Lot of Three (3) German WWII Leuchtpistole 34 Single Shot Flare Pistols, 26.5mm smoothbore cal., 6" round barrels with octagonal chambers, duralumin construction with blackened finish, checkered dark red bakelite grips with steel lanyard rings on butt of grips. No sights. Break-open actions with lever releases. All are marked "ayf/43" on left side frame and with "eagle-swastika" and "(eagle)280" inspection stamps on right side frame and barrel. All have matching numbers on frame and barrel. The extractor retaining pins have been removed from all barrels: 1) #7275n, Kriegsmarine issue, marked "eagle-swastika/M" on left side frame and right side barrel. Condition is very good, the frame retaining approx. 30% finish, now with a gold toning, and the barrel with 80% finish, showing edgewear and scratches. Grips are very good showing light wear to the bottoms. Bore has dark spots that may clean, otherwise rates as good. Lock up and action operate smoothly. 2) #1408n. Condition is very good, the metal retaining approx. 90% finish, with edgewear to the frame and muzzle. Grips are very good with a chip and small areas of flattening to the checkering. Bright bore rates as excellent. Lockup and action operate smoothly. 3) #6077m. There is a partial flying eagle style decal on the barrel. Pistol condition is good, the metal retaining approx. 70% finish, showing edgewear and scratches. Grips are very good with small chips and areas of flattening to the checkering. Break-open action with lever release. Marked with mfgr's code "gpt/1944" on left side frame. Marked on top of each barrel with a "(circle)4" and an "(eagle)2" firing proof. There is a tiny shield symbol under crossed pennants over another "(eagle)2" firing proof on the rear of the frame. Matching number on barrels. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 60% finish, with edgewear and scratches. Grips are very good showing light handling marks. No sights. Break-open actions with lever releases: 1) #514. Marked "ayf/43" and "Zink 4" on left side frame, with "eagle-swastika" firing proofs and "(eagle)280" inspection stamps on right side barrel and frame. Checkered dark red bakelite grips. Matching numbers. Condition is good, the zinc metal showing an even color with frost patina and toning, and the steel hammer, trigger, and latch/trigger guard etc. with rust patina. Grips are very good with chips and scratches. Bore rates as fair with darkening and patina. Action locks up and cycles smoothly. 2) #3694. Marked "ac/43/Zink" on left side frame, with "(eagle)/inverted heart" firing proofs and "(eagle)359" inspection stamps on right side barrel and frame. Checkered black bakelite grips. French MAS 36 Bolt Action Rifle, with Bayonet, #L1998, 7.5x54mm, 22.64" barrel, parkerized finish, hardwood stock set, blade front sight with hood and rear sight with sliding aperture. The bayonet has a matching number stamped on the pommel. Condition is good with arsenal refinish applied over old pitting. Rifle is marked "MAS MLE 1936" on left side receiver. Matching numbers. No markings on wood. Condition overall is excellent as arsenal refinished, with approx. 95% of the parkerized finish remaining on the metal. Hungarian M44(48.M) Mosin-Nagant Bolt Action Carbine, with Folding Bayonet, #BE1326, 7.62x54Rmm, 20.5" barrel, blued finish, beechwood stock set, hooded post front sight and adjustable tangent rear sight with "U" notch. The steel cleaning rod is missing. The folding spike bayonet is in very good condition and locks into place smoothly. Marked "02" on top of receiver ring as made at the "FEG" arsenal over "1953"and the Hungarian Communist crest. Right side buttstock stamped "B" for Budapest and "02". Matching numbers. Condition overall is good, the metal retaining approx. 60% finish, with cleaning to the hand guard caps and buttplate and thinning to the barrel shank and receiver. Wood has been sanded and oiled, now in good condition, with a blond color. Action operates smoothly, bore rates as fair to good with darkening forward of the lead and good rifling. Early Czechoslovakian Ceska Zbrojovka CZ-52 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #FK09568, 7.62 Tokarev cal., 4.9" barrel, gray oxide finish, ribbed Bakelite two-piece grips, lanyard loop, low-profile blade front and fixed U-notch rear sights, unmarked 8-rd. magazine, heel release magazine, safety/decocker, Czech Army acceptance mark with crossed swords on the right side of the frame, dated "54" and stamped "CZECH". Mfg'd 1954. Lot includes a period russet brown smooth leather flap holster in very good condition with cleaning rod and partially illegible Czech army markings under the flap. Pistol is in fine overall condition, retaining 90%-95% matte gray oxide finish, with scratches and holster wear along the slide and frame consistent with carry and use. Factory markings are legible with a "(circle)T" indicating military testing on the barrel. Grips are near excellent and fit well. Bore is very good, showing use with strong defined rifling. Lot includes a "Field Locker" plastic case with lock & keys, original cardboard box with matching label, an extra 8-rd. magazine, extra set of checkered rubber grips, leather police style flap holster, instruction manual and associated packaging materials. WWII German Occupation Vis 35 Radom Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Holster, #A2432, 9mm, 4.7" barrel, blued finish, checkered brown plastic grips with "FB" and "VIS" logos on each side, blade front sight and fixed rear sight with V-notch, hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, and one magazine. Magazine is unmarked and in very good condition showing light wear. The brown leather holster is ink marked under the flap "gaq 5.P35(p)". A U.S. soldier's name is also written under the flap. Condition is very good with handling marks, scratches, and darkening to the finish. All stitching and fittings are in place. Pistol is a Type 3 with two levers made without the disassembly lever and no stock slot in the rear of the frame. Marked "F.B.RADOM VIS Mod.35.Pat.Nr.15567" on left side slide. There are "(eagle)77" stamps on the left side frame and slide and an "eagle-swastika" and "WaA626" stamps on the left side slide. A faint "(eagle)77" is stamped on the right side frame. Matching number on grip safety, mismatched number on left side slide. No import marks. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 85% finish, with edgewear to the muzzle, scratches to the left side frame, and rust to the rear of the right side slide. Grips are modern reproductions and are in excellent condition. Action, hold open, and hammer drop safety all function properly; bright bore is very good with very good defined rifling. Dual Code German Kar 98k Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #29888B, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, solid stock with cupped buttplate, inverted "V" front sight with attached hood and adjustable tangent rear sight. Missing cleaning rod. Top of receiver ring marked with blurred Eagle stamp over "byf/bnz/4/44" indicating mfg. by Mauser Werke Oberndorf and Steyr Daimler Puch, Austria. Left side barrel shank and barrel marked with intact Eagle stamps. No stock markings. Matching numbers except safety lever (front band and trigger guard plate stamped with later font numbers). Condition overall is about good, the metal retaining about 70% finish, with most parts cleaned. Rear of the bolt is rusted and the bolt shroud pin will not snap forward. Wood is fair and has been sanded and oiled over old bruises and handling marks. Stock is cracked on the left side below the bolt stop and has a chip missing behind the rear band. Bore is dark forward of the chamber with good+ rifling. The bolt will close on an empty magazine, otherwise the action operates smoothly. No visible import marks. Est.: $700-$900. (C&R/PPT)

A bent, fair condition cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel, and an unmarked fair condition brown leather sling is attached to the left side. Rifle is marked on top of receiver ring "147/1940" and "Mod 98" on the left side receiver rail. Barrel is marked "RU". There are "eagle-swastika" firing proofs on the left side receiver and barrel with one "(eagle)359" and two "(eagle)37" stamps on the right-side receiver ring. An "(eagle)WaA 214" is stamped on the toe of the buttstock. Matching numbers with no numbers on cleaning rode. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 50% finish, showing overall thinning, scratches, and patina to the finish. There is rust and pitting on the buttplate. Stock has cuts and scratches to the left side buttstock and several large recent gouges to the right-side wrist and forend. Wood is otherwise good with overall darkening. Japanese Type 44 Arisaka Bolt Action Carbine, with Folding Bayonet, #31239, 6.5x50mm, 19.2" barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock set with two-piece buttstock, inverted "V" front sight with protectors and adjustable folding leaf rear sight with "V" notch. Bayonet condition is good with areas of patina and rust to the blade and mount. Blade locks into open position smoothly, but the button must be pushed manually to lock into folded position. A very good condition reproduction steel dustcover is included. Mum crest ground off of top of receiver ring, now marked only with characters for "44 Type". Left side receiver rail has no Series mark and is stamped with the symbol for the Kokura Arsenal. Buttplate is two-hole type for cleaning rods (not included) with sliding door. Mismatched numbers on bolt handle and bayonet mount. Condition overall is good, the metal retaining approx. 85% finish, with most parts toning to a brown color. Wood has impressions and handling marks to the darkened finish. The stock is cracked at the wrist, on both sides, although stock appears solid. Left side receiver rail marked "(boxed)("inverted S")/F48.5." Matching numbers. Rear trigger guard screw is missing and the front screw and rear sling screws fit poorly. Condition overall is good, the metal retaining approx. 30% finish, with pitting at the barrel wood line and toning and patina to much of the finish. Wood is fair with cracks to the forend and hand guard. The finish has been sanded and there are numerous putty repairs present. Action operates smoothly, dark bore rates as fair with fair rifling. The 30" barrel is equipped with a M1896 sight. The metal finish has gone to gray with light pitting on the barrel and dirt in the receiver. The unmarked M1896 stock was heavily sanded leaving the metal proud, and here is a .25" gap between the stock and handguard. Buttplate tang was hammered on. WWII German P.38 Walther ac/45 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two Magazines and Shoulder Holster

WWII German P.38 Walther ac/45 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two Magazines and Shoulder Holster, #8156c, 9mm, 4.9" barrel, blued/phosphate/bright finish, dark red Bakelite grooved grips, drift adjustable blade front sight and fixed rear sight with "U" notch, hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, and two (2) blued steel magazines. Both magazines are marked "P.38v/U" on the left side indicating the feed lips were left unhardened and have "ribbed" followers to provide extra support. There are no other markings. The shoulder holster is made from high quality brown polished leather and is unmarked. Holster condition is very good showing impressions and handling marks. All stitching is intact. Pistol is a late-war type assembled from available parts by the U.S. forces who captured the Walther plant or by the workers still on site. All parts have mismatched numbers in the "c" block. There is an "(eagle)/359" stamp on the left side frame and another on the right-side slide, but no firing proof or final inspection stamp. The bright breechblock is stamped with an "(eagle)/359" stamp but no serial number. The hammer has been crudely finished and left bright. The disassembly lever, slide, and magazine release are phosphate finished. No import marks. Markings are muted on the slide and the rails show hand filing. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 90% finish, showing edgewear and darkening to the barrel and patina to the hammer. Grips are very good with scattered chips to each side. WWII German P.38 Spreewerk cyq Zero Series Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two Magazines and Holster, #02717U, 9mm, 4.9" barrel, blued finish, black plastic grooved grips, drift adjustable blade front sight and fixed rear sight with "U" notch, hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, and two (2) blued steel magazines. Both magazines are marked "jvd" on left side. Condition for both is very good showing light wear with one possibly refinished. The black leather second type holster is ink stamped with an "HK" symbol on the inside flap and stamped "gxy 1945" and "P38" on the rear. Condition is very good showing scratches to the flap and surface cracking to the rear. All fittings and stitching are intact. Pistol was possibly issued to the Volksstrum (People's Army) and is marked on the right-side slide "U/firing proof/partial (eagle)88 final acceptance stamp". There is an additional "U" stamp on the left side frame, a "U" and "cyq" on the left side barrel, and an "(eagle)88" on the right side block. Matching numbers on frame, slide, and barrel. There is a matching number (717) stamped over an older number on the breechblock. No import marks. Factory markings are faintly visible on the left side slide. Condition overall is very good with approx. 90% finish remaining on the metal, also showing filing, reshaping, and re-bluing to the right side barrel and muzzle. Grips are possible reproductions and show light use. Action, hammer drop safety, and hold open all function properly: bright bore rates as good with good rifling. Est.: $900-$1,100. (C&R)

Smith & Wesson Victory Model Revolver, #V100105, .38 S&W cal., 4" pinned barrel, parkerized finish, smooth walnut two-piece grips with lanyard ring, half-round blade front and fixed square-notch rear sights, color case hardened hammer and trigger, all matching visible serial numbers and no visible import marks. Mfg'd 1942-1945. Revolver is in near fine overall condition, retaining 80%-85% parkerized military finish, with holster wear at the muzzle, along the barrel and frame. Cylinder shows leading edgewear with an index line and scattered surface erosion. Factory markings are legible but fading. Straps show thinning finish and tool marks. Grips are good with indentations and bruising. Butt is marked with the serial number, as are the cylinder and underside of the barrel. Bore is good with light scattered corrosion and defined rifling. Standard Products Semi-Automatic M1 Carbine, #1996373, .30 Carb. cal., receiver is marked "STD. PRO./1996373", with a square "S" marked flip sight, and the 18" barrel is marked "UNDERWOOD/8-43/(Flaming Bomb)" with a bayonet lug. The arsenal refinish is good except the bolt is patina, the flip sight is lacking finish, and the trigger housing is weak. Stock is stamped "S-HB" in the sling well, with crossed cannons on the right side and the number 3943818 stamped near the oiler well. A "367" is stamped at the left rear. Wood is good with scattered handling marks throughout and heavier scrapes at the left side of the receiver and right side behind pistol grip. Included are a post-war OD sling and a KSG magazine. U.S. National Postal Meter Semi-Automatic M1 Carbine, #4266963, .30 Carbine cal., receiver is marked "NATIONAL/POSTAL METER/4266963", with an adjustable rear sight. The 18" barrel is marked "MARLIN", with a bayonet lug band. The front sight is loose and there are no import marks. The metal finish is good with wear on the barrel, bayonet lug and buttplate. Stock is marked "P-U" in the sling well, "UEF/GHD" in a box with crossed cannons on the right side, and a "(circle)P" proof at the pistol grip. The high-wood stock shows use, was sanded, and has a crack on the left side of the recoil plate. Included are a WW2 OD sling marked "R.I. ORD. CENTER/1945", and a very good U magazine. Portuguese Contract M937A Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #C9260, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock set with flat buttplate, blade front sight with protectors and adjustable tangent rear sight. A steel cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel. Condition is good with some pitting, marked "MAUSER ?WERKE A.G.OBERNDORF A/N" on left side receiver rail. Top of receiver ring marked with Portuguese crest over "1937". There are "eagle-swastika" firing proofs on the left side receiver and barrel. Right side buttstock marked with "eagle-swastika", and two "eagle-swastika WaA 63" stamps. Matching numbers except trigger guard screws. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx.70% finish, with some parts showing wear, toning, or areas of patina. There is evidence of rust pitting along the barrel wood line. Wood is very good showing darkening, impressions, and handling marks. There is a partially visible white painted rack number on the right-side buttstock. Action operates smoothly, bright bore rates as very good with very good defined rifling. No visible import marks. Est.: $750-$1,000, (C&R/PPT)
