped blade front sight with the rear sight removed, jeweled bolt, bolt release and magazine follower, factory grooved receiver with integral scope bases, rings, and a Leupold VARI-X III 3.5-10x40 variable-power rifle scope with an adjustable objective in gloss black, and a duplex reticle providing clear and bright optics. Scope is in very good condition having gone to a plum color. Receiver was mfg'd in 1949. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition as customized, retaining 97%-98% of a later re-blued finish, with light handling marks only. Bolt handle has been contoured for scope mounting. Stock is outstanding with finely accomplished fleur-de-lis checkering, beaded cheekpiece, and a ventilated rubber Pachmayr pad providing a 13.75" LOP. Bore is excellent with well-defined rifling, action is smooth with a crisp trigger. This is a first rate custom rifle built on a post-war commercial BRNO Mauser action, likely completed in the 1960's, with the 7mm Remington Magnum caliber being introduced in 1962. Topped with Leupold two-piece bases, rings, and a Leupold M8-3X fixed-power rifle scope in gloss black, with a fine wire reticle providing clear and bright optics. Scope is in very good condition beginning to drift to plum. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 96%-97% blue finish, which is drifting to plum, with light scratches and handling marks. Trigger guard shows light edgewear and the action has some dried oil that should clean. Rifle was re-barreled by RCBS during the period of use and is marked "RCBS" just ahead of the rear sight. Stock is excellent with fine checkering, exotic wood forend tip, grip cap and beaded cheekpiece, displaying magnificent figure and finish. Butt ends with a black solid rubber Pachmayr pad providing a 13.5" LOP. Bore is near excellent, bright with well-defined rifling; action functions smoothly and the trigger breaks crisply. Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Sporting Rifle, #339751, .300 H&H Mag. cal., 26" barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut Winchester Super Grade one-piece pistol grip stock, Super Grade sling swivels, ebony forend cap, Winchester marked grip cap, hooded brass tipped ramped blade front and folding rear sights. Receiver is topped with a Buehler one-piece scope mount, bolt is etched with the matching serial number, clear factory markings with sharp Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and front ring. Mfg'd 1955. Rifle is in fine overall condition. Barrel shows 96%-97% of an old quality reblue with wear at the muzzle, light scratches, and scattered pitting under the newer finish along the left side, near the muzzle. Receiver shows nearly all of the factory finish with scattered light surface rust and erosion. Magazine base plate has scratches, scuffs and light surface rust. Trigger guard shows edgewear, with roughness on the left side. Stock is an original Winchester Super Grade model which joined the rifle during the period of use, in very good condition with sharp checkering and a beaded cheekpiece. The stock has been shortened during the period of use, ending with a Pachmayr ventilated rubber recoil pad providing a 13.25" LOP. Mfg'd 1950. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 95%-97% factory finish, with light handling marks and minor scratches. Magazine base plate shows small scrapes to bare metal and the trigger guard displays edgewear. Bolt is etched with the matching serial number. Front sight hood is a later replacement. Stock is fine with light indentations, scratches, and a small chip on the right side of the forend along the barrel channel. Butt shows a 1" well-completed repair on the right side of the toe, ending with the correct checkered blue steel buttplate with correct widow's peak top, providing a 13 5/8" LOP. Custom Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Sporting Rifle, #158119, .25-06 cal., 24" barrel, blue finish, magnificent checkered and carved English walnut one-piece pistol grip stock, sling studs, hooded steel bead ramped blade front sight with the rear removed and dovetail left vacant. Receiver is drilled and tapped with four vacant tap holes, the left side of the receiver has two vacant holes from an old aperture sight, clear factory markings with light Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver, the magazine base plate is inscribed "CAMPING EDITOR/ JOHN JOBSON/SPORTS AFIELD". Mfg'd 1950. Rifle is in excellent overall condition as refinished and customized, retaining 97%-98% of an old quality re-blue, with light handling marks and light surface rust around the front sight base. Barrel is marked ".257 ROBERTS" and has been re-chambered to the current caliber during the period of use, stamped "25-06" at the left rear of the barrel. Bolt is etched with the matching serial number. Stock is spectacular with carved Germanic style oak leaves and fine checkering, exaggerated rollover cheekpiece, Fischer style checkered blue steel grip cap, hinged floorplate, and outstanding feather crotch figure in the buttstock. Butt ends with a ventilated rubber recoil pad providing a 13.75" LOP. Bore is very good with well-defined rifling, action is smooth with a crisp trigger. Mfg'd without sights. Bolt mounted safety and matching numbered bolt. Factory drilled and tapped receiver is topped with two-piece bases, quick-detachable rings, and a Burris Signature 3-9x scope. Scope has a gloss black finish, duplex reticle, and includes black rubber Burris lens covers. Rifle rates in excellent overall condition. Approx. 99% factory blue remains. Stock has a few intermittent small impressions, most notable on left side of the buttstock. There is also a little finish wear to the sides, below the receiver. Checkering detail is crisp. Rifle also features an adjustable trigger and matching numbered bolt. Topped with a two-piece base, unmarked rings, and a Millett 6-25x56mm scope. Scope has a matte black finish and Mil-Dot reticle. Rifle is in very good condition overall. Matte finished barrel with intermittent light scuffs and handling marks. There is no provision for barrel mounted sights. Action with factory blue finish, matching numbered bolt with modified oversized handle, replacement large bolt release, no safety. Fancy black with red metallic paint, blue and red pinstriped fiberglass benchrest stock with 3" flat bottom forend, aluminum trigger guard, and black leather buttplate. LOP is 12-7/8". Topped with one-piece Redfield scope base and the lower half of a pair of scope rings. Rifle is in very good overall condition showing moderate range use, including scattered light scuffs and scratches on the barrel. Receiver retains approx. 98% factory blue. Topped with a one-piece rail, rings, and a Bausch & Lomb 4x16 variable-power rifle scope with an adjustable objective in matte black, and a duplex reticle providing clear and crisp optics. Scope is in very good condition with an extended sunshade. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition with light scratches and minor handling marks. Stock is near excellent with light marks and several flea bite chips along the right edge of the forend. Flat bottom forend measures 3" across. Straight comb butt ends with a smooth aluminum buttplate providing a 13.25" LOP. Bore is minty bright and the action is butter smooth with a light and crisp trigger.
