WWII German Contract Femaru 37M Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two Magazines and Holster, #50743, .32 ACP cal., 4.33" barrel, blued finish, hardwood grips with vertical grooves, inverted "V" front sight and fixed rear sight with V-notch, grip and lever safeties, lanyard ring, and two magazines with finger extensions. Magazine #1 is blued and stamped on the finger extension with a matching serial number and "P.Mod.37." on the floorplate. Condition is very good with light wear to the finish. Magazine #2 is bright with no serial number and "37M" on the floorplate. Condition is fair with dents and reshaping. The brown leather Theuermann style drop holster is stamped "cdc/43" on the rear and ink stamped "Nur fur Pistole 37 M/(Ung.)Kal.7,65(further markings unreadable)"under the flap. Condition is very good with scuffs and handling marks to the finish. All fittings and stitches are in place. Pistol is marked "P. Mod 37,Kal.7,65./eagle-swastika firing proof/jhv/43" on left side slide. There is an "(eagle)/WaA 173" stamp on the front of the left side trigger guard web. Matching number on barrel. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 85% finish, showing edgewear around the muzzle, and areas of wear, pitting, and patina to the left side slide and light patina to the front and rear grip straps. The right grip has a chip and a prominent horizontal scratch, otherwise both sides are very good with light handling marks. Bright bore rates very good with very good rifling; action, safeties, and hold open operate properly. No visible import marks. Est.: $900-$1,200. (C&R/PPT)

Beretta Model 1934 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #510798, .32 ACP cal., 3.38" barrel, blade front and fixed rear sights, ring hammer, high-polish blue finish, textured plastic Beretta marked two-piece grips, lanyard loop, blue steel unmarked magazine with finger extension. Lot includes a period gray leather flap police style holster with an extra unmarked magazine, in good condition. Mfg'd 1944. Pistol is in fine overall condition retaining 90%-95% high-polish blue finish with modest holster wear, light wear at the muzzle and scratches. The ringed hammer shows muted color case hardening. Markings are sharp with a crown over lion at the left rear of the frame. Left side of the slide is marked "P. BERETTA - CAL. 7.65-BREVETTATA/GARDONE V. T. 1944". No visible import marks noted. WWII German Spreewerk cyq P.38 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #8757x, 9mm, 4.9" barrel, blued finish, dark brown ribbed Bakelite grips, drift adjustable blade front sight and fixed rear sight with U-shaped groove. Pistol also features a hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, and includes one blued steel magazine. Lower portion of the magazine spine is marked "(eagle)88". Right side of slide is marked with Nazi eagle firing proof, and two "(eagle)88" waffenamts. There is an additional "(eagle)88" waffenamt on left side of the frame. A personal identification number has been lightly scratched into bottom of the frame, in front of the trigger guard. Matching numbers on barrel, frame, slide, and locking block. No import marks. Condition is good. Approx. 75% metal finish remains. Right side of the slide has some areas of mild pitting that was cleaned resulting in thinning/finish loss. There is some mild oxidation present on the barrel. Grips are very good showing moderate handling wear, no cracks, or significant blemishes. Action, hold open, and hammer drop all function properly. Bore is very good+, no visible frosting or erosion, rifling is clearly defined. Magazine shows age and wear that is consistent with the overall condition of the pistol. Est.: $500-$750. (C&R/PPT)

Composite German Kar 98k Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #2229D, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, laminated stock set with cupped buttplate, inverted "V" front sight with attached hood and adjustable tangent rear sight. A very good condition reproduction steel cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel. "Mod.98" on left side receiver has been partially re-engraved. Other original markings have been removed, and spurious "eagle-swastika"/ce/44" have been stamped into the top of the receiver ring, and "eagle-swastika" and "(eagle)280" have been stamped into the receiver and barrel shank. Metal parts have been re-numbered to match. A serial number has been sanded from the left side buttstock and a matching number has been stamped into the toe. Condition overall is good, the metal retaining approx. 40% finish, with parts showing areas of patina and pitting. Wood is good with de-lamination cracks to the wrist and recoil lug and chips to the toe. Bore is frosted forward of the chamber, otherwise rates as good, with very good defined rifling. Lot of Two (2) WWII Production U.S. M52 Brass-Framed Signal Flare Pistols

Lot of Two (2) WWII Production U.S. M52 Brass-Framed Signal Flare Pistols, 37mm/1.5", by International Flare Signal Co. of Tippecanoe, Ohio, and commonly referred to as the "M52", as these were part of the International No. 52 Marine Distress Signal Kit that was common issue for marine vessels of the era and contained red parachute flares, a watertight container, and an instruction card. 1) Marked "PT OCT 43" on the left side, indicating the mfg./penetrant testing date. Serial #21399 and marked "24" on the frame above the trigger. Bore is good, lightly rusted, but not deeply pitted. The original finish on the exterior of the steel barrel is in good condition. Action opens easily and the ejector is working. 2) Marked "PT MAY 45" on the right side, indicating the mfg. date. Serial #31778 and marked "1" and "2" on the frame above the trigger. The original finish on the steel barrel is in very good condition. Bore is very good, with some light rust, but no pitting. Action opens easily and the ejector is working. These two examples remain in their original uncleaned condition. There is no signs of recent handling and no dents on the barrels. The frames show appropriate aging and have not been cleaned. The brass is readily polished on these to make nautical decorations and many are found in such condition. Both pistols have 8" barrels, weighing 4.25 lbs. each, and have an overall length of 11.25". (22mm) cal., 6.5" smoothbore barrel, blue finish, no sights, one-piece checkered composite "USN" marked grips with lanyard ring missing. Top of barrel reads "SIGNAL PISTOL MARK 5 R.F. SEDGLEY, INC. 1942", embossed with white paint. Pistol is in near fine overall condition retaining considerable original finish, with wear at the muzzle, scratches and indentations. Grips are very good with scratches, scrapes and wear at the base. Bore is dark with visible corrosion and the action functions well, locking up securely. Lot includes a period OD green canvas cartridge belt and holster marked "SIGNAL PISTOL HOLSTER/Mk. 5". Condition overall is fair, the metal retaining approx. 30% finish, showing wear, darkening, and patina to the trigger guard and lever. Grips are good with wear and chips to the checkering. Radom VIS-35 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Holster, #K7408, 9mm, 4.7" barrel, phosphate finish, reproduction black plastic checkered grips embossed with "FB" and "VIS" logos on each side, blade front sight and fixed rear sight with V-notch. The single blued magazine is marked "(eagle)/189" on the floorplate. Condition is good with wear to the finish. The black leather holster is marked under the flap with partially visible "P35(p)" and a faint "eagle-swastika WaA 182" stamp. Condition is fair with overall wear and stains to the leather. All stitching and fittings are intact. Pistol is a Type 3 variation with no stock slot and made without the disassembly lever, marked "F.B.RADOM VIS Mod.35.Pat.Nr.15567" on left side slide with an "eagle-swastika" firing proof and a partially visible inspection stamp. There is an "(eagle)/625" stamp on the left side trigger guard. Condition overall is fair, the metal retaining approx. 50% finish, showing overall wear and patina with a cleaned area to the right-side slide. Reproduction grips are in excellent condition. Bright bore rates as very good with very good defined rifling. Magazine release on the frame is loose and the magazine will not lock in place. Factory markings are clear, all matching visible serial numbers, no visible import marks. Lot includes a period brown leather flap holster in good condition, with some loose stitching on the flap and two stripper clips in the front pouch. Mfg'd 1912. Pistol is in very good overall condition, retaining 85%-88% thinning factory finish, with holster wear at the muzzle, edgewear along the slide and frame, and scattered surface erosion. Lot of Two (2) WWII German Luftwaffe (Air force) Double Decal M-40 Helmets: 1) Repainted by brush in dark field gray paint 70+% complete, with moderate scattered surface scratches and rust. Luftwaffe (Air force) decal (looks to be non-standard and undersized) visible with approx. 30+% present showing much wear and has been applied over the brushed paint. National Tri-Color shield on right side approx. 70 % remaining also appears to be reapplied over repainted shell. Non-original Norwegian style dark brown leather liner has been reinstalled and is in very dry but complete condition - no drawstring. Brown non-original chinstrap that is in good condition is present with minor damage. Interior paint is in complete excellent condition, with no dome stamp present. Shell is marked "ET 64" and "170" lot stamp, no other stamps or markings are visible. Looks like paint and decals have been done post-war as reproduction. 2) Original factory applied dark gray paint in very good condition, approx. 85+% present. Original Luftwaffe (Air force) decal in poor condition with much of the wings scratched off 40+% visible. National Tri-Color shield on right side approx. 60% remaining, with scratches and chips - looks to be non-original. Original leather liner in complete mildly worn condition, showing some drying and dirt, fits loosely in helmet, rear rivet is missing, has '57' size stamp on liner finger. Original drawstring and chinstrap are present. Chinstrap shows much wear and has been stretched. Interior paint shows good coverage with little loss of original paint. Good dome stamp is present. Size stamp 'ET 64' and lot number '792' stamped in real of skirt, no other stamps or markings are visible. Est.: $250-$400/Lot.

Police silver toned bordered decal 65+% with rubbing and wear. Original Party shield decal on right side 65+%, discolored with age and several chips present. Original black ersatz leather liner in nearly mint condition with some mild drying and black original drawstring. Black ersatz/chamois dome pad in excellent condition and white shoelace drawstring. Has excellent condition black textured leather neck flap connected to the rear of the liner. Complete black leather chinstrap and fittings are present with '64' stamped on front. Maker emblem stamped in rear inside of skirt. No other stamps or writing present. Excellent light weight Police helmet in good collectible condition. 2) M-34 Lightweight Double Vented FeuerSchutzpolizei No Decal Helmet, with excellent flat satin black paint on interior and exterior with a few nicks and scratches in 90% complete condition. Excellent original light tan leather liner in nearly complete excellent condition, tan leather dome pad is present in like condition to the liner. Non original shoelace drawstring is in place. Complete excellent black leather chinstrap and fittings are connected to the liner band. No other markings visible. 3) M-35 "Beaded" Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK) German Red Cross Double Decal Helmet, with satin smooth dark gray finish, Paint is approx. 95% complete with small surface rust spots and scuffs. DRK (German Red Cross) decal 95% on left side showing minimal age and damage, National Party shield on right side approx. 80% remaining with staining over the shield. Liner is late-war original chamois/ersatz in nearly mint complete condition, has cork spacers where liner is attached to shell and '56' size stamp on a finger, original drawstring in place. Clear plastic chinstrap is attached and in near mint condition. Interior paint shows minimal wear and number '1734' stamped in skirt rear, with no other visible interior stamps or markings. Original brown leather liner in worn condition with some tearing, dryness and flaking, no chinstrap or drawstring. Lot of Two (2) German WWII Leuchtpistole 34 Single Shot Flare Pistols, with Holsters, 26.5mm smoothbore cal., 6" barrel with octagonal chamber, steel construction with blued finish, checkered hardwood grips with steel lanyard rings on butts. No sights. Break-open action with lever release. Matching numbers on frame and barrels: 1) #3390a. Marked "Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis(Thur.)/Walther Banner/1935" on left side frame with "(crown)B" and "U" proof stamps and "(eagle)4" inspection marks on the right side frame and barrel. Condition overall is fair, the metal retaining approx. 50% finish, showing areas of patina with cleaning and polishing to both sides of the barrel. Grips are good with flattening to the checkering and chips to the butt. Dark bore rates as poor with areas of pitting. Action locks up and operates smoothly. Black fiber holster is unmarked and in fair condition with stiffness, cracks, and handling marks. All metal parts have rust or patina. 2) #1890. Marked "Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis(Thur)/Walther Banner" on left side frame with "(crown)B" and "U" proof stamps and "(eagle)14 and 6" inspection stamps on right side frame and barrel. Post-WWII Czech-Made Kar 98k Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #5814J, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, laminated stock set with cupped buttplate, inverted "V" front sight with attached hood and adjustable tangent rear sight. A steel cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel, condition is fair with pitting and polished bright. Trigger guard is stamped oversize type. Rifle is built using leftover WWII and new-made Czech parts. Left side receiver rail marked "CESKOSLOVENSK ZBROJOVKA,A.S,BRNO", and top of receiver ring with "Mod.98/dou.45". There are Czech rampart lion firing proofs on the left side barrel and receiver. Barrel is marked with "dot/13 inside a shield/LV". Matching numbers except rear barrel band. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 80% finish, with areas of cleaned pitting to the right-side barrel, receiver, and safety lever. There are delamination cracks to the right-side buttstock, and cracks and chipping around the right-side recoil lug. Wood is otherwise good, showing impressions and handling marks to the even-colored finish. Action operates smoothly, bright bore rates as very good with very good defined rifling. German Kar 98k Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #2640B, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, laminated stock with cupped buttplate, inverted "V" front sight and adjustable tangent rear sight. Cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel, and a very good condition brown leather sling stamped "bad 42" on the keeper is attached. A good condition brass cover is fitted to the muzzle. Marked on top of receiver ring "dot/(eagle)63/1943" indicating mfg. at Waffenwerke Bruenn, BRNO. Intact Eagle stamps on left side barrel and receiver. Faint possible "DO" stamped on toe of buttstock. All matching visible numbers. Condition overall is good, the metal retaining about 60% finish, showing rust and patina spots across most surfaces with larger areas on the buttplate. Wood is very good with scratches and bruises to the now darkened finish. Action operates smoothly; bore has darkening forward of the chamber, otherwise bright with very good defined rifling. Hungarian Femaru Frommer Stop Pocket Auto Semi-Automatic Pistol, #90760, .32 ACP cal., 3.9" barrel, blue finish, vertically ribbed hardwood two-piece "FS" monogram grips, 7-rd. Frommer marked blue steel magazine, lanyard loop, grip safety, external hammer. Lot includes a period russet brown leather flap holster in good condition with a prior owner's name written on the back in fading ink. Mfg'd 1912-1945. Pistol is in very good overall condition, retaining 75%-80% thinning factory finish, with holster wear at the muzzle, even edgewear along the slide, and light pinprick pitting on both sides of the barrel. Straps and trigger guard show thinning finish, edgewear and spots of light rust. Markings are clear. Grips are very good with flattening of the ribs and the monograms are light. Bore is good with frosting and defined rifling. Action is sticky and would benefit from a thorough cleaning. Est.: $500-$700. (C&R/PPT)

WWII German Camo Heer No Decal M-40 Helmet. Entire shell has been brush painted in a heavily textured four-color camouflage - light greenish-tan, rust brown, medium apple green and black, 99% complete with no scratches or other surface damage. Shell has been totally repainted and originality of camo application does not look original. German style light brown leather liner has been reinstalled without the metal liner band, rivets are attached to a fiber band instead, and leather is in very good condition with size stamp '57' inked on liner. No chinstrap or drawstring is present. Inside of shell in has been painted in a pinkish-tan color in good condition. Size "ET 62" and "5152" lot stamps are visible thru the paint. Helmet has been totally restored and has non-original camouflage painting and liner. Est.: $200-$300.

Lot of Two (2) WWII German Heer Single Decal M-40 Helmets: 1) Original dark green untextured paint approx. 50%, exterior with major paint rubbed off, surface rust, scratches and nicks. Right side has Heer (Army) decal that is in very good almost complete condition. Original leather liner in very poor dry and flakey condition with much mildew, no drawstring. WWII leather chin strap present in very dry and poor condition. Interior is in overall very poor condition with much rust and corrosion. No visible markings. 2) Matte green paint is 85% complete over exterior, shows mild surface rust scattered light scratches and chips - overall very good. Original Heer (Army) decal 85+% complete, gold toned with a few scratches. Original WWII leather liner has been reinstalled showing splitting from liner band with other light damage, has shoelace for drawstring. Chinstrap is missing. Liner has '56' size stamp on leather. Moderate rust stains in top of dome interior. Shell marked 'ET 64' and '1014', no other markings are visible. Est.: $250-$450/Lot.
