Magazine Quantity & Condition: One 7rd .32 ACP magazines in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is Bright. The rifling is Sharp. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.

The slide and frame has thinning along the leading edges. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear and legible. Overall, this pistol rates in excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly; the slide retracts, the magazine drops free and the hammer and trigger operate correctly, although we have not test-fired this gun. The safety also functions as a decocking lever. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with one magazine, and the rare, correct RZM leather holster.

Our Assessment: The Walther PPK is one of those timeless designs that just seems to get better with age. In truth, this pistol is so well designed, and features so many innovative and useful features, that it is still considered one of the premier self-defense/pocket pistols available today. The RZM stands for Reichszeugmeisterei, the Party's central office responsible for overseeing and approving the production of uniforms, equipment, and other party-related items. This one is chambered in the useful .32 ACP Caliber, which, with modern loadings, makes a fine round for trail use, plinking, or even self-defense round, especially when no larger pistol will fit anywhere without showing. This one is in Excellent condition.

Walther Thuringia Model PPK 7.65mm .32 ACP SA/DA Semi-Automatic Pistol, 1938 C&R

Lot # 252 (Sale Order: 252 of 354)

Make: Walther

Model: PPK

Serial Number: 176395K

Year of Manufacture: Ca. 1938

Caliber: .32 A.C.P. (7.65mm Browning)

Action Type: Single or Double Action Semi-Auto with 7-Round Removable Magazine

Barrel Length: 3 1/4”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a low-profile blade integral to the slide. The rear sight is a “U” notch integral to the slide. The top of the slide has wavy serrations to reduce glare.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The one-piece grip is black & brown checkered composite that encloses the backstrap. The grip shows the usual minor warping, common to this material. On each side, the bolster around the grip screw has a tiny crack. There are a few other scattered minor marks. The checkering is well-defined. There are no chips. Overall, the grips are in about Excellent condition.

Type of Finish: Blue

Finish Originality: Original, the slide is serial-matching.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The finish is thinning at some edges, mostly at the leading edges of the slide. There is minor wear on the safety lever. There are a few other scattered minor marks and evidence of use. The screw head is lightly tool marked with a strong slot. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a single 7-round magazine with a pinky extension floorplate.

Our Assessment: Walther's original factory was located in Zella-Mehlis in the "Land" (state) of Thuringia. As that part of Germany was occupied by the Soviet Union following World War II, Walther fled to West Germany, where they established a new factory in Ulm. This is a .32 caliber Walther Model PPK made in 1938, near the beginning of WWII, at the factory in Thuringia. It is in Fine condition with roughly 97% original finish remaining. The bore is solid with sharp rifling. Walthers are known for their reliability. That said, they are also collectible. This example, in its high condition, would be a great addition to a Walther collection missing a pre-war commercial PPK. Please see our photos and good luck!

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore and no signs of pitting. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates at a 9.5/10.

There are some light spots of rust on the front sight base. The markings are clear. The rubber case deflector is in good condition. The screw heads are light to moderately tooled. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good to Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None.

Our Assessment: This Swedish Carl Gustafs AG m/42B Ljungman, chambered in 6.5x55 Swedish, is a historically significant semi-automatic battle rifle, developed by Sweden during World War II to provide its armed forces with a modern, self-loading service weapon. Manufactured in 1943 at the famed Carl Gustafs Stads Gevärsfaktori, the AG m/42B is notable for its direct impingement gas system and tilting breech block, a design that predates and likely influenced later rifles such as the French MAS-49 and even the U.S. AR-15. With its 25.5-inch ported barrel, this rifle is capable of excellent long-range accuracy, especially when paired with the flat-shooting, low-recoil 6.5x55mm cartridge, which is widely regarded as one of the finest military calibers of the 20th century. This particular example retains about 92% of its metal finish, showing only light thinning and honest wear along the high edges and contact points. The bore is exceptional, with a bright interior and sharp rifling, rating 9.5/10 in our opinion—indicative of both minimal use and excellent maintenance, likely during its arsenal refurbishment. All serialized components are matching, and the receiver bears clear Swedish markings, including the crown and "S.S." inspector's mark. The two-piece hardwood stock shows typical signs of handling, including scattered pressure dents, scratches, and minor chips, along with some cracks forming at the wrist, but remains structurally sound and retains much of its character. The rubber case deflector, a distinguishing feature of the B variant, is also present and in good condition.

For collectors of WWII and Cold War-era semi-automatic rifles, the AG m/42B Ljungman is an essential and increasingly scarce piece. Its innovative gas system, robust construction, and historical relevance place it among the most desirable C&R-eligible semi-autos on the market. While not as widely known as its contemporaries, the Ljungman is a unique engineering achievement and a cornerstone of Swedish military arms development. Whether added to a collection, used for vintage rifle competition, or simply appreciated for its advanced design, this rifle is a standout example of mid-century European military ingenuity.

As a noteworthy historical recognition, the Model 1847 Walker has recently been declared the official handgun of Texas by Governor Greg Abbott. Whether you are a dedicated collector of Colt revolvers, a historical firearm enthusiast, or a proud Texan, this Walker reproduction will undoubtedly be an impressive addition to your collection.

Martially Marked Colt Model 1861 Navy .36 Caliber Percussion Cap & Ball Revolver, 1893 Antique

Lot # 275 (Sale Order: 275 of 354)

"

Make: Colt

Model: 1861 Navy

Serial Number: 24650

Year of Manufacture: 1864

Caliber: .36 Caliber

Action Type: Single Action Revolver, 6-Round Cylinder

Markings: The top of the barrel reads “ADDRESS COL. SAM L COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA.” The left side of the frame is marked “COLTS PATENT.” The underside of the barrel, frame, trigger guard, and butt are marked with the matching serial number “24650.” The left side of the trigger guard is marked “.36 CAL.” The cylinder is marked with a “P,” giving us proof of its martial lineage.

Barrel Length: 7”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade. The rear sight is a V-notch cut into the hammer.

Grip Configuration & Condition: The revolver is fitted with two-piece wood grip panels. The wood has shrunken with age and displays handling and compression marks consistent with wartime use and storage. The grips remain solid and structurally sound, rating in Good condition for an antique.

Type of Finish: Blued

Finish Originality: Original

Overall Condition: This Martially Marked revolver retains about 5% of its original metal finish. The balance of the metal surfaces exhibits a patina consistent with its age and use. The screw heads are tool-marked, and the pins show signs of use. Despite this wear, the markings remain legible, preserving its historical authenticity. This revolver rates in Good overall condition for an antique.

Mechanics: The action does NOT function correctly. The loading lever is stuck, though the hammer, cylinder, and trigger function properly. We did not fire this revolver. As with all antique firearms, a thorough cleaning is recommended before handling.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None

Our Assessment: The Colt 1861 Navy revolver is widely regarded as one of the finest percussion revolvers ever produced. An improvement over the earlier 1851 Navy, the 1861 Navy featured a more streamlined, rounded barrel and loading lever, making it sleeker and more refined.

Chambered in .36 caliber, this model was highly regarded for its balance and accuracy. It was a favored sidearm among both Union and Confederate troops during the Civil War, seeing extensive battlefield use. Martially marked examples like this one are particularly desirable, as they were issued to military personnel, making them an authentic part of American history.

Manufactured between 1861 and 1873, the Colt 1861 Navy represents the peak of Colt’s percussion era, before the transition to metallic cartridge firearms. Collectors and historians alike recognize it as one of Colt’s last great percussion designs.

This particular revolver, produced in 1864, features martial markings, matching serial numbers, and a well-worn but honest patina that speaks to its battlefield use. While the loading lever is currently stuck, it retains a solid historical presence, making it a worthy candidate for restoration or display.

For collectors of Civil War-era firearms, Colt enthusiasts, or those looking to own a true piece of American history, this 1861 Navy is an exceptional find that embodies both the artistry and practicality of 19th-century firearms design. Good luck with your bid.
