CONDITION: Excellent. Approx. 95% factory finish remains on gun w/ good shine and condition. Case colors are present on trigger & hammer. Grips are clean & unbroken. Stampings are clear & legible.

CONDITION: Very Good. Original finish completely gone w/ brown plum patina replacement. Grips have ding on right side; checkering is in good condition. Hammer does NOT appear to lock in first position.

MATERIAL / FINISH COMPOSITION: Blued metal components w/ black walnut grips. Case hardened hammer, trigger guard, & trigger.
FEATURES: Brass post front sight & fixed notch rear sight. "Figure 8" cocking lever & heart shaped trigger housing. Humped back strap & offset hammer. Linked ramrod & cylinder assembly.
CONDITION: Good. Complete loss of bluing & case colors replaced by a dark brown patina & staining. Grips are complete & show only minor scars. All percussion nipples are present. Stampings on top strap are legible. Firearm appears to function correctly except hammer does NOT remain in cocked position.

CONDITON: Excellent. Gun seems to function correctly, but appears to have had a later nickel finish applied & the grips refinished. All percussion nipples are present.

MATERIAL / FINISH COMPOSITION: Nickel plated metal components w/ walnut grips.
FEATURES: Gun has no stampings as to manufacturer, brand, etc. Aiming trough w/ fixed post front sight and pinned cylinder for removal.
CONDITION: Very Good. Metal finish is dull, but shows only minor loss. Cylinder drag line and scattered surface speckled stains. Grips are excellent. Hammer does not stay cocked.

MATERIAL / FINISH COMPOSITION: Nickel plated metal components w/ walnut grips.
FEATURES: Aiming groove w/ fixed post front sight. Fully engraved cylinder & octagonal barrel w/ offset hammer. Cylinder pinned by push rod inserted through the backstrap. Includes original presentation box w/ vintage .22 short ammo & cleaning jag.
CONDITION: Excellent. Remaining original metal finish is dull with balance of gun in brown plum patina. Several small nicks on barrel underside, otherwise no observable flaws. Grips have beautiful satin finish with very little wear. Gun cocks, discharges & barrel rotates & locks up nicely. Trigger operates hammer. Box has separated at seam on rear bottom. Original velvet is worn & inside compartment shows wear.

FEATURES: Notched aiming groove rear & fixed blade front sights. Inspector's cartouche on left grip.
CONDITION: Excellent. Original metal finish changing to brown patina. Brass guard is excellent as are grips. All nipples are present, firearm appears to function correctly, and is nice & tight. Front blade sight slightly bent.

DESIGN: Single action, percussion fired 6-shot revolver. 6" octagonal barrel.
MATERIAL / FINISH COMPOSITION: Blued barrel w/ case hardened frame, lever & hammer. Brass trigger guard & grip straps. Walnut grips.
FEATURES: This gun is the less common 6 shot model. Front bead sight. Engraving of stage coach robbery on cylinder. Loading lever.
CONDITION: Very good. Factory finish now a stained grey-silver. Brass has a warm patina & grips show only a few small nicks right side. Case colors are gone. All serial numbers match except number on wedge pin. Cylinder engraving shows moderate wear.

DESIGN: Belgian central hammer boxlock, flintlock fired muzzle loader. 3-1/4" barrel. Gauged at approximately .45 caliber. One piece grip.
MATERIAL / FINISH COMPOSITION: Blued metal components w/ case hardened hammer & walnut grip.
FEATURES: Handgun is stamped "ELC". Engraving at lock both sides & on trigger guard. Tang safety and original ramrod. One piece solid walnut grip.
CONDITION: Very Good. Original metal surfaces now a stained pewter grey with no observable flaws. Grips have a nice satin patina with minor wear marks. Gun holds cock, fires and produces a dandy spark! Tang safety carriage is slightly bent which prevents proper travel.

MATERIAL / FINISH COMPOSITION: Brass frame, breech, barrel, etc. Painted trigger, hammer & release lever. Walnut two piece grips.
FEATURES: World War I issue. Standard for this model w/ lanyard ring & bell muzzle. Gun stamped "London & Birmingham" with winged bomb stamping. Numbers match.
CONDITION: Excellent. Brass has a mellowed patina with only a few surface nicks. Paint is 95% on hammer & trigger / 50% on release lever. Grips have satin finish with several nicks & scrapes on left side.

DESIGN: French Officer's holster pistol. Flintlock fired. 6" octagonal-to-round, smooth bore steel barrel. Approximately .54 caliber. Circa 1750 - 1770.
MATERIAL / FINISH COMPOSITION: Stock is one piece walnut w/ silver mountings and cast firing components.
FEATURES: Ornate silver mountings w/ engraving (bow & arrows on trigger guard / drum & bugle on side plate) and Hallmark stampings. "Cassmgnard" engraved on lock plate right side. High relief carving on stock at back strap, barrel underside, etc.
CONDITION: Very Good. Lock plate, hammer, pan, etc. stained w/ surface rust. Silver furniture retains beautiful satin patina. Hammer locks in position & discharges correctly. Missing ramrod & has 2 modern screws through lock plate left side.

MATERIAL / FINISH COMPOSITION: One piece walnut stock w/ steel & cast components & brass flash pan.
FEATURES: Lock plate engraved "S North - Midln Con" w/ "US" & the American Eagle. Fixed blade front sight & hickory ramrod.
CONDITION: Very Good. Metal components are very stained and dark. Stock has a nice satin patina. Hammer locks firmly in position & discharges correctly. Ramrod may be a replacement.

FEATURES: Fixed blade front sight. "Tip up" design.
CONDITION: Good. Factory finish is completely gone & replaced w/ staining & brown patina. Grips have several small chips. Missing pivot arm for "tip up" mechanism, and hammer tip is broken off.

MATERIAL / FINISH COMPOSITION: Walnut stock w/ brass furniture and steel barrel, lock & hammer
FEATURES: Stamped "Whately" on lock plate. Attached, pivoting ramrod. Line engraving on lock, hammer & brass butt cap.
CONDITION: Very Good. Metal components have typical staining & brown patina. Brass furniture has stains and mellow patina. Stock retains some gloss, balance in faded satin. Chip from stock left grip at bottom and large chip and crack under lock plate right side.

DESIGN: "Side Hammer Pocket Model #2". Single action, percussion fired, solid frame, 5-shot .31 cal revolver. 3-1/2" barrel. Removable cylinder and spur trigger.
MATERIAL / FINISH COMPOSITION: Blued metal components w/ case hardened hammer & walnut grips.
FEATURES: Serial number indicated first year production. Notched aiming groove rear & fixed post front sights. Cylinder pin withdrawn from the rear. Loading lever. Cabin & Indian engraving on cylinder. Includes walnut presentation case lined in brown velvet with powder flask, bullet die, a tin of "Cox's Best Ground Edge Caps" (percussion caps) and a nipple wrench.
CONDITION: Excellent. Firearm cocks & discharges correctly and firmly. Approximately 90% original finish remains on gun, with minor surface scratches. Case colors are faded but still present on hammer. All nipples intact. Grips retain a nice factory gloss and are beautiful. Powder flask has no observable flaws and operates correctly. Percussion cap tin has unfired caps present. Bullet mold has stains & surface rust but is very nice. Presentation box has breaks in separators and velvet shows age. Box has no cracks, splits etc. with only minor surface rubs & scratches. Overall an exceptional boxed Colt set.
