U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle

Lot # 345 (Sale Order: 351 of 842)      

U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle, #843764, .30-06 cal., receiver is marked "U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL 1903/843764", with a Lyman receiver sight. The 24" barrel is marked "SA/(Flaming Bomb)/12-27", with a front sight cover marked "G" in a triangle and "C64157-4". The M1905 sight was removed and the stacking swivel is stamped. The metal was refinished and is very good throughout, with wear on the bolt and buttplate. Mfg'd 1918 and later turned into a Match rifle. The unmarked pistol grip stock is very good showing no wear but the handguard has scattered dents. Attached is a homemade leather sling. Action works properly, bore is very good. No import marks. Saginaw SG Semi-Automatic M1 Carbine

Saginaw SG Semi-Automatic M1 Carbine, #5852513, .30 Carb. cal., receiver is marked "SAGINAW SG/5852513", with an adjustable sight, and the 18" barrel is marked "UNDERWOOD/7-44/(Flaming Bomb)/P" with a bayonet lug. Carbine was arsenal rebuilt and the dark refinish is very good, except the bolt has patina and the buttplate shows wear. Stock is stamped "RSG" in the sling well and "84" over red paint on the pistol grip. Wood is very good with a few scratches and dents. Included are an OD sling, JLC-SG magazine and a cardboard shipping carton. Action works properly, bore is very good. No visible import marks. Est.: $800-$1,200. The 24" barrel is marked "SA F 6535448 1-55 A217B P" with a "(boxed)(eagle)". The original parkerizing is very good with spots of rust on the butt-plate. Stock is marked with a Defense Eagle (boxed) on the left side and a "(circle)P" proof on the pistol grip. Stock is very good with light handling marks. This is a collectable M1 rifle that is all original and correct. Action works properly, bore is very good with an erosion of 2.5 and a good muzzle. No import marks. WWII German Walther ac-42 P.38 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #6755e, 9mm, 4.9" barrel, blued finish, ribbed Bakelite grips, drift adjustable blade front sight and fixed rear sight with "U"-shaped groove. Pistol also features a hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, and includes one blued steel magazine. Left side of the magazine is marked "P.38" and has an "(eagle)359" waffenamt on the spine. Right side of slide is marked with Nazi eagle firing proof and two "(eagle)359" waffenamts. There is an additional "(eagle)359" waffenamt on left side of the frame. Matching numbers on barrel, frame, slide, and locking block. No import marks. Condition is fine. Close to 90% factory metal finish remains. Showing wear to the front grip strap, muzzle, and edges. Factory lettering and proof marks are clear. Grips show normal signs of age and light handling wear. Including a few small indentations, no chips or cracks. Japanese Type 14 Nambu Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two Magazines, Holster, and Accessories, #48335, 8x22mm Nambu cal., 4.61" barrel, blued finish, grooved hardwood grips, inverted "V" front sight and fixed rear sight with square notch. Magazine #1 is nickel finished with an aluminum base and stamped "399" on the rear. Condition is very good with a bright color. Magazine #2 is blued with an aluminum base and stamped "353" on the rear. Condition is very good with light wear. The Type IV leather holster is marked with three characters under the flap. Condition is fair with scratches, scuffs and darkening. The closure stud is missing. The spare striker and firing pin are in fair to good condition. Pistol is marked on right side frame (Nagoya Arsenal symbol) and a "ro" Series mark. Date stamped below "19.7" for production in July 1944. Matching number on bolt. Left side frame marked with characters for "Type 14". Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 60% finish, showing edgewear and brown toning. P.35 Nazi Marked Polish Radom Type II Semi-Automatic Pistol, #F2686, 9mm, 4.6" barrel, salt blue finish, checkered plastic two-piece grips with "FB" on the left panel and "VIS" on the right, lanyard loop, low-profile blade front and fixed V-notch rear sights, unmarked 7-rd. blue steel magazine, ringed hammer, three levers and no slot. Factory markings are sharp, the left side of the slide is marked "P.35(p)" with German Waffen "WaA77" on the slide and frame, additionally there is an "eagle-swastika" and "(eagle)/623" Waffenamt marks on the slide. There are two faint proofs on the right side of the trigger bow. Lot includes a period black leather flap holster in very good condition with scrapes and scuffs, showing tight stitching. Mfg'd 1939-1942. Pistol is in near fine overall condition, retaining approx. 90%-92% thinning factory finish, with even holster wear and light surface erosion along the slide and frame. Frame shows highpoint edgewear and minor machining marks. Straps have drifted to an even gray patina with light edgewear. Grips are very good and fit well. Wisner magazine, 12" Freeland accessory rail on the underside of the forend. Rifle is in very good overall condition, retaining 90%-95% toning blue finish, with minor scratches and scrapes. Bottom metal and trigger guard have gone to brown with edgewear. Factory markings are clear. Stock is very good with indentations, mars and handling marks. There is a small half-inch sliver missing at the front left of the forearm. Butt ends with a Canjar aluminum buttplate with folding hook providing a 13" LOP. Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) Martini Match Single Shot Rifle, #FC2334X, .22 LR cal., 26" heavy barrel, Parker-Hale PH1 Match globe style front with insert and PH25B Match aperture rear sights, ejectors, Parker-Hale aluminum trigger shoe, adjustable trigger, blue finish, smooth walnut two-piece heavy target stock, and accessories rail. Rifle is in very good overall condition retaining 80%-85% thinning original blue finish, with scattered light surface erosion, particularly towards the muzzle. Receiver is drifting to gray patina with edgewear and moderate surface corrosion and surface rust at the left bottom edge. Lever shows muted color case hardening. There are two sight blocks installed on the barrel. Markings are sharp with numerous English proofs and acceptance marks on the barrel and receiver. Barrel address reads "THE BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS Co. LTD. ? ENGLAND" The smooth walnut target stock is very good with a 2" wide beavertail forend with an accessories rail. Buttstock has an exaggerated rollover cheekpiece and pistol grip, ending with a BSA marked rubber butt pad providing a 14" LOP. Bore is very good with well-defined rifling. Action functions smoothly, locks up securely, and the trigger breaks crisply. The BSA International MK II was mfg'd only from 1953-1959. Est.: $600-$800. (C&R/PPT)

Rifle is in near fine overall condition, retaining 90%-95% blue finish, with scratches, mars, and dried oil that should clean. Receiver was mfg'd in 1948 and displays a mottled plum tone. Factory markings are legible with Winchester "WP" proof on the front ring. Left side of the barrel is marked "ROY GRADLE 30:06" at the breech. Bottom metal and trigger guard show minor loss of finish and edgewear. Stock is in very good condition with indentations, scrapes and bruising. Butt has been shortened and extended during the period of use with a .25" wood extension, ending with a deteriorated rubber pad providing a 13" LOP. Topped with rings and a Nikko Stirling Game King 6-24x44 variable-power rifle scope with an adjustable objective and target turrets. Mfg'd 2010-2018. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 98%-99% factory finish, with light marks from handling and storage. Stock is near excellent with light indentations and minor marks. U.S. Marked Kimber Model 82A Government Bolt Action Single Shot Target Rifle, #GM002752, .22 LR cal., 25" heavy barrel, blue finish, smooth walnut one-piece heavy target stock, globe front sight with insert, no rear sight with (2) sight blocks on barrel, full-length accessories rail on the underside of the forend, factory grooved receiver, and clear factory markings with "U.S." on left side of receiver. Mfg'd from 1987-1991. Rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining 95%-96% factory finish, with scattered light to moderate surface rust along the barrel due to poor storage. There are spots of light surface rust on the trigger guard. Stock is fine with minor marks and would benefit from a coat of oil. Topped with Weaver two-piece bases, rings, and a Redfield 3x9 variable-power rifle scope finished in gloss black with a duplex reticle, includes a set of rubber lens covers. Scope is in good condition, however there are several small dark particles on the interior of the lens. Mfg'd 1979. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 95%-96% factory finish, with wear at the muzzle and minor marks along the barrel. Bottom metal shows edgewear and the magazine base plate has light scratches. Stock is near excellent with light indentations and mars consistent with carry and use. Topped with Weaver two-piece bases, rings, and a Weaver V7 2.5x7 variable-power rifle scope in gloss black with a duplex reticle. Scope functions but is cloudy and should be serviced. Mfg'd 1968. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 95%-96% thinning blue finish, with light wear at the muzzle and minor handling marks. Receiver shows light scratches and dried oil that should clean. Bottom metal and trigger guard show oxidation due to poor storage. Stock is near excellent with minor indentations and light handling marks. Buttstock ends with a Remington marked ventilated rubber recoil pad providing a 13.25" LOP.
