Antique German Made Exposed Hammers Side-by-Side Shotgun, #NVSN. 12 ga., 31-1/4" twist steel barrels have a solid rib with maker's name, Georg Greiss in Munich, 2-5/8" chambers, and are choked Cyl/Mod. Action is opened by an underlever that moves to the right, allowing easy loading. Back-action hammers are correctly mounted, one hammer replaced, and are activated by double triggers. Receiver side locks and top tang are elaborately engraved with game scenes surrounded by floral designs. Splinter forend, straight grip buttstock, and lower wooden grip assist are oil-finished walnut, adequately checkered with right hand cheekpiece, metal buttplate, and sling swivels attached. Mfg'd late 1800's. Condition is antique very good, showing much field use and resultant marks to wood, nominal wear to engraving, and acceptable wear to barrel lockup; bores show clean but there is evidence of pitting. Antique Engraved Parker Brothers American Side-by-Side Double Barrel Shotgun, #39438, 10 ga., 30 Damascus steel barrels marked Parker Bros Makers, Meriden, Conn. Damascus...more Steel. and flanked by feathered arrows. Double set triggers. Originally with browned and case hardened finish. Original varnished pistol-grip stocks of European walnut are nicely figured and checkered at wrist and forearm. Checkered hard rubber buttplate with Parker Brothers and dogs head logo in high relief, with hard rubber pistol grip cap. Fine floral banknote style engraving appears on receiver, breech, twin hammers, lockplates, barrel release lever, receiver tang, and forearm fittings; a long-billed water bird (grebe) is engraved within a wreath on receiver bottom; Parker Bros is hand-engraved on both lockplates; Patd Mar 23, 1875 is stamped in tiny letters on front trigger guard tang. Typical of Parkers early guns, this one is unmarked as to quality but is one of their better grades. Matching numbers on the trigger guard tang, barrel locking lug, and inside of beavertail forearm. Condition is fine retaining most original barrel browning, much case hardening to other metal parts, sharp engraving and clear markings. Stocks are lovely having most original varnish and sharp checkering, a few minor dings from use but show very well. Crisp tight action, bores are bright and clean. Fine shotguns bearing the legendary Parker name are widely considered to be the very best in American made arms; this one has quality, condition and rarity and is assuredly a prize. Very Late Savage/Fox A Grade Side-by-Side Shotgun, #303794, 16 ga., 28" solid concave rib steel barrels have 2-3/4" chambers and are choked Full/Full. The Fox boxlock action features Greener crossbolt lockup, double triggers, automatic safety, and plain extractors. Receiver tangs, opening lever, and forend iron are nicely engraved with the "Ansley H. Fox" name on both sides of the gun, surrounded by ornate floral patterns showing its higher grade. Splinter forend and pistol grip buttstock are oil-finished "C" grade walnut, with sufficient checkering done at 20 LPI, a checkered black grip cap, and a black plastic buttplate fitted. Stock dimensions are 14-3/8" x 1-5/8" x 2-5/8". Mfg'd in 1938 by Savage Arms in Utica, NY, using Fox Designs. Condition is good to very good, showing approximately 30% case colors on the receiver. Philadelphia PA, USA" and are choked Mod/Full. The action utilizes a Greener cross-bolt lockup, and features double triggers, automatic safety, and plain extractors. Receiver and top tang are case-hardened and nicely engraved. Splinter forend and straight grip buttstock are oil-finished "B" grade walnut, with adequate checkering and black plastic buttplate. Stock dimensions are 14-5/8" x 1-1/4" x 1-3/4". Made originally in 1926 but may have had a refurbishment at some point. Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Standard Grade Shotgun

Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Standard Grade Shotgun, #69310, .410, 28" vent rib barrel has an after-market Simmons rib that extends 2-3/4" into the top of the receiver, a 2-1/2" chamber, target beads, and Skeet choke. The slide action is a scaled down model 12 version with the same takedown feature. Replacement forend is a brown "B" grade satin finished walnut, and the pistol grip buttstock is "C" grade walnut with oil-finished striking grain. Both have very nice hand checkering at 20 LPI; there is a black duck grip cap, and a Pachmayr "White line" recoil pad installed. Stock dimensions are 14-1/2" x 1-5/8" x 2-1/4". Originally mfg'd in 1948, the gun had a nice restoration, particularly on the receiver, with deep blue on the sides and bottom and flat black on top to merge with the vent rib. Condition is therefore excellent as restored, with smooth action cycling and good balance. The bolt closes tight and ejects well; bore has some powder residue but no evident pitting. Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Skeet Shotgun, #802259, 12 ga., 26" barrel, has a 2-3/4"chamber and is fitted with a vent rib, which has an ivory bead front sight and small silver bead mid-sight and extends over the receiver for 3.25". Forend and pistol grip buttstock are walnut, with thorough Winchester diamond pattern checkering, plain black composite grip cap, and a vented brown rubber Mershon "White Line" recoil pad. Stock dimensions are 13-7/8" x 1-3/8" x 2". Bottom of the frame is marked "SKEET". Choke is marked on left side of the barrel "WS-1". There are Winchester "WP" proofs on left side of the barrel and receiver, below the rib, although the proof on the barrel is a little larger. Barrel is numbered and matches the receiver but was done later. Receiver was mfg'd 1938. Condition is very good+, retaining approx. 90% blue, likely with some degree of refurbishment. Showing areas of thinning along the barrel, trigger guard has worn to gray, with scattered salt/pepper pitting and specks of oxidation along both sides of the receiver. Wood with scattered small marks from handling and use; and at least the buttstock having been refinished. Recoil pad is soft and pliable but fits slightly proud. Action is crisp and cycles smoothly. Slender forend and pistol grip buttstock are "C" grade walnut, oil finished, extensively checkered at 24 LPI, and featuring a red buttpad. Stock dimensions are 14-5/8" x 1-1/2" x 2-1/2". There are two pairs of barrels with forends; 12 ga. with 26-1/2" vent rib barrels, 2-3/4" chambers, target beads, choked SKT/SKT; and a 20 ga. pair with 26-1/2" vent rib barrels, 3" chambers, target beads, choked SKT/SKT. There are also two pairs of Purbaugh full length tubes in 28 ga. and .410, with custom ejectors and installation tool. The superposed action features a single selective, mechanical trigger, non-automatic safety, and auto-ejectors. Silver gray receiver is profusely engraved by "J. Baerten" with duck and pheasant game scenes, surrounded by elaborate rose and scroll engraving on the bottom, trigger guard, forend iron, top tang, and opening handle. Finger-groove beavertail forend and replacement pistol grip buttstock are high gloss C/D grade European walnut, with extensive checkering at 24 LPI, no flat grip cap, and a Pachmayr "White Line" trap buttpad installed. Stock dimensions are 14-1/4" x 1-5/8" x 1-7/8". All gun, barrels, tubes, and accessories are contained in a brown Naugahyde hard case made by Purbaugh, with purple velvet lining. Mfg'd in 1968 as two-gun set. Condition is near excellent, retaining approx. 95%-96% factory blue. Wood with only a small amount of minor handling marks. M. Magis Engraved Browning Superposed Pointer Grade Over/Under Trap Shotgun, #90120. 12 ga., 32" barrels have a Broadway ventilated rib, 2-3/4" chambers, and are choked IM/Full. The superposed action features a single selective, inertial trigger, non-automatic safety, and auto-ejectors. Silver gray receiver is elaborately engraved by "M. Magis" with a pointer on one side and a setter on the other, with game scenes on the bottom and trigger guard, and scroll engraving on the forend iron opening lever and top tang. The beavertail finger-groove forend and non-Monte Carlo pistol grip buttstock are high gloss of C/D grade European walnut, with thorough checkering at 22 LPI on the forend and 20 LPI on the full pistol grip, simulated ivory checkered grip cap, unengraved oval plaque, and a "White Line" Pachmayr trap pad fitted with spacers. Stock dimensions are 14-3/4" x 1-1/2" x 2-1/8". Mfg'd 1961. Condition is near excellent, showing a probable buttstock replacement with tighter pistol grip and extended recoil pad. The forend is a bit loose and the latch sometimes releases during opening; this should be curable by a thorough cleaning, other than that, there are minimal handling marks to the deluxe wood, and little wear to the action, which functions correctly; bores are mirror bright. The action is standard Auto-5, but the silver gray receiver is elaborately engraved with pointing scene on the right hand side and setter pointing ducks on the left hand side. Engraved words are "Original Auto 5 Sweet Sixteen Made In Belgium" and "Limited Series of Last 100". Back of the receiver is hand numbered "51/100". Slender finger groove forend and round knob/long tang buttstock are satin finished "C" grade European walnut, and feature very fine checkering, and original FN/Browning Automatic black buttplate. Stock dimensions are 14-1/2" x 1-3/4" x 2-1/2". Condition is excellent, appearing near new. Wood and metal have very few marks. Action is standard BT-99, with single gold trigger, no safety, and single selective ejector. Receiver has been fully scroll engraved, with gold inlaid game scenes on both sides surrounded by ornate floral engraving that carries on to the operating lever, top tang, and breech end of the barrel. There is also a gold inlaid and framed initial set "MLW" on the bottom of the trigger guard. Beavertail forend and pistol grip buttstock are exhibition grade walnut, with checkering at 20 LPI, high gloss finish, carved grip cap, and "TrapDude.com" soft recoil pad. Stock dimensions are 14-5/8" x 1-3/8" x 1-3/4". Mfg'd in Japan originally in 1974. Comes with hard case. Condition is near excellent as customized, with almost no handling marks to the wood, and minor wear to the action, which closes very tight, and functions well; action tends to release the ejector upon opening, but this should be repairable by a qualified gunsmith. Blued receiver shows standard light scroll engraving on the sides and Krieghoff logo on the bottom. Beavertail forend and pistol grip buttstock are of oil finished "B" grade walnut with skip-line checkering on both forend and grip and featuring a White-Line grip cap, and Pachmayr skeet style recoil pad. Stock dimensions are 14-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 2". Mfg'd 1975 in Ulm, Germany, and imported by Victor Brandl, Miami, FL. Gun and all barrels, serial numbered to the receiver, are contained in a heavy-duty Italian aluminum case, including tools and extra parts. The 3200 boxlock action features a single selective mechanical trigger, non-automatic safety, very fast lock time, and selective ejectors. Receiver is engraved with a pointer and setter, both surrounded by laurel leaves. Finger-groove beavertail forend and pistol grip buttstock are of high-gloss "B" grade walnut, with sufficient checkering at 20 LPI, a checkered wooden grip cap, and black Pachmayr "White Line" recoil pad. Stock dimensions are 14-5/8" x 1-1/2" x 2-1/8". Mfg'd approx. 1978. Condition is very good showing much use in skeet competition, with many small handling marks to the wood and moderate wear to the action, which still closes tight and functions correctly; bores are smoky but not damaged in anyway. Pair of barrels #1 are 28" long and are choked Mod/Full; Pair #2 are 26-1/2" long, have a center bead, and are marked IC/IM, but measure to IC/IC. The superposed action features a single selective inertial trigger, non-automatic safety, and auto ejectors, Receiver is dark blue with moderate scroll engraving on sides, trigger guard, top & bottom tangs. Round knob, long tang (RKLT) buttstock are oil-finshed, blond-toned, European walnut, with thorough checkering at 20 LPI and a reddish Pachmayr "Old English" recoil pad fitted. Stock dimensions are 14-1/4" x 1-1/2" x 2-1/4". Mfg'd 1958. Condition is excellent, with only a few handling marks to the wood and very light wear to the action, which open and closes very tight and functions perfectly. Receiver, tangs, operating lever, and forend iron are all case hardened with light scroll engraving present; "CZ Sharp-tail" logo on receiver bottom. Beavertail forend and pistol grip buttstock are satin-finished "B" grade walnut, with adequate checkering and a black skeet buttpad fitted. Stock dimensions are 14-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 2-3/8". Mfg'd approx. 2015. Condition is like-new, showing almost no wear to the case hardening and slight wear to the receiver breech face. Forend and buttstock are likewise nearly perfect. Condition is fine, with few handling marks to wood, and little field use to the action, which closes tight and usually functions correctly. The Browning boxlock action features a single selective, inertia block trigger, non-automatic safety, and selective ejectors; receiver is moderately engraved. Slender forend and round knob long tang (RKLT) buttstock are oil-finished "B" grade walnut with thorough checkering at 22 LPI and an original Browning horn buttplate. Stock dimensions are 14-1/2" x 1-3/4" x 2-1/2". Contained in a Browning brown Naugahyde hard case, which includes an instruction manual and lifetime warranty. Mfg'd 1958. Vintage German Thiene & Sihiegelmilch of Suhl Underlever Hammerless Drilling, #27742, 16 ga. over 9.3x72r cal., 26.75" barrels with full-length rib, blue and color case hardened finish. Receiver displays light scroll engraving and etched screw heads. Finely checkered walnut two-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivels, beaded cheekpiece, triangular forend with Deeley lever release. Also featuring extractors, double triggers, tang safety, loaded chamber indicators, stalking safety, steel bead blade front and single-leaf folding rear sights. Maker's marks are clear, barrels are marked "NITRO" under the forend with numerous German proofs and acceptance marks. Mfg'd in the early 20th century. In very good overall condition, displaying approx. 50%-60% thinning blue finish drifting to patina on the barrels, with wear at the muzzles, and areas of light surface erosion. There is a small dent approx. 2" from the muzzle on the right barrel. Receiver shows silvered color case hardened finish with light scratches, some dried oil, scattered spots of erosion, and the underlever shows some light surface rust. Stock shows moderate to heavy use, with flattening and smoothing of the checkering and minor indentations. Buttstock ends with a checkered horn buttplate that has minor insect damage around the edges, providing a 14" LOP. Action functions well and locks up securely.
