High Standard Model A Semi-Automatic Pistol, #86566, .22 LR cal., 6.75" tapered barrel, blade front and square-notch adjustable rear sights, blue finish, checkered two-piece walnut grips, with one correct unmarked 10-rd. magazine. Mfg'd 1941. Pistol is in near fine overall condition, retaining 80%-85% factory finish, with wear at the muzzle and loss of finish along the barrel. There is edgewear, light surface rust and pinprick pitting on the frame and slide. Front grip strap has a mottled appearance with significant light pitting and the rear strap has gone to gray patina. Left barrel lug is marked "MADE IN U.S.A./HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP./NEW HAVEN CONN." The checkered walnut grips are very good with a good fit, showing some flattening of checkering. Hi-Standard marked magazine, and an extra 5.25" barrel with attached barrel weight. Mfg'd 1953. Pistol is in very good overall condition, showing moderate thinning and loss of finish on both sides of the barrel, with highpoint edgewear along the slide and frame. Rear grip strap has gone to gray patina, while the front strap shows thinning mottled finish. Pistol retains approx. 75%-80% thinning blue finish. Mfg'd 1940. Revolver is in fine overall condition retaining 90%-95% thinning factory finish, with light wear at the muzzle, scratches, and handling marks. Leading edge of the cylinder shows edgewear and a light index line. Markings are clear with a sharp Rampant Colt emblem at the left rear of the frame. Trigger and rear of the hammer display bright fire blued finish. Grips are very good and fit well. Bore is bright with well defined rifling. Mfg'd 1944. Pistol is in very good overall condition, retaining approx. 85%-90% factory finish, with small scratches on the barrel, thinning of finish and wear at the muzzle. Slide shows dents and edgewear, while the frame shows edgewear and scattered light erosion. Front sight has been painted red and white during the period of use. Left side of the slide is marked "HI-STANDARD/U.S.A. MODEL H-D", and the right barrel lug is marked "PROPERTY OF U.S." with the crossed cannons ordnance symbol. Grips are very good with some flattening of checkering and flea bite chips on the bases. Action is crisp, bore is very good with clearly defined rifling. Mfg'd 1902. Revolver is in good overall condition, the metal surfaces having gone to a mottled gray patina with scattered surface rust, erosion and pinprick pitting. Factory markings remain legible. Grips are very good with minor marks. Bore is fair with scattered corrosion and visible rifling. Action is sluggish and would benefit from a thorough cleaning. Colt Officer's Model Flat-Top Target Double Action Revolver

Colt Officer's Model Flat-Top Target Double Action Revolver, #333508, .38 Spec. cal., six-shot, 6" round barrel, blued finish to frame, barrel, front and rear sights and small parts while displaying a bright ejector rod, and traces of case colors to hammer and trigger. Factory checkered wood grips with Rampant Colt metal inserts into the top of each grip with yellow spacers and a smooth wood grip adapter. Special features include an adjustable trigger with adjustable front and rear sights, the backstrap is also factory checkered. There are serial numbers stamped on both the front frame flat and the cylinder lug with a factory inspector's proof on the left front trigger guard. Revolver is very good to near fine overall with approx. 80%-85% original blued finish showing scattered highpoint wear. The factory checkered wood medallion grips are overall good with old purposeful grooving of the front lower portion of each grip likely for finger support; the smooth wood grip adapter remains in very good condition being affixed to the front grip strap by an inset metal screw. Action is crisp although in need of adjustment; bore is fine to excellent. An example of a finely-made Colt Officer's Model Flat Top Target revolver made ca. 1904. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R/PPT)

Double set triggers. Brass scrolled trigger guard, crescent buttplate, sideplate, oval barrel wedge escutcheons. Three iron ferrules on lower rib retain the plain hardwood ramrod. Condition is good to very good, retaining most thinning blue to barrel/lock, brass parts have a gilded finish. Varnished oak halfstock has a major crack to rear of sideplate, smaller crack to rear of lock, else is sound and smooth. Rifle may include some antique parts. CVA Heavy-Barrel Percussion Rifle, #020442, .50 cal., 28" heavy octagonal barrel has maker's info and caliber at left angled flat, dovetailed open sights, threaded hole ahead of breech. Unmarked flat lockplate has hammer with long spur and "drum" bolster. Walnut halfstock has raised cheek rest, brass scrolled trigger guard, crescent buttplate, nosecap and two ferrules retaining the brass-tipped hickory ramrod. Double set triggers. Condition is good having two long copper reinforcement plates at either side of lock, light use and perhaps added age to appear antique. Action is crisp, bore is bright with sharp rifling. Reproduction Model 1873 Officer's Model Trapdoor Single-Shot Sporting Rifle, by Harrington & Richardson, #8367, .45-70 Gov't. cal., 26" round barrel has tall bead-blade front sight and folding tang rear sight. Trapdoor receiver has light scroll engraving, marked "U.S./Model/1873" at hinge. Walnut halfstock is checkered at the forearm and wrist, has a pewter nosecap, curved buttplate, metal-tipped hardwood ramrod. Condition is very good+ showing use marks and scrapes to wood and metal finishes, scattered minor spots of rust erosion to barrel blue, fine edges and markings. Action is smooth, bore shows blue and sharp rifling. Est.: $800-$1,200. (Modern/PPT)

Lot of Four (4) Reproduction Percussion Single-Shot Holster Pistols: 1) #10342, .36 cal., 10.5" octagonal barrel (marked "Mendi") and flat lockplate are laser engraved; smooth hardwood fullstock is checkered at grip, loop trigger guard, brass-tipped ramrod. In very good condition showing light rust, action functions, smoothbore shows overall erosion. 2) #2789, .45 cal., 10" octagonal barrel (marked "Jukar/Spain"), flat lockplate and hammer show simple engraving, with hardwood "bird's head" stock. In fine condition showing 90% barrel blue with light rust, bright brass fittings, smooth varnished stock. Action is crisp, clean bore has sharp rifling. 3) #2281, .45 cal., 10" octagonal barrel (marked "Ultra-Hi/Miroku"), flat lockplate with simple engraving, hardwood "bird's head" stock. Condition is very good, oxidized barrel has 85% blue, lock with case colors, bright brass fittings, stock with wear and use marks. Action is smooth, bright bore has sharp rifling. 4) #867, .45 cal., 9" round barrel (marked "Jukar/Spain"), flat lockplate and hammer with laser engraving, hardwood stock. In near fine condition with 80% dulling barrel blue, lock case colors, bright brass fittings, smooth varnished stock with minor marks. Action is crisp, bright bore has sharp rifling.
