WW2 U.S. Army General Officer's Khaki Side Cap-Named To MG John B. Wogan-13th Armored Div.

Lot # 50 (Sale Order: 52 of 203)      

100% original WWII U.S. Army General Officer's Khaki Overseas cap named to Major General John B. Wogan. The 2 General's rank stars are hallmarked GEMSCO STERLING and have...more 90 degree pins with locking clasp. The interior tailor tag is stamped with Wogan's name and serial number. This cap was acquired directly from the estate of Wogan and is 200% guaranteed to be WW2 period and owned/worn by Major General Wogan. Wogan was the commanding WW2 General of the 13th Armored Division and was wounded by sniper fire during the Ruhr Pocket Campaign. General Wogan never really recovered from his wound and retired to the area in North Carolina our Auction Company is located. Amazing piece of history! Google him and there is a lot of info.

WW2/Korean War Period 1st Cavalry Ike Jacket With Bullion "Korea" Rocker/Tab

!st Cav patch on left shoulder has been slightly modified by the soldier having added stitching to simulate a bridle on the horse. Theater made bullion "Korea" tab just a...morebove the patch. PFC rank stripes on each sleeve applied with the XX victory stitching. 6 ribbon bars-American Defense with one star, Asiatic Pacific Campaign with one battle star-Occupation ribbon and Korean War related ribbons. The contract tag is "washed" out but this appears to be a WW2 issue ike jacket that has been modified by adding a front zipper and snaps. There is a small tear at lower right front, otherwise In excellent overall condition!
