Composite Kar 98k Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #2962, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, laminated stock set with flat buttplate, inverted "V" front sight with reproduction attached hood and adjustable tangent rear sight. A bent, fair condition cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel. Original markings have been removed from receiver ring which is now marked with spurious "bnz./(single rune)/43".
