Smith-Corona U.S. Model 1903-A3 Bolt Action Rifle, #4763770, .30-06 cal., 24" barrel, parkerized finish, walnut stock, blade front sight, and adjustable peep rear sight. Receiver is marked "U.S./SMITH-CORONA, MODEL 03-A3/4763770". Barrel is marked "S C/(flaming bomb)/4 43" with a "P" underneath. All parts appear to be Smith Corona except the bolt and "RP" marked butt swivel. Arsenal re-parkerizing is approx. 90% with wear and rust on the buttplate. Stock has a faint boxed "FJA" with crossed cannons on the left and a circled "P" behind the trigger guard. Four factory symbols are in front of the magazine. Stock was sanded and is very good, with scrapes at the lower band. Action works properly. Four-groove bore is excellent. No visible import marks. Est.: $700-$1,000. (C&R)...more

Winchester U.S. Model 1917 Bolt Action Rifle, #295516, .30-06 cal., 26" barrel, blued finish, walnut stock, blade front sight with ears, and rear peep sight. Receiver has a rounded notch in front to accommodate the Norwegian stripper clip adapter, used by both Norway and Denmark. Receiver is marked "U.S./WINCHESTER/MODEL OF 1917/295516". Five-groove barrel is marked "W/Flaming bomb/5-18". Blued finish is approx. 80% with wear on the bolt, trigger housing, front sight, and buttplate. Stock has two "(eagles)", one in front of the magazine, one behind the trigger guard, and a "W" at the tip. Stock is in good condition with many dents from use throughout. Remington U.S. Model 1903-A3 Bolt Action Rifle, #4143070, .30-06 cal., 24" barrel, parkerized & blued finish, walnut stock, blade front sight, and adjustable rear peep sight. Rifle has the original finish and correct parts. Receiver is marked "U.S./REMINGTON/MODEL 03-A3/4143070". Two-groove barrel is marked "RA/Flaming bomb/9-43" with a "P" underneath. Parkerized receiver and barrel and the blued parts are approx. 90% with light wear on the front of the barrel, bolt, and buttplate. Stock is marked "RA(Crossed Cannons)FJA" on the left side, with a "P" behind the trigger and four symbols in front of the magazine. Stock is in very good condition, showing light wear. An "OG" (Ogden Arsenal) is stamped on left side of the buttstock. After the war Ogden uncrated factory new rifles, cleaned them, and prepared them for storage. No visible import marks. Receiver is marked "U.S. RIFLE/CAL. .30 M1/SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/3042094". Barrel is marked "S-A-5-51" under the op-rod. No visible import marks. In very good overall condition, retaining approx. 90% parkerized finish, with slight wear on the bolt and receiver rails. Stock is marked with an opened box "SA" cartouche under the cheek pad and two circled "P" proofs at the pistol grip. The number "094" is stamped on top of both handguards. Wood is good with mostly moderate dents and scratches scattered throughout. Cheek pad is marked "MRT 2 52" and in good used condition. Scope and mount are not included. Action operates smoothly. Johnson Automatics Model 1941 Semi-Automatic Rifle, #B6730, .30-06 cal., 22" barrel, parkerized finish, walnut stock, metric rear peep sight, and blade front sight with ears. An unmarked European canvas sling is attached. Receiver is marked with patent dates and "CAL. .30-06 SEMI-AUTO / "JOHNSON AUTOMATICS" / MODEL OF 1941 / MADE IN PROVIDENCE R.I. U.S.A. / B6730" on the top and a triangular "Cranston Arms Co." symbol on the right side. Barrel is marked "41" on the front ring. Overall condition is good. Receiver finish shows wear from use with a mixture of Parkerizing and patina. Heat shroud has a light patina, and the barrel is mixed blue with patina. Stock set is solid but shows use with scrapes and dents throughout, heavier on the right side of the buttstock. Action operates smoothly but the bolt hold does not work. Bore is good with clear rifling, and light pitting. The Johnson rifles were contracted by the Netherlands but due to the war the entire order could not be shipped. Slide has patent dates to FEB 14, 1911 with Colt factory markings on the left and "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY" on the right side. Rampant Colt logo is at the left rear and not circled. Slide has patent dates to Aug. 19, 1913, "(Rampant Colt)" logo, with the Colt factory markings on the left side and "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBER .455" on the right side. Gorton) on the left and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY/No 705812" on the right side. Checkered walnut grips are very good. Barrel is marked "HP". Slide has patent dates to AUG. 19, 1913, "(Rampant Colt)" logo, and Colt address on the left ; "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY" on the right side. The first M1911A1 pistols used the M1911 marked slides. Blued finish is approx. 92% with scratches near the slide stop, top of barrel was polished white, and there are pinprick rust spots on front of the grip area. Action works properly. STEVENS ARMS COMPANY/DIVISION OF SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION/CHICOPEE FALLS MASS. U.S.A." followed by "PROOF TESTED -12 GA/2 3/4 INCH CHAMBER" on the left side. Blued finish is approx. 65% with wear on the front of the barrel and magazine tube. Stock has a boxed "RA-P" (Raritan Arsenal rebuild) on the pistol grip and is in very good condition, except for a 2" crack on the right side, and two nail holes on the bottom near the butt-plate. Receiver, Lyman sight, top of the bolt body, trigger housing have spots of light surface rust. Finish on the National Match buttplate and barrel are both very good. Rock Island Arsenal U.S. Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle, #313018, .30-06 cal., 24" barrel, parkerized finish, walnut stock, blade front sight, and M1905 rear sight. An early M1907 leather sling in good condition is attached. Receiver is marked "U.S./ROCKISLAND/ARSENAL/MODEL 1903/313018". Barrel is marked "RIA/Flaming bomb/10-18" with a "P" underneath. Rock Island Arsenal started parkerizing rifles in March 1918. Parkerizing on this rifle is approx. 85%, with light high point wear, heavy on the buttplate. Finger groove stock has a boxed "AAJ" on the left, with a circled "P" behind the trigger guard, and "7-9" is stamped in the handguard groove. Stock is very good with scattered handling marks, heavier at the buttplate tang. A nickel oiler with a brush and pull through is stored in the butt trap. Action works properly. Bore is very good. A very good Canadian marked canvas sling dated 1913 is attached. Receiver is marked "U.S./EDDYSTONE/MODEL OF 1917/532973". This is a lend-lease rifle that ended up in Canada, and the bolt is serial numbered to the receiver. Barrel is marked "E/(flaming bomb)/4-18". Original blue is approx. 80%, with wear on the bolt and buttplate. Finger groove stock has a "U/(eagle)" inspection stamp behind the trigger guard and a Canadian "(Broad Arrow)" with "AAR/60" stamped on the right side. A solid M1887 sling marked "EHS" with spots of crazing is installed. The receiver is marked "U.S./MODEL 1896 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 82059". Condition is very good. The original blue finish is light overall from use and the buttplate has light rust. Stock has a boxed "JSA/1897" cartouche on the left side with "P" proof behind the trigger guard. Stock is solid but was sanded and varnished showing scattered scratches. There is a " black stain at the buttplate area. Action functions properly. Bore is good with light frosting.
