Antique Eagle Arms Front-Loading Pocket Revolver, by Plant's Mfg. Co., #1487, .30 cup-primed cal., 3.5" octagonal barrel marked "Eagle Arms Co. New York" on top rib, has removable cylinder pin below. Round 6-Shot cylinder has "Patented July 12, 1859 & July 21, 1863" on circumference. Brass solid frame has integral spurtrigger sheath and flat-bottom straps (marked "APC" at butt) with 2-pc. varnished rosewood grips. Mfg'd mid-1860s with blued barrel and cylinder, silver-plated frame. Condition is very good having 85% thinning barrel blue, bright cylinder, perhaps 10% darkened silver, sharp edges and markings. Grips are sound and smooth with most varnish. Action is crisp, lockup tight, bore is bright showing oxidation and good rifling. Est.: $600-$800. (Antique)**

Rare London Colt Model 1862 Pocket Navy Single Action Percussion Revolver, #37268 (with "L" either before or after), .36 cal., 5.5" octagonal barrel has "Address: Col. Colt London" in 1-line on top flat, London proof marks at left. Rebated 5-shot cylinder has the stagecoach holdup rolled scene and a London proof over each chamber. Frame is marked "Colts/Patent" at lower left, has steel straps marked "36 Cal" at left and a 1-pc. varnished walnut grip. Mfg'd in Hartford ca. 1863-65, with blued barrel, cylinder and grip straps, casehardened frame, hammer and lever. Revolver is in as-found "attic" condition having no original finishes, the barrel and cylinder being cleaned rust-gray gunmetal showing scattered moderate-to-heavy pitting (with traces of scene remaining), else an overall deep rust patina with good edges and fair markings. Wedge screw replaced. All visible serial numbers match (no # on lever, which is correct). Grip is sound and smooth showing generally minor wear and nicks and most original varnish. U.S. Springfield Model 1888 Ramrod Bayonet Trapdoor Rifle, with Sling, #507889, .45-70 Gov't. CF cal., 32-5/8" barrel marked "V/P/(eaglehead)" at breech has pinned-blade front and Buffington rear sights. "Low Arch" breechblock is marked "U.S/Model/1884" at hinge, flat lockplate has usual markings. Oil-stained walnut fullstock has a large metal "3" inlet at right, is marked "I/94" ahead of the curved buttplate marked "US/21/12" with door for tools (none present), has Model 1888 sliding ramrod-bayonet under muzzle. Mfg'd 1889-93. Condition is good-to-very good as refinished in deep black-blue, with bright lock, softened edges and lettering. Stock is sound and smooth having been sanded and re-oiled, lacks inspector's cartouche at left wrist. Action is crisp, frosted bore has very good rifling. Civil War-Era Sharps New Model 1863 Breechloading Percussion Carbine, #72380, .52 cal., 22" barrel marked with maker's name and address in 3 lines. "Straight Breech" receiver has sling ring and bar, "C. Sharps Pat./Sept. 12th 1848" at left, integral Sharps pellet primer, "R.S. Lawrence Pat./April 12th 1859" and "C. Sharps' Pat./Oct. 5th 1852" at right of back-action lock. Walnut forearm has a single band, the matching straight buttstock a 5.5" iron patch box and semi-crescent buttplate. Mfg'd ca. mid-1860s. Condition is fair showing no original finishes, the metal being generally smooth and dark having scattered discoloration, good edges and markings. Stocks show the effects of hard military and frontier use, with cracks, losses, and wire wrap to forearm, screw repaired break at right-side wrist of buttstock. U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1873 Trapdoor Single Shot Saddle Ring Carbine, #142683, .45-70 cal., 22" barrel, smooth walnut one-piece straight grip stock, blade front and M1879 "Buckhorn" rear sights. Carbine is in excellent overall condition as refinished, retaining 99% of an old quality reblue with light handling marks. Sideplate is marked 1873, with legible markings. Breechblock is from a Model 1884. Stock is excellent as refinished and began life as a rifle stock, reduced to carbine length. Oil-stained walnut forearm has single band, matching straight buttstock a curved buttplate. Mfg'd ca. 1861-65. Condition is good showing no original finish but generally smooth gray gunmetal having fine edges and markings. Stocks are sound with the normal marks of military use and "BA" carved at right butt. Original U.S. Civil War Ames Model 1832 Artillery Short Sword

Original U.S. Civil War Ames Model 1832 Artillery Short Sword, in very good overall condition, with an approx. 19" heavy iron double -edged blade, showing light scratches, pinprick pitting, scattered light surface erosion and staining. Blade markings are partially visible, with a partial Ames name and Chicopee, Mass. address on one side and U.S. on the reverse. Below the U.S., the stamped brass hilt and handguard are marked with "A.D.K." and "J.W.R." acceptance/inspection marks for A.D. King and General James W. Ripley. The molded brass grips display a scalloped eagle feather design with three transverse securing rivets. Pommel shows an eagle on each side with shield, arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other. The straight cross quillons end with round finials. A nice example of a scarce short sword, no scabbard. Est.: $700-$900.

Civil War-Era Spencer Model 1865 Lever Action Carbine, #16530, .50 RF cal., 20" barrel marked "M-1865" at breech. Distinctive receiver with back-action lock is marked "Spencer Repeating/Rifle Co. Boston, Mass./Pat'd. March 6, 1860" over chamber, "16530" to rear, has operating lever that drops open breech to receive cartridges from 7-shot magazine tube in buttstock, Stabler single-shot cutoff lever, left-side sling ring and bar. Oil-finished tapered forearm has a single band, matching straight buttstock a sling swivel at belly and crescent buttplate with door opening to mag. Mfg'd 1865-66. Condition is good retaining traces of blue, else gray gunmetal having scattered moderate erosion, scrapes, good edges and markings. Stocks are sound having generally light marks of age and military use incl. a 1.75 sliver missing at left-rear forend, repaired sliver at right. Missing hammer. Mfg'd 1880-84, with full nickel-plated finish but for blued trigger guard and case hardened hammer/trigger. Condition is very good retaining approx. 65% original nickel having scattered spots of rust/oxidation, very good edges and markings. Mfg'd pre-1899. Revolver is in fine overall condition, retaining 88%-90% flaking finish, with wear at the muzzle, scratches and light surface erosion. Cylinder shows leading edgewear, thinning finish and an index line at the rear; all matching visible serial numbers. Cylinder features the patent markings "SMITH & WESSON/SPRINGFIELD MASS./U.S.A. PATENTED/JULY 1, 84. APRIL 9, 89./MARCH 27, 94. MAY 29, 94./MAY 21 95. JULY 16 95." Hammer and trigger show muted color case hardening. Grips are very good and fit well with no losses or chips. Solid frame has 2-line patent dates and the "Rampant Colt" at left, loading gate numbered "518", faux mother-of-pearl grips. All visible serial numbers match. Mfg'd 1916. Condition is very good as completely refinished in chrome, 98% of which remains, with softened edges and lettering. Grips are bright with small chips at both toes. Action is crisp, bore is mostly smooth with fair to good rifling. Cased in a 13"x9"x2.5" modern wood box with black velvet lining form-fitted to the gun, in fine condition. Est.: $1,200-$1,800. Kittredge & Co./Cincinnati, O." on top flat; standard open sights, sling swivel 7" below muzzle; 9.5" receiver has large front hinge, 2 triggers (front releases bbl.), scrolled trigger guard marked "708" with rear finger-spur, sling swivel on lower tang, walnut buttstock with iron crescent buttplate. Mfg'd ca. 1859-64 in just 2,000 qty. Condition is fair, retaining no original blue but deep brown gunmetal having generally good edges and markings (lacks "Worcester, Mass." barrel marking). Frame hinge has crack at right but is sound (lockup a bit loose), the limiting link at right is missing as is screw at rear of frame. Stock shows minor marks/hairlines, fits small at frame, but is sound. Action works (but wobbly), bore shows overall corrosion and good rifling. Long fluted 6-shot cylinder is unmarked but for tiny British proofs over each chamber. Solid frame has 3-line 1871-74-75 patent dates at left, loading gate batch-marked "739", "saw-handle" straps with 2-pc. checkered hard rubber grips having the oval "Rampant Colt" logo at top. Mfg'd 1883 with blued finish but for casehardened frame. Condition is very good retaining traces of blue to barrel, with cleaned pitting at left side, 20% blue to straps and cylinder (esp. flutes), smooth gray frame, overall fine edges and clear markings. Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine, #407110, .30 WCF cal., 20" barrel with full-length magazine, blue finish, smooth gumwood one-piece straight grip stock, sling swivel eyes, Marble 94-C front sight with the rear removed and dovetail filled, unmarked period folding aperture sight added at the tang, color case hardened hammer and lever, saddle ring retained, clear factory markings with sharp Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and front ring. Mfg'd 1908. Carbine is in fine overall condition, retaining 80%-90% of the thinning factory finish. Barrel and magazine tube show light wear at the muzzle, minor marks and even thinning of finish. Receiver retains the majority of the thinning finish with edgewear, scratches, and the remainder drifting to gray patina. A newer leather thong has been added to the saddle ring. The lever and hammer display considerable original smoky color case hardening, especially in the protected areas. Stock is fine with indentations and bruising, lightly sanded, and an extra coat of varnish added during the period of use, with a good wood-to-metal fit. Butt ends with a smooth steel crescent buttplate which is slightly proud at the heel and toe, providing a 13" LOP. Bore is good with scattered light erosion and pinprick pitting, displaying strong defined rifling. Action functions well and locks up securely on this desirable carbine. Est.: $1,000-$1,500. Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless 2nd Model Double Action Revolver, #102168, .32 S&W cal., 3" ribbed barrel, blue finish, smooth mother of pearl two-piece grips, pinned blade front and fixed U-notch rear sights, with color case hardened trigger. Mfg'd 1902-1909. Revolver is in near fine overall condition, retaining approx. 85%-90% thinning finish, with holster wear at the muzzle, light pinprick pitting, and surface erosion. Barrel shows thinning finish along its length with scattered spots of corrosion. Cylinder shows leading edgewear and an index line on the cylinder. Trigger displays muted color case hardening. Grips are fine with flea bite chips at the top and a slightly larger chip at the top of the right panel. Action functions well, bore is very good with defined rifling. Est.: $300-$500. (C&R/PPT)**

Antique Smith & Wesson Model No. 1 Second Issue Spurtrigger Revolver, #21611, .22 RF cal., 3-3/16" barrel marked with maker's name and address in 1-line on top rib, tips up on top frame hinge. Plain round 7-shot cylinder is marked "Patented April 3, 1855. July 5, 1859 & Dec. 18, 1860." on circumference. Brass frame has integral spurtrigger sheath, flat-bottom straps and 2-pc. smooth ivory grips. Mfg'd 1860-68. Condition is near fine, retaining 50% thinning and darkening factory blue, 75% thinning silver (tarnished nearly black), fine edges and markings. Grips are sound and smooth with a .75" chip at lower right, pleasing color. Action is crisp, bore shows moderate roughness and fair rifling. Est.: $500-$800. (Antique)**

Frame has standing breech with barrel latch, separate trigger guard, integral saw-handle straps with 2-pc. checkered hard rubber grips having the "S&W" logo at top. Mfg'd 1883-1909. Condition is excellent retaining 90% factory nickel dulling in places, with spots of corrosion in cylinder flutes, sharp edges and markings. Action is crisp, bore is bright with fine rifling.
