Remington Model 1858 Revolver 

Lot # 252 (Sale Order: 251 of 761)      

.44 cal., 8" barrel, S/N 54488. Two-piece walnut grips. 

Condition: Very good condition with a very good to near excellent bore. The barrel and loading lever retain ca 40% original thinning blue finish while the frame retains traces in the protected areas. The grips are very good but have been lightly sanded.

Sharps Pepperbox Deringer 

Lot # 253 (Sale Order: 252 of 761)      

.22 cal., 2.5" barrel, S/N 25205. Brass frame, blue barrels, gutta percha grips. 

Condition: Very good condition with fair but pitted bores. The barrels retain ca 30% original blue finish and the brass frame has a nice mustard colored patina. The grips would rate very good but the left panel has a repaired crack.

Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Sheffield England Bowie Knife 

Lot # 254 (Sale Order: 253 of 761)      

8.75" blade, brass hilt, stag handles blade marked Joseph Rodgers & Sons, G Norfolk St. Sheffield and A Sure Defence in a riband surrounded by scroll engraving; tang and brass liners are nicely engraved. 

Condition: Excellent condition with an unsharpened blade. There are a handful of minor rust spots on the blade and no scabbard is present.

Belgian Copy of a Colt 1878 Double Action Revolver 

Lot # 255 (Sale Order: 254 of 761)      

.44 caliber, 6.25" barrel, no S/N. Hard rubber grips, blue/cc finish. 

Condition: Very good condition with a very good but dark bore. The hard rubber grips are excellent. There are traces of case colors on the frame and nearly all of the barrel blue is intact. The revolver is mechanically good but it has a lot of play in the cylinder and should be checked by a competent gunsmith prior to attempting to fire.

1849 Pocket Model, .31 caliber, 4" barrel, S/N 82. Scroll engraved, silver-plated with brass accents; blue cylinder with gold etched train, Abe Lincoln and Allen Pinkerton; checkered ivory grip. Silver-plated powder flask. Ivory handled and gold-plated screwdriver. French fitted walnut case. Reproduction letter from Pinkerton to Pres. Lincoln offering his service to Lincoln. There is a place in the case for a badge, but the badge is missing.

Colt Navy and Colt Dragoon Special Edition Cased Set of Reproduction Revolvers 

Lot # 260 (Sale Order: 259 of 761)      

1)Colt 1851 Navy revolver, .36 caliber, 7.5" barrel, S/N 24793. Ivory grips, blue/cc finish with silver-plated grip straps. Exquisitely engraved with scroll patterns and gold line inlays.

2) Colt Dragoon revolver, .44 caliber, 7.5" barrel, S/N 24510. Ivory grips, blue/cc finish with silver-plated grip straps, exquisitely engraved with scroll patterns and gold line inlays.

These guns are both marked Set No. 4 of 50 mfg. and are cased with powder flasks, nipple wrenches, bullet molds, and cap boxes. All paperwork is included and original invoices totaling $6,000 are present. This is a fabulous set of Colt reproduction revolvers. 

Condition: New in the walnut display case.

.50 caliber, 9.75" barrels, S/N 171A and 171B. Brown barrels, walnut stocks with checkered grips and brass fore ends. Fitted walnut display case. 

Condition: Both are in new unfired condition in the case but S/N 171B has a tight crack in the stock near the lock screw and S/N 171A has light rust and finish loss on the barrel due to poor storage conditions.
