Collection of nine unissued US Medals in their original presentation cases. Several of these are not commonly seen: 1) Kosovo Campaign Medal established by Executive Order 13154 on May 3, 2000 and recognizes military service performed in Kosovo from March 24, 1999 through December 31, 2013. Case includes full size and miniature medal, ribbon bar and lapel button. Dimensions: 4.5”x7”x1”. 2) NATO Medal. Established in 1996 to recognize individuals who had served in the Implementation Force (IFOR) as part of Operation Joint Endeavor in Former Yugoslavia. A new ribbon was established in 1999 for participants in Operation Allied Force in Kosovo. As NATO operations became more common, different ribbons were established for each operation. Case includes full size and miniature medal, ribbon bar and lapel button in case. Dimensions: 4.5”x7”x1”. 3) Humanitarian Service Medal. Created January 19, 1977 by Executive Order 11965. Awarded to members of the United States military (including Reserve and National Guard members) who distinguish themselves by meritorious participation in specified military acts or operations of a humanitarian nature. Case includes full size and miniature medal, and ribbon bar. Dimensions: 4,25x7”x 1”. 4) Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. Created under Executive Order 12830 on January 9, 1993. First issued in December 1993. Case includes full size and miniature medal, ribbon bar and lapel button. Dimensions: 4.25”x7”x1”. 5) Philippine Liberation Medal. Created by an order of Commonwealth Army of the Philippines Headquarters on December 20, 1944, and was issued as the Philippine Liberation Ribbon. The decoration was presented to any service member, of both Philippine Commonwealth and allied militaries, who participated in the liberation of the Philippine Islands between October 17, 1944, and September 2, 1945. A full-sized medal was authorized and added on July 22, 1945. Case includes full size and miniature medal. Dimensions: 4.25”x7”x1”. 6) Public Health Service Citation Medal. Presented to members of the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Officer Corps and any Uniformed Services of the United States whose accomplishments or achievements are of outstanding or unique significance to the missions of the Corps. Case includes full size and miniature medal, ribbon bar and lapel button. Dimensions: 4.25”x5”x1”. 7) 50th Anniversary Korean Defense Commemorative 1950-2000 Medal. Case includes full size medal, ribbon bar, Enameled pin. Dimensions: 4.75”x4.75”x1”. 8)25th Anniversary Vietnam War Medal. Case includes full size medal and ribbon bar. Cased and in original cardboard carton as well. Dimensions: 5.5”x4.5” x 1.25”. 9) Army Exceptional Public Service Medal. Established in June 1998, the medal honors civilians who provide outstanding service or contributions to advance objectives of the Department of the Army. Civilian employees and contractors for the United States Armed Forces are not eligible. Case includes full size and miniature medal and lapel pin. Cased and in original cardboard carton as well. Dimensions: 5.5”x4.5” x 1.25”. Some of the case exteriors exhibit shelf wear. Please see photos for condition.
