Our Assessment:
The Kimber Stainless Pro TLE II is a premium-grade tactical 1911, specifically designed for law enforcement and self-defense applications. The Tactical Law Enforcement (TLE) series has earned a strong reputation for reliability, accuracy, and durability, making it ideal for duty carry, home defense, and personal protection.

What makes this particular example unique is its all-stainless steel frame, which Kimber only produced for a limited time before switching exclusively to alloy frames. Many Kimber enthusiasts view this as a downgrade, as the steel frame provides better durability, balance, and recoil management than the lighter alloy versions currently in production.

With its match-grade barrel, crisp trigger, and front-strap checkering, this pistol is an outstanding choice for those seeking a high-quality 1911 built for performance. It remains in Excellent condition, retaining 98% of its original finish, with only minor handling marks. The inclusion of both G10 grips and the original black rubber grips, as well as the original box and brochures, further enhances its collectability and value.

For those who appreciate a true steel-frame Kimber—a rarity in today’s market—this Stainless Pro TLE II is an exceptional find. Whether for collectors, competition shooters, or those looking for a top-tier defensive pistol, this 1911 is a standout choice.
