A unique collection of 3 cowboy chairs. The guernsey print cream with brown spots vinyl fabric is seen on seat and back of chair. Vinyl is secured with upholstry tag nai...morels. The bottom of the chairs is marked #06214. There are brass cuffs on the feet of the front two legs. Brown painted wood legs are slightly distressed with dings and chips in paint. Manufactured by Phoenix furniture co., Sheboygan, WI, probably dating in arts and crafts time frame. 17" x 16" x 19.5" each.

The wooden box/crate is in goo...mored condition (7.5" x 9.75" x 5.5"). The primitive small wooden stool is a representive sample of a homemade item-the nails are even visible. The dark green/black paint shows wear but that's the look for a rustic stool (15.5" x 6.5" x 8").

The Munising wooden bowl of the 1930 and 1940's was a valuable asset in any farmhouse. The Munising bowl was created by the Munising Woodware Factory in Upper Peninsula, Michigan in the early 1900's (13.25" x 12.25" x 3.5"). The name Munising is derived from the Native American word "Island in the Lake", referring to Grand Island-visible in the harbor. Munising, MI produced a wide variety of these valuable bowls starting at over $100.00.
