WWII Era J.P. Sauer & Sohn Model 38H Semi-Automatic Pistol, #319530, .32 ACP cal., 3.25" barrel, blue finish, checkered composite two-piece Sauer marked grips, 8-rd. Sauer marked magazine, blade front and fixed U-notch rear sights, German eagle over "N" proofs at the right rear of the slide and frame. Lot includes a period russet brown leather flap holster in very good condition with an extra 8-rd. Sauer marked magazine. Mfg'd 1938-1945. Pistol is in fine overall condition, retaining 90%-95% thinning factory finish, with minor holster wear at the muzzle and even edgewear along the slide and frame. Left grip is very good and fits well, right grip is cracked at the grip screw. Bore is very good with strong rifling and minor frosting. Action functions well and locks up securely. Est.: $600-$800. Beretta Model 1934 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #437469, .32 ACP cal., 3.38" barrel, blade front and fixed rear sights, ring hammer, high-polish blue finish, textured plastic Beretta marked two-piece grips, lanyard loop, and blue steel unmarked magazine with finger extension. Lot includes a period gray leather flap police style holster with an extra unmarked magazine with finger extension, in very good condition. Mfg'd 1939. Pistol is in near fine overall condition, retaining 85%-90% high-polish blue finish, with even holster wear at the muzzle, along the slide and high point edge wear throughout. The slide has gone to a plum color. Front and rear grip straps show thinning blue finish. Markings are sharp with a crossed rifles emblem, "PSF" nitro proof mark, and dated 1939 at the left rear of the frame. Left side of slide is marked "PIETRO BERETTA CAL. 7.65 BREVETTATA/GARDONE V. T. 1939-XVII". No visible import marks noted. The textured plastic grips are very good and fit well. Action functions well, bore is good with scattered corrosion and strong rifling. Est.: $500-$700. Chinese Type 54 Tokarev Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two Magazines and Holster, #13005593, 7.62x25mm, 4.6" barrel, blued finish, black plastic grooved grips embossed with five-pointed stars on each side, blade front sight and fixed rear sight with U-notch, and lanyard loop. No safety lever. Both magazines are stamped with mismatched numbers on the floorplates (1393 & 0561). Condition for both is very good with wear and toning to the finish. The Chinese military brown leather holster is unmarked. Condition is fair with wear to the black corduroy lining and handling marks, cuts, and darkening to the exterior. All stitching and fittings are intact. A fair condition non-standard steel cleaning rod is mounted to the outside loops. Pistol is marked "13005593/66/1966" on left side frame with three characters for "54 Type/13005593" on top of slide. Condition overall is good, the metal retaining approx. 75% finish, which shows overall areas of fine pitting and patina. Grips are very good with scattered chips and handling marks. Unfortunately, the German waffenamt markings on the right side of the frame have been obliterated. Lot includes a period brown leather flap holster in good condition with creases and tight stitching, plus an additional 8-rd. unmarked magazine. Mfg'd from 1934-1939 only. Pistol is in fine overall condition, retaining approx. 90%-92% original finish drifting to dark patina, with holster wear, areas of light surface erosion and edgewear. Pistol also features a hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, and includes two (2) blued steel magazines. Both magazines are marked "P.38v" on the left side, one with "(eagle)359" waffenamt on the spine and the other "WaA135". Right side of slide is marked with Nazi eagle firing proof and two "(eagle)359" waffenamts. There is an additional "(eagle)359" waffenamt on left side of the frame. Matching numbers on the barrel, frame, slide, and locking block. No import marks. Includes a black leather softshell holster. Backside is marked with DLU (Ewald Lunenschloss) maker code and is dated 1944 with an "(eagle)WaA841" waffenamt, and "P38". Pistol is in very good condition. Approx. 80%-85% thinning and toning factory metal finish remains, showing moderate holster wear to the muzzle and edges of the slide, wear and toning to the front grip strap. Factory lettering and proof marks are clear. Grips show moderate handling wear, no cracks or significant blemishes. Action, hold open, and hammer drop all function properly. Bore is bright with well-defined rifling and rates very good+ overall. Holster is in fair condition, showing age and service wear. Exterior with scuffs, scratches, and some cracking. Pistol also features a hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, and includes two (2) blued steel magazines. Both magazines are marked "P.38" on the left side and have two "(eagle)359" waffenamts on the spine. Right side of slide is marked with Nazi eagle firing proof and two "(eagle)359" waffenamts. There is an additional "(eagle)359" waffenamt on left side of frame. Matching numbers on the frame and slide. Barrel and locking block have been renumbered to match. No import marks. Includes a black leather hardshell holster. Maker's marks and waffenamts on backside of the holster are worn and not legible. Pistol is in very good condition. Approx. 75% thinning factory metal finish remains, with the front grip strap having worn bright. There is holster wear visible to the edges of the slide and at the muzzle. Factory lettering and proof marks are clear. Grips show normal signs of age and light handling wear, the exception being a vertical scratch across the ribs on the right grip. Action, hold open, and hammer drop all function properly. Bore is bright with well-defined rifling and rates very good+ overall. Holster is in fair, serviceable condition. No cleaning rod is included. Original markings have been removed and spurious markings applied: "42/1933" to receiver ring and "eagle-swastika" proof stamps to left side receiver and barrel. New serial numbers have been stamped on the barrel, receiver, and bolt handle. Stock wrist has been sawed in two and a crudely fabricated folding hinge assembly installed. "(Eagle)/WaA03" marks have been added to the right-side buttstock with a reproduction stamp. Condition overall is fair to good as modified, the metal retaining approx. 40% of its applied cold blue finish. Wood has been sanded and stained, hinge operates and locks in place with effort. Post-WWII German Kar 98k Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #1980H, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock set with cupped buttplate, inverted "V" front sight with attached hood and adjustable tangent rear sight. A polished bright steel cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel, and a stained good condition reproduction leather sling is attached to the side. Marked "dot/1945" on top of receiver ring and "Mod.98" on left side receiver rail. There are post-war Czech Rampart Lion proof stamps on the left side receiver and barrel. Barrel is marked "dot/11" within a shield symbol and "45". Trigger guard marked with Mauser code "byf" and "(eagle)135". Matching number on bolt handle, no other parts numbered. Condition overall is very good as refinished, with the front of the trigger guard/magazine floorplate and both barrel bands showing almost all of a recent gray parkerized finish. The blued parts retain approx. 80% of their finish, and the buttplate and stock disassembly ring have been polished bright. Wood has been stained to a dark brown color and is now in very good condition with scattered handling marks. Action operates smoothly, bright bore rates as very good with very good defined rifling. Condition overall is good, the partially refinished metal retaining approx. 40% finish with toning to the barrel, bands and trigger guard assembly. Wood is good with an unfinished appearance and overall scratches and handling marks. Muzzle has been counter bored. A very good condition reproduction steel cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel. Rifle is marked "Mod.98" on left side receiver rail. A spurious "bnz 44" has been stamped into the top of the receiver ring, and an "eagle-swastika" and three "(eagle)WaA 623" marks have been stamped on to the barrel shank. Parts have been re-numbered to match. Condition overall is good. The metal has been partially refinished and now retains approx. 70% bluing, with patina to the buttplate. Condition of the wood is good. A serial number has been sanded off from the left side buttstock, and there are de-lamination cracks to both sides along with chips and handling marks to the forend. Magazine is a Czech contract type marked "WaA709/jvd" on the spine. Condition is very good with light wear to the finish. Black leather second type holster is a modern reproduction and stamped "gxy 1945/P38" on the rear. Condition is excellent showing light wear and use. Pistol is marked "P.38/cyq" on left side slide and "(eagle)88(acceptance)/eagle-swastika firing proof/(partial)(eagle)88(final acceptance)" on right side slide, with additional "(eagle)88" stamps on the left side frame, barrel, and right side locking block. Matching numbers on frame, slide, barrel, and locking block. Recent import marks have been ground off of the rear of the frame, and a post-war "sunburst" symbol is partially visible on the left side frame. Condition is very good, the re-blued metal retaining approx. 90% of this finish, now showing edgewear to the muzzle and front of the slide. Grips are modern reproductions and are in excellent condition. Action, hold open, and hammer drop safety all function properly; bright bore rates as very good with very good rifling. U.S. Property Marked Stevens Model 416 Bolt Action Target Training Rifle, #206353, .22 LR cal., 25" medium heavy barrel, blue finish, smooth walnut one-piece pistol grip target stock, sling swivels and nylon rifle sling, accessories rail, unmarked 5-rd. detachable box magazine, globe front sight, vacant sight block at the rear, Lyman Model 57WJS aperture sight at the rear of the receiver, clear factory markings, with a flaming bomb ordnance symbol on the barrel and "U.S. PROPERTY" on the left side of the receiver. Mfg'd 1941-1943. Rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining 96%-97% toning factory finish, with small marks and scattered light surface rust along the barrel. Receiver shows minor surface erosion and the bottom metal shows modest edgewear. Receiver has been drilled and tapped with an additional sight block added. Stock is fine with light indentations and minor marks. Buttstock ends with a ribbed steel buttplate, providing a 13.5" LOP. Bore is bright with well-defined rifling. U.S. Springfield Armory M1898 (Krag) Bolt Action Rifle, #214086, .30-40 Gov't cal., 30" unmarked barrel, left side of receiver is marked "U.S./MODEL 1898 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 214086", rear sight is a M1898 modified for later use. Most of the finish is gun metal gray, the barrel is patina and the buttplate has light rust. The finger groove stock lacks a cartouche but has the "(circle)P" proof behind the trigger guard and is in good condition, with handling marks throughout. The handguard is cracked behind the rear sight. Bayonet is marked "US", dated 1899, and shows darkening from use with nicks on the blade. Type 2 scabbard has patina over the blue and some scattered rust spots. Included is a Kerr "No Buckle" sling with stains and missing the metal keeper. Action works properly, dark bore shows pitting. Lot of Four (4) German WWI Model 1894 Hebel Leuchtpistole Single Shot Break-Open Flare Pistols, 26.5mm smoothbore cal., 9" round barresl with octagonal chambers, steel construction with blued finish, smooth hardwood grips and swiveling lanyard rings attached to butts. No sights. 1) #466. Marked "B.W." on left side frame, with crowned proof and inspection stamps on right side barrel and frame. Matching numbers. Hammer screw stem has broken off. Condition is fair, the metal partially cleaned, now retaining approx.10% finish, with patina spots. Grips are fair with bruises. Bore rates as poor with pitting. Action locks up and operates smoothly. 2) #37375. Marked "Gcbr.R" on left side frame, with crowned proof and inspection stamps on right-side barrel and frame. Matching numbers. Condition is fair, the metal retaining approx.10% finish, with darkening and patina. Grips are good with handling marks. Barrel is bent at the muzzle. Bore rates as fair with darkening. Action locks up and operates smoothly. 3) #44019. Marked "(circle)M" on left side frame, with crowned proof and inspection stamps on right-side barrel and frame. Matching numbers. Condition is fair, the metal retaining approx. 30% finish, with patina plus rust to the hammer. Grips are good with handling marks. Barrel is bent at the muzzle. Bore otherwise rates as good. Action locks up and operates smoothly. 4) #3839. Pistol is marked only with serial number on frame, no number on barrel. Condition is fair, the later-applied gold-colored finish mostly worn off the metal. Grips are good with handling marks. Bore rates as fair with darkening. Lot of Five (5) U.S. WWII Sedgley Single Shot Break-Open Flare Pistols, 37mm smoothbore cal., button releases, steel lanyard rings attached to butts, no sights: 1) #2418, 7.5" barrel, aluminum frame with steel barrel assembly, Impressed checkered grips with "S" logo in center. Marked "COSTON-SEDGLEY/PARACHUTE SIGNAL PISTOL" and "37MM". Mismatched number on barrel. Condition is very good, with toning to the aluminum frame and patina and frosting to the barrel. Bore rates as excellent. Action locks up and operates smoothly. Cord lanyard attached to ring. 2) #5996, 4.6" barrel, aluminum frame with steel barrel assembly, impressed checkered grips with "S" logo in center. Marked "R.F. SEDGLEY INC" on barrel. No number on frame. Condition is fair, with the aluminum frame showing overall battering and wear and patina to the barrel and frame. Bore rates as good with frosting. Action locks up and operates smoothly. 3) #18284, 8.1" barrel, black plastic frame with blackened aluminum barrel assembly, impressed checkered grips with "USN" logo in center. Marked "SEDGLEY SIGNAL PISTOL/MARK IV" on barrel. Mismatched numbers. Condition is good, with light wear to the frame and barrel. Bore has a few pitting spots, otherwise rates as good. Action locks up and releases stiffly but operates smoothly. Cord lanyard attached to ring. 4) #18525, 8.1" barrel, black plastic frame with blackened aluminum barrel assembly, impressed checkered grips with "USN" logo in center. Marked "SEDGLEY SIGNAL PISTOL/MARK IV" on barrel. Mismatched numbers. Condition is fair, with frosting and wear to the barrel assembly. Bore rates as poor with pitting. Release button has been removed from the frame and is stored in a separate bag. Action will not lock but the breech operates smoothly. Cord lanyard attached to ring. 5) #15601, 8.1" barrel, black plastic frame with blackened aluminum barrel assembly, impressed checkered grips with "S" logo in center. Marked "SEDGLEY SIGNAL PISTOL/MARK IV" and "4-29-44" on barrel. Matching numbers. Condition is poor, the metal showing overall rust frosting. Bore rates as fair with areas of oxidation. Lot of Two (2) Post-WWII West German Single Shot Flare Pistols, with one Holster, 26.5mm smoothbore cal., 6" barrels with octagonal chambers, break-open actions with lever releases, alloy frames with steel barrels and fittings. Checkered hardwood grips with lanyard recess on butts. No sights. Actions lock up and cycle smoothly. Both have matching numbers on frame and barrel and are import stamped on left side frame: 1) #6601. Marked "F.W.HEYM" on left side barrel and inner grip strap, with Shield and "Stick eagle" proof and inspection stamps. An Army "BUND" stamp has been defaced on the left side frame. Condition is good, with wear to the finish and impact marks to trigger guard. Bore rates as good with frosting and darkening. Grips are very good. 2) #704. Marked on left side barrel with "(eagle)(shield)", and "Shield 63" proof and inspection stamps. An Army "BUND" stamp has been defaced on the left side frame. Condition is good with wear and darkening to the finish. Bore rates fair with cleaned pitting. Grips are good with chips and wear. Black leather holster is unmarked and has an inner pocket for five flares. Condition is good with wear, scratches, and impressions. All fittings and straps are present. Est.: $300-$500/Lot. Browning/FN Model 1910/22 Semi-Automatic Pistol, Yugoslavian Contract, #42746, .380 ACP cal., 4.5" barrel, blue finish, checkered hard rubber FN marked two-piece grips, lanyard loop, blade front and fixed V-notch rear sights, with no visible import marks. Belgian proofs on the left side of slide, frame and left side of trigger guard; right side of slide is marked "BOJHO" and a second word in Cyrillic; top of the barrel bears the crest of the Yugoslavian Defense Ministry, with 9-rd. FN marked magazine with a non-matching serial number. Pistol is in very good overall condition, retaining 80%-85% thinning factory blue finish, with holster wear at the muzzle and along the barrel. There is scattered light pinprick pitting, particularly on the right side of the barrel. There are small areas of scattered light surface erosion and dried oil. Grips are very good with some flattening of the checkering and small mars. Action functions well, bore is very good with scattered minor roughness and defined rifling. Pistol was part of a group modified and sold by FN to the Yugoslavian military in 1922. The modifications included a longer barrel, larger frame and magazine. Est.: $500-$700. (C&R/PPT)

WWII German Camo Heer (Army) Single Decal M-35 Helmet. Entire shell has been painted in heavy sand textured white snow camouflage 35+% complete, with heavy chips and scratches on most of exterior and at dome top. Top of dome is darkened or burned. Heer (Army) decal with approx. 40% remaining has been painted around. Original wartime leather liner in complete poor, heavily worn condition is in place and has not been removed. Shoelace for drawstring is present. Inside of shell looks to be originally painted is Luftwaffe dark gray in poor condition. Shell stamped 'NS 6' and lot 'D N 5' with "Kiese" lettered in white paint on rear of skirt. Applied camouflage appears to be non-wartime applied. Est.: $200-$300.

Lot of Two (2) WWII German Helmets: 1) Camo Heer (Army) Single Decal M-40 Helmet. Entire shell has been painted in white for snow camouflage 40+% complete, with heavy rust, chips and scratches on most of exterior and at dome top. Heer (Army) decal with approx. 50% remaining. "ANZIO" is lettered in red paint across the front of the helmet, letters are about .75" high and barely visible due to age and weathering. Original wartime leather liner in complete very poor, heavily worn and soiled condition with original drawstring present. Inside of shell has been brush painted green and in poor condition. Shell stamped 'ET 64' and lot '3572' with "Eiche" lettered in white paint on rear of skirt. 2) Police Double Decal M-42 Helmet. Original green paint 70% with some surface rust, large scratches at top of dome and overall wear. Original bordered Police decal on left side of shell in 50+% condition with chips and scratches. Original Party shield decal on right side is 60% complete with large portion missing from forward edge. Original leather liner in complete mildly worn condition with some water damage and dryness, original drawstring in place, ink size stamp '55'. Chinstrap is present in worn condition with one tip broken off. Stamps in skirt show shell size 'ET 62' and lot number '2944', interior shows surface rust and heavy dirt. Est.: $250-$450/Lot.

Lot of Two (2) WWII German M-40 Helmets: 1) Heer (Army) Single Decal M-40 Helmet. Repainted inside and out with a medium green paint with complete 100% coverage, no scratches or wear. Replaced Heer (Army) decal 80+% with some rub wear. Replaced post-war Norwegian style dark brown leather liner in complete lightly worn condition. Non-original shoelace drawstring, reproduction brown leather chin strap. Shell size is marked 'ET 66' and no other visible markings or stamps. A completely repainted and relined reproduction WWII helmet. 2) German M-40 Helmet. Post-war specially decorated helmet, all of exterior has been over painted with gloss medium blue paint 50+% with one wide and two narrow white stripes running front to back, with scratches and wear on most of exterior, each side having 3" dia. decals in place, bright yellow with "MOTHER GOLDBLATT RACE&RALLYE ALLIANCE" lettered around the perimeter and a cartoon bird wearing a helmet and goggles in the center; decals in very good 80% complete. Internet search shows no results for this organization. Original tan leather liner in complete lightly worn condition with minor dryness and flaking, size stamp '56' and name 'Glode' on liner, no original drawstring. Chinstrap is not present. Shell size 'S 64'and lot number '1031'. Helmet appears to have been refurbished and decorated post-WWII for some type of sporting event. Est.: $250-$350/Lot.
