U.S. Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber and Scabbard, unknown maker, 34.5" blade has a partial "U.S." only, and is in used condition with several nicks on the blade edge. Grip wire and a 1" piece of leather on the bottom of the grip are missing. Brass hilt is very good, marked "JS" and "55". Scabbard is dark plumb color and in very good condition, with "53" stamped on the drag. A few spots of light rust are visible. This saber would make a nice display piece. Est.: $200-$300.
