Condition: Good to fair. Light to moderate wear, stains, moth holes and tears.

Imperial German Prussian M1915 Kurassier Helmet. Nickel-silver plated steel helmet. Painted steel Prussian front plate, visor trim and removable top spike. Prussian and national painted cockades. Leather chinstrap. No liner. Stamped "JAGAR 1917 Berlin" on the lobster tail.
Condition: Good. Moderate wear, paint loss and oxidation. Repainted accessories and cockades.

Imperial German Prussian Infantry Reserve Officer Pickelhaube. Black leather hardshell with gilded brass visor trim, rear spine, fixed spike. Plated alloy Prussian Eagle front plate with Reserve Cross. Gilded brass chinscale strap. Prussian and National Officer cockades. Split silk liner. Leather sweatband. "58" hand written inside. No other visible marks.
Size: 58
Condition: Fair. Moderate wear. Shell is partially caved, scratched and cracked. Missing one retention screw and top star. Liner has stains. Trim has oxidation.

Imperial German Prussian Infantry Officer Pickelhaube. Black leather hardshell with gilded brass visor trim, rear spine and fixed spike. Officer Prussian cockade. Prussian front plate and chinscale strap. Leather sweatband, no liner. No visible marks.
Condition: Poor. Heavy wear. Top dome is torn and caved in. Visor trim is loose. Shell is cracked. No extra holes. For restoration.

Imperial German Prussian EM/NCO Jager Shako Hat. Black leather and felt construction. Steel Prussian front plate. White cotton with black felt center cockade. Modern replacement chinstrap and painted cockades. Five-tongue leather liner with partial drawstring present. No visible marks.
Condition: Good. Moderate wear. Leather is dry and cracked throughout.

WWI US M1918 "LIBERTY BELL" EXPERIMENTAL HELMET

WWI US M1918 "Liberty Bell" Experimental Combat Helmet. OD green shell with no visible marks or stamps. Lacquered cloth and wool liner with alloy band. Web chinstrap. The M1918 "Liberty Bell" Helmet was designed by Major James E. McNary as an upgrade over the M1917 "Doughboy" helmet, offering better ballistic results as well as added protection to the back and sides of the neck. Out of all the experimental helmets of the period this was the only one accepted by the US Military. However, it was heavily disliked by the troops and due to the end of the war being in sight the project was abandoned. Throughout its development there were 1,000-2,000 of these helmets produced until the project was ended.

Condition: Good. Light rust and oxidation. Liner has small flakes in the lacquered cloth. Scuff marks on the exterior.

Size: Liner: 58. Shell: 68.
Provenance: Purchased from Brian Maederer in 1997.
Condition: Very good. Paint wear on the exterior. Leather is still soft and pliable. Liner has loose stitches on the right side.

WWII German Afrika Korps Luftwaffe M38 Fallschirmjager Combat Helmet. Luftwaffe tan and green pattern camouflage painted exterior. "ET68" and "920" stamped on the interior. Complete leather liner and chinstrap, maker ink stamps of Heilser, Berlin and F.W. Muller Jr. present.
Size: Liner: 57, Shell: 68
Provenance: Purchased by the consigner from Brian Maederer in 1988.
Condition: Good. Heavy paint wear. Moderate oxidation. Liner and chinstrap are slightly dry but still pliable. Liner has some stains. Chinstrap is torn and has been previously repaired.
