Navajo Rhodochrosite Sterling Heart Brooch Dee Nez

This is an original early Navajo Native American Indian hand worked sterling silver, rhodochrosite, and turquoise brooch. The piece can be worn as a brooch/pin or a pendant on a necklace. The piece shows a rarely seen Rhodochrosite stone that is hand cut and polished in the shape of a heart with three droplet shaped turquoise stones across the top. The back is hallmarked, “NEZ STERLING”. Early piece shows good condition. Measures 1 7/8”x1 3/8”.
