Mossberg Model 44 US(b) Training Rifle

Lot # 507 (Sale Order: 507 of 600)

Up Next we Have a Very cool piece of history here, This Mossberg 44(b) US Trainer Rifle is in Great pre-owned condition, Heavy Barrel, Open Front Sight, Mossberg No. M4b ...more4X Scope, No Magazine. The 44US was designed exclusively for the war department as a target trainer, intended solely for use by U.S. troops. The war department wanted an accurate, dependable, heavy-barreled trainer, and was willing to sacrifice cosmetic detail to make it affordable."

Swiss Schmidt Rubin K31 Carbine Rifle 7.5x55

Lot # 509 (Sale Order: 509 of 600)

Up Next We Have a W-F Bern Swiss Schmidt Rubin K31 Carbine (Karabiner 1931) Rifle Chambered in 7.5x55 and in Overall Great Surplus Condition, Matching Numbers, Imported b...morey CAI. More From The Internet Below: The Swiss Schmidt Rubin K31 (Karabiner 1931) is a straight-pull, bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5X55 Swiss, a round which compares closely to the .308 NATO round (7.62×51 NATO.) Military surplus ammunition is frequently loaded with a 174 grain projectile at a bit over 2500 feet per second, though rounds may be loaded from 130 grains (at over 3,000 fps) to 200 grains (2460 fps or more.) Contrasted to the Springfield, Mossin-Nagant, and Mauser K98 rifles which were contemporary to the Schmidt Rubin K31, all of those rifles used a locking system wherein the bolt is manually rotated by the motion of the bolt handle in an “up and back, forward an down” pattern, whereas the K31 is operated with a straight back and forward motion. This allows faster shooting in combat situations, with a less pronounced arm motion, which the Swiss may have felt was prone to give a soldier’s position away more readily.

German WWII Type Steel Helmet Finnish M40/55

Lot # 518 (Sale Order: 518 of 600)

WWII German Type Steel Helmet Finnish M40/55 - with liner and strap- WWII German helmet stocks from the government of Finland These helmets are 100% genuine German manufa...morectured WWII type M40 steel combat helmets Supplied throughout WWII and then under special contract for the Finnish Army in 1955, hence, they have become known as the M40/55 helmet. However, these helmets were made in the same factory, on the same machines and by some of the very same people that produced them for Germany in WWII. They are nearly identical to WWII issue M40 helmets (and are often sold as such) with the classic rolled edge, correct steel thickness, and pressed ventilation holes. The leather liners and chinstraps were made in Finland for the Finnish army who called it the M55 helmet; styles vary, as some of the helmets were used up until the early 1970s. some liners may be reproduced as well as straps, PLEASE NOTE; REFER to pictures to make your own determination, we described the War Helmets as best we could but we are not Helmet experts. Also, helmets may come with dents or scratches or paint removed or missing rivets or chords, the pictures will show these details..

U.S. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor Rifle .45-70

Lot # 519 (Sale Order: 519 of 600)

Another great oldie, This Antique U.S. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor Rifle Chambered in .45-70 With Cleaning Rod, This rifle Appears in Great Condition, Breach block ma...morerked U.S. Model 1884, The butt plate is marked U.S., and both barrel bands are "U" marked, Serial # 89342 VP Eagle Marked 32 1/2" Barrel With Open Front Sight, Great Collectors Piece! The U.S. breech loading Springfield "trapdoor" rifle was introduced in 1873 in .45-70 caliber. Basically it was the rifle the U.S. Army used to open the West and Springfield trapdoor carbines were used by Custer's Cavalry at the massacre at The Little Big Horn. In 1884 the integral Round Rod Bayonet was introduced, which could double as a cleaning rod,a development that met with very limited success. It was finally replaced in 1892 with the .30-40 caliber Krag bolt action magazine Rifle. Model 1884 rifles saw service in the Spanish American War. The regular army was issued the new Krag rifles and the guard units received the trapdoor. There are a number of stereopticon pictures that show guard units armed with of 1884 rifles. The Model 1884 round rod bayonet rifle was Springfield's third attempt at a rod bayonet system on a trapdoor rifle. They had used the triangular rod system on the Model 1880 and some Model 1882 rifles. The Model 1884 RRB rifle utilized a different, but no more reliable mechanism for retaining the rod. Because the small locking "fingers" are not clearly visible, the gun has been nicknamed "flatlatch."

Japanese Type 26 Nambu Revolver 9X22R

Lot # 525 (Sale Order: 525 of 600)

Up Next We Have a Japanese Type 26 Nambu Revolver Chambered in 9X22R, No Arbor on Frame, Equipped With a Lanyard Ring, The Type 26 revolver design was completed in 1893 (...moreMeiji 26), and the pistol was adopted in 1894. The date of actual production inception at the Tokyo Arsenal is unknown. Some Type 26s may have been produced prior to 1896 when the Tokyo Arsenal symbol was adopted, but, there is no proof of that supposition. It is thought that the period of Standard Production ceased soon after 1923 as a result of earthquake damage to the Tokyo Arsenal. Sometime between 1925 and 1935, a small number of additional Type 26s were produced using left-over parts. A total of over 59,200 serialized Type 26s were produced (high observed: 59,227). Overall Appears Nice.
