Rare Historic Collectible Chicago World's Fair Silver Plated Trinket Box
Rare Original Authentic 1933 Souvenir from The Chicago World's Fair in 1933-1934. This is a Stunning Embossed Silver Plated Metal Trinket Jewelry Casket Box, made by N. Shure Importers Chicago, made in Japan. The top of the box has the Image of the Travel and Transit Building. The Right Side has Fort Dearborn and the Left side has the Electrical Group. The Sky Ride is on the Front, and the Administration Building is on the Back. Beautiful Aged Patina!

The theme of the fair was technological innovation. The fair's motto was "Science Finds, Industry Applies, Man Adapts". It's architectural symbol was the Sky Ride, a transporter bridge perpendicular to the shore on which one could ride from one side of the fair to the other.
