Hungarian Model 1937 Semi Automatic - Cal. .32 ACP (Kal. 7.65) - Mfd. under German Occupation from 1937 to end of WW II -- Waffenamt marked. The Model 1937 is an improved version of the Model 1929, with a grooved slide to make cocking easier. It was adopted as the M1937 by the Hungarian Military, and in 1941 the German government ordered 85,000 pistols chambered for 7.65mm to be used by the Luftwaffe. These pistols were designated the "P Mod 37 Kal 7.65", and is so marked on left side of slide. They were also marked "jhv" which was a German code - serial # 19130
