This is the first of our two September auctions. This auction will feature a great collection of sport's memorabilia. Returns accepted within 10 days.

Payment Instructions: By registering for this sale, and bidding on any item contained therein, all bidders agree to abide by and accept the Term of Sale. Cash, check or money order with proper identification. 13% buyer's premium and PA 6% sales tax. All accounts are to be settled by the end of the day. Payment shall be in check or money order made payable to Frank Prisco PIEDMONT AUCTION reserves the right to hold all or some of the merchandise purchased until good payment is received and/or any check has cleared our bank. Each individual Lot sold is subject to a 13% Buyer's Premium which will be added to the successful bid price of each Lot and is payable by the Purchaser as part of the total purchase price. A 6% State of Pennsylvania sales tax will be added to the total purchase price, unless purchased for resale or exempt from tax by other Pennsylvania law. All Bidders who qualify for exemption must file a Sales Tax exemption form with PIEDMONT AUCTION. A member of Piedmont Auction will contact you after the auction to process your payment.

Shipping Instructions: Auction company does not pack and ship. We will, with your permission, take your item to local shipping facility in Philadelphia. You as the buyer will be responsible for any and all costs associated with shipping. Frank Kellert Cut Signature Matted with a Photograph Certified by JSA

JSA Frank Kellert cut signature matted with a photograph. This is a very strong signature with a blue and white double matting theme. This piece measures 8 x 10 inches. Frank William Kellert (July 6, 1924, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – November 19, 1976, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) was a Major League Baseball first baseman. He was an alumnus of Oklahoma State University. Signed by the St. Louis Cardinals as an amateur free agent in 1949, Kellert would make his Major League Baseball debut with the St. Louis Browns on April 18, 1953, and appear in his final game on September 29, 1956. The book Carl Erskine's Tales from the Dodgers Dugout: Extra Innings (2004) includes short stories from former Dodger pitcher Carl Erskine. Kellert is featured in a number of these stories.

Waite Hoyt of the New York Yankees signed check matted with a photograph. This piece has a nice a blue on blue double matting theme. This piece measures 8 x 10 inches. Waite Charles Hoyt (September 9, 1899 – August 25, 1984) was an American right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball, one of the dominant pitchers of the 1920s, and the winningest pitcher for the New York Yankees during that decade. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969.
