1949 International KB2 Pickup

Lot # 129 (Sale Order: 27 of 115)

1949 International KB2 Pickup This truck for consignment is a great example of International Harvester’......s venture into the world of the big 3 automakers with a light duty pickup. ... A former West coast KB2 version, now hot rodded and sprayed with orange, retaining much of its original charm and body, dash and bed. ... With a Chevrolet drivetrain, a Ford frame and axle this truck allows you to reliably harken back to a simpler time but only in the use of technology, as the design is still amazingly beautiful. Exterior Nary even a hint of rust, the beautifully straightened exterior steel panels are minding their gaps nicely and bathed in orange. ... A V styled tall grille with horizontal ribs and a chromed highlighter grilles outboard leads the way. ... This is flanked by chrome ringed headlights integrated into the bulbous pontoon style fender. ... Below, simple curved bumperettes protect the curvaceous fenders and small square turn signals flank the grille nicely. ... The V shaped hood rises from the front and is complete with an International badge on either side. ... A rounded cab roof sports black rubber trimmed windows and a rear window all rounded off with the cab highlight being the body color matching visor with a wide silver stripe overtop the oval windshield. ... Chrome highlights the mirrors and stalks hanging off of the cowl and under the door is a short running board to be used as a step up to gain access to the cab. ... More pontoon fenders grace the sides of the all steel bed with its 45 degree and rounded off bed side tops with its gray vinyl snap on tonneau cover. ... More orange for the 15-inch steel wheels with their bullet pointed chrome center caps and trim rings are shod in wide whites with 205/60's up front and 245/60's in the back. ... A peek at the bed area and we note all straight and dent free orange steel and black carpeting on the bed floor with the battery in the right front corner. Interior Swinging open the dipole designed doors, we can see a pair of bucket seats in gray tweed broadcloth being flanked by those simple orange steel finished doors. ... The curvaceous original orange steel dash is upfront and has been beautifully restored along with its original but restored gauges, a few simple pull levers, a foursome of aftermarket gauges and a glovebox for the passenger. ... Mounted to the bottom of the dash is a AM/FM/CD stereo by Sony, a fuel gauge and the factory chrome plated ash receptacle. ... Fronting the dash is a tilt steering column with a 3 spoke wood rimmed wheel perched atop. ... A small console rests between the seats and gives plenty of storage room along with twin cup holders. ... Lightly stained gray deep pile carpeting floods the floors and holds the short armed shifter and parking brake on top of the hump keeps things bulletproof on the foot area, and it appears strikingly clean overall inside. ... I’......d have to admit, the orange painted steel that takes over this cab is done nearly as nice as the exterior finish. Drivetrain Under the hood, in a restored and clean engine bay, we note a rebuilt 327ci V8 with a consignor stated 1,500 miles accrued. ... This is topped with an Edelbrock EPS aluminum intake manifold and Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor with a polished and orange ribbed air cleaner. ... This polished and ribbed motif appears again for the valve covers and sets off the Chevrolet orange painted block nicely. ... On the back is a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission and the reliable power is put to the ground via a Ford 9" rear axle. ... Keeping things cool is an aluminum radiator and electric fan Undercarriage Underneath we see an orange painted Ford steel frame that remains rust free but does have some road dirt, patina and black overspray gracing its surfaces. ... This orange is offset by a field of black that coats cab floors as well as the wood of the underside of the bed. ... Leaf springs in the rear with drum brakes and up front we see an independent coil spring suspension with discs attached for stopping power. ... Clean dual exhaust snakes its way rearward through the frame, attaching at the front to the white coated headers and sporting Turbo style flow-through mufflers. Drive-Ability A quick starter, smooth idle, and off to the test track where it did very nicely. ... Good smooth acceleration up through the 4 gears and I was rollin’....... ... Easy steering although its non power assisted, and braking was good and bias free. ... All functions and amenities this truck has were all working well at the time of my drive. A nice older pickup, straight lines and nice paint and with modern suspension and a reliable drivetrain. ... Ready to put “......your name here”...... and get people to pick up the phone for your business, all in the style of the late 1940’......s, and simple but effective workhorse in front of you. 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Resto-Mod

Lot # 130 (Sale Order: 28 of 115)

For consignment, the first year of the Tri-Five craze coming to life in our South Hall, (subject to change!), of the Classic Auto Mall. Here we have a consignor stated complete brand new car using all new parts, and an all steel body from Woody's Hot Rods, put together by Borneman’......s Restorations, and has plenty of modern goodies within its skin. The 9,200 miles were clocked on trips back and forth from Florida. Exterior Starting up front with its simple egg crate grille with shiny mirror like bumper on bottom, and single chrome bezel headlight on either side with an oval turn signal below, the beginnings remain simple on the embellishment front. Screaming 1950’......s Gypsy Red covers the front around this chrome, the hood, front quarters, doors and lower half of the rear quarter. This paint is very deep, and one can become mesmerized with its quality. A chrome trim spear mid-section of the front quarter runs rearward through the door, where it comes to an abrupt halt. With its starting point on the total surround of the passenger compartment, a chrome trim piece works its way past the door sills, then heads downward towards the mid rear quarter, where it is met with another mid spear which takes us to the back of the car. This part is bathed in India Ivory which is also in very nice condition. This spear combo is the delineation between the red, and ivory, which covers the roof, and trunk deck as well as the back of this car. A side view will give you a hint of the design that created the craze with these car’......s introductions, showing curved front and rear glass, all surrounded by chrome trimmings. On back, are simple lamplighter style taillights, a large cloisonné... badge, and another beautiful bumper with dual pipes hedging a look out of the bottom of this beautiful new creation. On all corners are shiny pointed dog dish wheel covers with red wheels and a chrome trim ring at the edges are all wrapped up in wide white wall 215/70R15’......s. Interior Moving inside starting with the door panels, and let’......s just say the hits just keep on coming!! Using white stitched red vinyl and more ivory colored vinyl which all mixes together with more swoop spear-esque styling trim, the door panels emulate the exterior design. Tuck and roll stitched panels for the mid sections, and a thin strip of red vinyl below. On these doors are power window toggles and shiny crank for the wing window and door actuator. Slipping on to the 50’......s styled bench, also in red vinyl bolsters with ivory vinyl smooth inserts, this split bench stretches from door to door and is sporting power movements. A rear bench presenting in the same fashion is in back and there is plenty of romper room back there. Fronting this is a dual fan dash with the gauge cluster on the driver’......s side, and badged speaker and round clock below on the passenger’......s side. This dash has been completely built from new parts and shines in red metal with a nifty shiny band of punched pattern bow tie logos running through the center. The instrument cluster is vintage looking but completely new and has a more modern layout including a tachometer. More red below and shiny knobs, ignition and temp sliders are seen here. Below is a thick pile, clean, deep red carpet which is pristine, and it is flooding all the floors. In the central glovebox now sits a small screen that displays the backup camera. Bluetooth connectivity is also available in this car. Above is a tight white vinyl headliner complete with chromed ribbing between the ceiling panels. Also a big shout out to the trunk, which is not to be outdone by the customized interior, it sports black rubber covering straight as arrows panels, and an original spare tire. Drivetrain Within the engine bay which gleams with red pride is an LS327 V8 that is rated at 325hp. It has EFI and on back a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine has a custom metal engine covering and all is just beautifully buttoned up under this hood. Undercarriage Let’......s stick to the theme of stunner underneath, with no rust solid Revo frame from The Roadster Shop, body hangers, and floor pans. Throw in some pristine dual exhaust, a new fuel tank, and a drip free bottom end of the engine, and we are in show car heaven. Independent coil springs for the front and a 4 link with coil overs are on back. Power Wilwood disc brakes are on all 4s. A turbo muffler system is now on as well. Drive-Ability A turn of the keyed ignition and all 8 are fired up and ready for the test track. This car is a screamer with plenty of power, good braking, excellent handling, and a smooth cruise. All the controls were working like a charm. I’......m ready for my drive-in experience. Throw 6 people in the trunk and let's get through the gate and pop open the case of beer we brought too. We have several examples of the Tri-Five cars here at Classic Auto Mall, and this one certainl

1956 Oldsmobile 88 Holiday Coupe

Lot # 131 (Sale Order: 29 of 115)

1956 Oldsmobile 88 Holiday Coupe Oldsmobile entered the 1950s following a divisional image campaign centered on its 'Rocket' engines and its cars' appearance followed suit. Oldsmobile's Rocket V8 engine was the leader in performance; its cars were generally considered the fastest on the market; and by the mid-1950’......s their styling was among the first to offer a wide, "open maw" grille, suggestive of jet propulsion. Oldsmobile adopted a ringed-globe emblem to stress what marketers felt was its universal appeal. For consignment, an original correct drivetrain, frame off (2015) restoration of the Oldsmobile Holiday. This cars design was ahead of its time for 1956 generally using styling that would be replicated years later by the other manufacturers. A simply beautiful example of mid 1950’......s success this one drips with class, and chrome. Many extra parts are included with the sale. Exterior From its open maw grille inspired by jet propulsion, wrapped in a massive bumper surround which turns the corners on the bottom of the front quarters, to the two tone paint tastefully broken up by a sleek trim spear, this example is just wonderful. A Glamorous Glennis (Bell X1 rocket plane) hood ornament stresses the jet age inspiration even more. Cirrus Blue befitting a car with a cloud-like ride is over most of the two thirds of the body panels. This has been buffed out to a gleaming deep shine, and jumps over the swoop spear as Artesian Blue, which finishes off the back of this car. This paint is buffed to a spit shine as well and is as beautiful as the Cirrus that floats above it. A wrap around windshield a first for the big three has mirror-like finish and surrounds all the glass. On back the sweep cut fenders are topped by rocket like taillights and on the bottom framed with another massive pristine chromed bumper. Dual chromed tips peek out from underneath this big bumper, and 15 inch highly polished tri pointed star wheel covers are wrapped in wide whites on all 4 corners. Badging is all excellent and is rocket oriented…......Look! Up in the sky! Interior Using a pallet of the Cirrus Blue, Artesian Blue and Cream and chrome it all gets mixed together and forms a fabulous designed and tactile interior. Starting with the dash with its oval instrument cluster framed by a large chrome bezel, this magically morphs into a horizontal chrome panel as it races to the passenger door with a centered original Super De Luxe AM radio and ends in a second oval with concentric ovals of chrome with a central pool in black and 50’......s styled stars and Oldsmobile badging. Artesian Blue metal covers the top of this dash, and Cream is on the bottom. An aftermarket AM/FM CD player is neatly hidden under the dash. Fronting the dash is the original bakelite steering wheel with more stars and badging in the center. Floating above the dash is a metal oval encased compass, an essential for early navigation on back roads. Beautiful 2 tone leather seats with blue tuck and roll inserts form a V in the seat backs of the front and rear benches. These are surrounded by cream vinyl bolster and top panels and are as clean as a whistle. Thick pile deep blue clean carpet floods the floors, and a tight headliner in white perforated vinyl hovers above all this visual eye candy. Drivetrain 324 Cubic Inches bathed in green block paint and green valve covers with Oldsmobile Rocket 88 in yellow paint, grace the clean and fully restored engine bay. A single 4-barrel Rochester Carburetor is on top, and a Jetaway 4 speed Hydramatic automatic transmission is on back of the rocket mill. The rear axle has 3.64 gears for that cruise at low RPM option. Undercarriage A bit of surface rust, and lots of fine aged patina surfaces make up the solid frame and floorpan areas. We can note that all wheel cylinders were refurbished, a new master cylinder with a stainless sleeve has been added, and new drum brakes for all 4 corners have been installed. Independent coil springs for the front, and leaf springs for the rear suspension and we have the fixing’...... for a cloud-like ride. 1956 Oldsmobile 88 Holiday Coupe Oldsmobile entered the 1950s following a divisional image campaign centered on its 'Rocket' engines and its cars' appearance followed ...moresuit. 1948 Chrysler Royal

Lot # 133 (Sale Order: 31 of 115)

1948 Chrysler Royal The Chrysler Building is one of the most beloved of New York City’......s skyscrapers, an architectural manifestation of both the Art Deco era and the automobile age. Famous as it may be, the Chrysler Building holds many fascinating secrets, compounded by the fact that it is difficult to visit and doesn’......t offer tours, unlike the Woolworth Building and the Empire State Building. The Cloud Club once belonged to a group of mile-high power lunch spots in New York City atop the city’......s most distinctive skyscrapers. The New York Times calls The Cloud Club “......the inspiration for many of the others.”...... It was initially designed for Texaco, which occupied 14 floors of the Chrysler Building, and used as a restaurant for executives. It opened with 300 members of New York City’......s business elite. For consignment, a 1 family owned car with believed to be an actual 58,534 original but unverifiable miles wearing a nice paint job and clean post war lines. A fine example from 1948, hailing in the big and plenty chrome era. Exterior Bathed in a Dove Gray respray, the big steel body is straight and gaps are good. All chrome is still nicely polished and not much fault can be found with it. In front there is plenty of chrome trim interacting to form the eggcrate centrally peaked grille with multiple layers. This emulates the peak of the hood and carries it through down to the clean front bumper. Fenders with single headlight showing off with chromed bezels and chrome grille bars which wrap around the fenders and die off before the front wheel. A nice hood ornament which is a flamboyant Chrysler badge leads off the rounded bulbous hood and sits upon a long trim piece which runs rearward to the front glass. The passenger cabin design with its front split glass has a rearward canter, and more surrounding chrome trimming wrapping all the other glass. On the rear quarters are rounded bump outs to carry on the design from the front fenders, with a belt line trim spear and more trimmings just above the rear wheels. A beautifully rounded trunk finishes this car off, and within this round field is another Chrysler badge and fancy chromed license plate illuminator. Small veed taillights in shiny chrome bezels wrap the rear fenders and hover nicely above a pristine rear bumper with single exhaust peeking out from underneath. Dove Gray steel wheels are capped with chrome Chrysler moon caps and wrapped in wide whites. Interior Looking like new, we see fuzzy broadcloth gray panels sandwiched between a wood painted sill and gray carpeting below. Within the smooth gray are the door actuators, window cranks and vertically ribbed broadcloth armrests. Inside a front bench cradled by a ribbed broadcloth tub and the seating follows suit with thin striped broadcloth bordered by piping all in gray. This split bench presents beautifully with no staining or tearing of the material. In the back is a split bench in matching condition and color which more so resembles an overstuffed couch than a car seat. The dash is all original with a faux wood grained front. Within this, a cream bakelite panel holds the original gauges, a centrally located radio and bakelite covered speaker looking much like a jukebox, all chromed and big! The original steering wheel is fronting this dash and is looking just dandy with its tan bakelite rim and chrome horn ring. The clear topped shift lever is on the “......tree”....... Very nice gray carpeting is flooding the rear floors and a ribbed black mat is up front. Peering upward reveals the original mohair style headliner, nice, clean and tight. Drivetrain Popping the hood, we are greeted by a 250ci L head inline 6-cylinder engine, original to the car and mostly unrestored but clean. It has a 1-barrel carburetor, an oil bath air cleaner, a 6-volt electrical system, and supple hoses are seen. A 3-speed manual transmission is on back and a 3.90 rear axle handles the 114 horses that emanate from the mill. Undercarriage Still wearing its age-old rust proofing on the frame and flooring, things present as patined with surface rust but no invasive rust is noted. All remains solid and we see one small repair area in the outboard flooring. Hydraulic drum brakes for the front and rear. Independent of each other, coil springs and shocks work together to provide the ride for the front, and leaf springs are on the back. Amazingly preserved underneath with a newer exhaust with a single pipe working their way rearward to culminate in a chrome tip. Drive-Ability This car with its original engine started right up and idled smoothly. Off at the test track, it accelerated with ease and held a decent cruising speed. Brakes were good, and the car stopped in a straight line with an un-held steering wheel. Functions were good and overall the car provides a nice smooth ride. Chrysler built solid cars to last, and this car upholds that theory.

1962 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Series Special

Lot # 134 (Sale Order: 32 of 115)

For consignment, ...a restored and owned previously by a restoration company in NJ, (Hiberion Auto Restoration/Bob Turnquist), who restored the car then sold it to a previous owner, and now in the hands of our consignor. ... All the main power windows work, (although the vent windows are a bit lazy and need some oomph applied!).  ...Two tone glorious paint, and fins that are beginning their decline, this long and luxurious land yacht is a head turner to say the least. ... Back in an era where status was measured by the inch, and gas was like pumping water, it speaks of excess, although tastefully. Exterior Dual dual headlights flank either side of an egg crate grille, and are mounted in deep chromed bezels. ... These and the grille float above a large shiny bumper with turn signal lights embedded into each corner, and wrapping around the front quarters. ... On the wide hood is a chromed V and just above a Caddy badge all in chrome. ... Straight steel panels are bathed in Maize, (pale yellow), which shows a few repairs and some touch ups. ... Gaps are well minded for large panels, and a black painted hardtop is shading the passengers. ... Not 1 but 2 trim spears adorn the sides of this luxury vehicle, and 4 doors hide under the black roofline with vent windows on each corner. ... The back of the car is this writer's favorite Caddy design with just a hint of finnage that houses vertical tail lighting as the fins can’......t inward to the rear chroming. ... Here backup lighting and a round reflector are embedded in chromed squared off ovals, which flank either side of a ribbed trunk roll pan. ... A thin shiny bumper is attached below and also runs the width of the car on the bottom. ... One look at these rear quarter tops with their tail lights and you will know exactly which Caddy this one is, hence why I like it so much! ... Wheel coverings are turbine style blades emanating from a central hub with the Caddy badge and some yellow paint has been added to the negative space between the turbine blades. ... These blades cosy up to a deep dish shiny edge trim ring and are all wrapped with whitewall tires. ... Maybe I’......ll run into you at the 19th hole and we can have a drink? Interior Large doors swing smooth like safe doors and have white leather uppers with a large framed in chrome wood burl panel. ... This serves as the door pull. ... A litany of toggles in the armrest operate the glass, and a joystick moves the exterior mirror. ... Inside nicely preserved bench seating using smooth Fawn leather bolsters and just inside their piped edges is broadcloth in lighter Fawn, complete with more buttons than an old shoe. ... In front is a standard GM dash design with horizontal speedo in the center of the driver’......s view, and some round deep inset gauges and a clock on either side.  ...Other controls are in a horizontal bar below the speedo. ... On top of the padded dash is a headlight sentinel which detects oncoming cars and dims the high beams automatically because after all pushing that metal mystery, (to any but boomers), button on the floor is so pedestrian. ... A sleek caddy steering wheel in two tones is fronting the dash and I see AC venting all about this cabin. ... Warm gray carpeting covers the floors and is in good condition. Also above is a warm gray broad cloth headliner with tight panels. Take me to your leader…......or at least pout to dinner! Drivetrain Under that big hood in a completely restored and shiny and clean engine bay, sits a factory numbers matching 390ci V8.  ...There is a single 4 barrel carburetor atop, and a HydraMatic 4-speed automatic on back. ... A 2.94 gas saving, (like you care you own a Caddy!), rear axle.  ...All looking great under this bonnet. Undercarriage No surface rust here, just a nice heavy coating of rustproofing, and no signs of any road dirt even within reach of my eyes as I peruse this undercarriage. ... While looking I can also catch independent coil springs up front, and 3 link with coil springs for the back, providing the smooth riding. ... Power drum braking and a clean rust free stock exhaust is on. Drive-Ability Sometimes I tell people I have the best job in the world.  ...I get to drive this stuff! ... And this one did not disappoint as it fired right up, ran smoothy and silently, shifted without even a glitch, and came to a fine stop in the panic mode. ... As noted the front and rear vent windows were less than slow, they did not function at all, and I couldn’......t get the high beams to stay lit. Plenty of WOW factor in this restored beauty. ... Wonderfully tasteful design, iconically Cadillac, and full of luxury and conveniences. ... Turn the key and drive off and forget about the other half lives, as when inside this beast you are on the OTHER half of the other half, go it? 62M131078 62-1962 M-Fleetwood 60 Series Special 131078-Sequential Unit Number TRIM TAG 05E-5th Week May Build STYLE 62 6039-1962 Cadillac Fl

1967 Ford F100 Pickup

Lot # 135 (Sale Order: 33 of 115)

1967 Ford F100 Pickup The current F-series as we know it has been the best selling truck for 45 consecutive years and for 40 of those years it was the best-selling vehicle overall in America. Believe it or not, it wasn’......t until 1959 that the original F-100 got factory four-wheel drive. And last but not least the front bumper was the longest running unchanged component for the entire F-series from 1959-1979. WOW! For consignment, a very nice and very cool truck right out of 1967. Lots of nice trim, decent exterior paint with slight markings from expected use, but certainly nothing terrible, meticulous maintenance performed, many upgrades to turn this truck into a great daily driver that turns heads wherever you go, and an aftermarket overdrive unit added to keep the rpm's low and conserve some fossils. While our consignor states this is a driver truck, our well-trained eyes lead us to believe this truck is capable of being driven daily during the week then winning shows on the weekend. Exterior Retired from hauling duty and fully restored this truck has no rust thanks to a liberal application of rust proofing, straight panels and a few areas of paint scratches and surface markings, but it is from wholesome use. Nice trim runs the length of the truck breaking up the Wimbledon White and Lunar Green on the midline and another spear as well the rockers and wheel well surrounds. A well-preserved front grille and bumper are leading the way. Extra-large towing mirrors are on both doors and shiny brightwork frames the drip sills and glass which gives way to a snappy Wimbledon White roof. Bringing up the rear is another nice bumper, and a Ford logo embossed in the green and white tailgate. Dual exhaust tips peek out from behind each rear wheel. The bed remains nice with its Lunar Green paint and shows signs of usage but no abuse. 15-inch steel wheels are wrapped by 215/75R15 thin whitewall tires. Interior Climbing past nice door panels with a mix of Lunar Green steel and dark green plastic and a beautiful chrome surround in black we climb into the dark green cobblestone pattern tuck and roll vinyl inserted seats in with smooth green vinyl bolsters. This bench is very nice with no tears or even wear showing and has some nice chrome dress up to cover the hinges. A look to the dash, and we note the factory gauge panel with its mix of black and shiny chrome bezels and the factory AM radio installed just above the heater control knobs. The dash top is crack free padded green vinyl. Deep dark green carpet in good condition floods the floor. Above a simple gray perforated panel makes up the headliner. Drivetrain A 352ci V8 resides in the cavernous engine bay which powers a 3-speed manual transmission with the help of a 2-barrel carburetor. A Dana 44 rear axle puts power to the blacktop. This engine bay looks more like that of an award-winning show truck with its mix of black, Lunar Green, and Ford blue covering the engine. We also note a Gear Vendors overdrive unit installed behind the factory 3-speed gearbox to give us low cruising rpms at highway speed. Undercarriage This truck shows very well underneath with some road dirt and only hints of surface rust on the frame and suspension components with all else being covered in black rustproofing. Dual exhaust with Cherrybomb glasspack mufflers expel burnt fossils to the rear of the truck and power front disc brakes work in conjunction with rear power drums for proper stopping power throughout the topography of rural Pennsylvania. A twin I-beam and coil spring front suspension gives a nice ride and for the rear we see traditional leaf springs. Nice and tidy would describe the undercarriage best. Of special note is added correct Ford power steering, new front radius arm bushings, new rear wheel cylinders, new brake shoes, a new oil pan gasket and a new rear main seal on the engine. Drive-Ability A quick starter, and smooth idler, a tickle of the gas pedal and we're off! This truck runs very nicely, shifts smoothly, corners nicely, and has a fairly smooth ride. The interior is comfortable, which is to be expected because Ford had the theory that their trucks were workers on the outside, but car-like interiors would rule. All functions were working during our drive and the note of the V8 more than makes up for the limited AM radio reception. An eye-catching example of the F-100, certainly not perfect, but it’......s a truck that can show as well as double as a daily driver. With tons of recent maintenance and service done along with a complete front-end alignment we have a well running, snazzy looking, and all rust free. Right here at Classic Auto Mall y’......-all! 1973 Ford Ranchero 500

Lot # 136 (Sale Order: 34 of 115)

1973 Ford Ranchero 500 It's not often that you see any of the mid to late 1970's classics restored back to their showroom glory, let alone a Ford Ranchero. Most were used as intended then passed on to eager teenagers who slapped on the best parts they could afford from the local speed shops and drove them into the ground. For consignment, a lightly restored and never thrashed on 1973 Ford Ranchero 500. Wearing a respray in its original color, very groovy 1970's upholstery, original dealership brochures, a 351ci Cleveland V8, and even a factory 4-speed manual transmission. This Ranchero will be sure to be far out for years to come. Exterior The beneficiary of a repaint 2 years ago, this Ford just gleams in a nice respray of the factory applied Bright Green Gold and it's holding up well these years later. Just a few areas of imperfections and body filler that was used during the redux is showing through. Dual headlights sit outboard of a Vee canted eggcrate grille which floats in a sea of Bright Green Gold that is the header panel and lower filler. The big chrome NTSB mandated crash bumper sits below with the only flaws being some light staining on the lower sections. A long gloss black hood complete with hood pins and a Cobra-Jet style scoop leads back to the raked back windshield and black vinyl top. Clean correct brightwork adorns the long slab sided body including the door handles and the correct script emblems and how can we forget the black rocker stripe to break up the space between the wheel wells. This shiny motif follows suit on the inset rear window and the entire bed is framed in more stainless. Speaking of the bed, it's still the consignor stated factory applied paint lurking underneath the black rubber mat. FORD lettering in block style covers the tailgate, as does Ranchero in chrome script and an added GT badge. Crescent style segmented tail lights flank this gate and contour to the bodylines perfectly. Correct Magnum 500 chrome wheels in 15-inch format are shod in staggered width Cooper Cobra raised white letter radials. Good vibes man! Interior With a swing of the long well balanced door we are greeted with a dark green vinyl door panel with a central knitted vinyl pattern. A smooth upper vinyl section in green is dressed with chrome delineation strips and a touch of class is added with the embossed olive branches. A chrome window crank and door release adorn this panel and a carpeted lower section brings it all together nicely. Moving inside we see the factory split bench seat in vinyl that sprawls from door to door. Smooth green bolsters frame multi-hued green knitted vinyl tuck and roll inserts and not a tear is to be seen, (you just can't beat 1970's color choices). The original green three spoke rim blow and Shelby dressed steering wheel fronts a crack free dash which encompasses the 2 main gauges and a 5 pod gauge cluster in burl applique plastic framing. Just below are the heater controls and a later model Ford AM/FM/Cassette stereo to the left and right respectively. Green medium loop pile carpet floods the floors and the factory wood knobbed shifter grows from the hump. A tight dark green headliner hangs above. Can you dig it? Drivetrain Lifting the miles long hood we see the original 351ci Cleveland V8 in blue blocked form. Blue valve covers and a blue air cleaner assembly stand out in a sea of mild patina and a multitude of hoses. Lurking under the air cleaner is a Holley 4-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold. Bolted to the back of the mill is the correct Toploader 4-speed manual transmission which sends power back to a Ford 9" 3.25 conventional geared rear axle. Undercarriage A solid steel frame supports factory floor pans with the frame showing just slight surface rust. Independent coil spring suspension is on the front and a 4 link with coil springs is on the back to provide the ride and haul the loads. Power front disc brakes work in conjunction with rear power drums to bring things safely to a stop. A new looking dual exhaust system sends spent gasses to the rear of the car and the Flowmaster mufflers give it just the right sound. All buttoned up and looking good, do you copy? Drive-Ability Sliding into the groovy 70's interior a twist of the key brought the car/truck to life. Performance was adequate, braking was smooth, and handling was good on our drive. We didn't make any trips to Lowes so we can't speak to performance with a full load but who's going to use this Ranchero to haul anyway. All functions were performing swimmingly at the time of our drive, just keep on truckin'. A well sorted, lovingly cared for iteration of a truck that is rarely seen these days. Add in some vital paperwork, a powerful V8, 4-speed manual and tons of fab 70's charm. With all the plusses and nearly no minuses this Ranchero 500 won't be idling long in our Hallowed Halls, catch my drift? 3A47Q163003 3-1973

1956 Chevrolet 150 Sedan Delivery

Lot # 137 (Sale Order: 35 of 115)

1956 Chevrolet 150 Sedan Delivery 1956 when men were men and cars were…......well big steel and chrome sculpted into iconic designs, that’......s what! ... For consignment from 1956, the Chevrolet 150 Sedan Delivery and this low number production “......milestone car”...... made in a mere 9,445 examples for the model year.  ... Perhaps it was the desire to own a sporty two door, or the practicality of a wagon and the ability to haul things, or maybe both? ... Either way, a hen's tooth in a beautiful can't miss it color and design from the Tri Five bow tie era and this ...one, with big block power, some blingy wheels, and those sexy dual 4-barrel carbs poking out of the hood work together to give this car is name...the Hollywood Knights Pie Wagon. ... It's a bit scary how fast this car will deliver, but it does in many ways, ...sit on down and grab a piece of the pie! Exterior Like a freshly picked orange, the Hugger Orange paint is exactly the right choice, because this car doesn't want to take prisoners, and the finish work ensures that nobody thinks it's still working for a living. ... A ton of money has been spent on this project, and while it's a few years old now, the paint still shines up well and the flat surfaces that would ordinarily advertise in gold that this is the Hollywood Knights Pie Wagon are reflective enough to shave in each morning. ... Much of the original '56 Chevy trim was retained, and the restrained look of this particular panel delivery is a big part of its ap-peel. ... A custom touch on the hood in the form of ever so slightly raised steel in the form of the chrome jet that was once leading the way streaks back to the exposed dual carburetor set up poking out of the hood. ... Bright chrome surrounds the custom horizontally barred grille, ...sans the front bumper, is flanked by orange tinted headlights under the steel eyebrow of the front quarter panels and a custom roll pan hovers below. ... Just a single strip of stainless trim on the flanks gives it a traditional look that's helped by the slight rake and like new Boss Motorsports 18 and 20-inch chromed and polished wheels.  ...Delivery!!!  ...Delivery for Classic Auto Mall!!! Interior When you climb inside, you'll find heavily bolstered racing bucket seats wrapped in black and orange that certainly contribute to the heavy hitting hauler car vibe. ... Matching door panels work well with the slick black and piped orange look, and the dash is a mixture of old and new, with the original ...1956 fan style cluster augmented by white face Dolphin gauges and the tachometer and supporting black face gauges mounted atop the dash. ... Dash central holds the wiper knob as well as an AM/FM/Cassette stereo helps to pass the time all within the correct bowtie punched polished aluminum inlay. ... A brushed aluminum tilt steering column and rally style steering wheel add a racy look, as does the Hurst ratchet shifter which is ideally placed for gear changes. ... The cargo area is fully upholstered, offering gray carpets on the floors and custom black Chevrolet bowties on the side panels, along with nicely integrated speakers for the stereo system.  ... An 8-point roll bar grows gracefully from the carpet and will protect you and your passenger should your high speed delivery go awry. Drivetrain The stout 454 cubic inch V8 power plant already with plenty of chutzpah, it's augmented with dual Edelbrock 600 cfm carb, Edelbrock tunnel ram intake, and a set of long-tube headers that bolster its already robust torque curve. ... Adding some bling are the chrome stack air cleaners, master cylinder, alternator, polished valve covers and aluminum radiator. ... It's backed by a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and Ford 9" 4.10 geared Posi rear end, so it was clearly designed to be driven...fast! Undercarriage All clean, mean ...and rust free with the exception of some slight surface rust on the usual suspects. ... A clean and solid frame provides the support for the independent coil spring front suspension with power disc brakes and in the back are leaf springs with traction bars and power drums, it rides and handles better than you'd expect. ... Some patina but all looking very good down here with long snaking Hooker headers feeding spent fossils to the rear of the car through a pair of Hooker Aerochamber mufflers and ending in angle cut stainless tips.  ... ... Drive-Ability A quick starter, and a surprising amount of power which seems to go on and on with this engine. ... It was definitely not expected, and handling and bias free braking was second to none. ... A smooth cruiser, head turner, and all functioning interior accoutrements. ... I think ill have a second helping...this time extra whipped cream! All buttoned up and modified to handle like it's on rails with updated modern underpinnings, and the retina searing paint, custom touches and big horsepower producing engine all adds to the allure. ... No phone booth necess

1969 Ford Ranchero 500

Lot # 138 (Sale Order: 36 of 115)

1969 Ford Ranchero 500 Looking original in its paint scheme, this former California car, er...uhh, truck lived the good life from its birth until it was brought eastward in 2014. Wearing 100% Ford sheet metal and having been treated to some upgrades, both on the aesthetics and performance front along the way, this truck was meant to be driver. A grocery getter by day and by night a cruiser with a 351ci Windsor V8. Exterior A respray of the factory Wimbledon White adorns this car and is looking top flight with only minor inclusions and a mismatch of the color for the pinned and scooped hood. The gaps are still well minded, and trimmings are used sparingly only as a thin side spear trim down low and polished surrounds for the glass and top of the black tonneau covered bed. Up front, the standard Fairlane grille, slightly sunken back into the body, leads the way with chrome highlighting, GT badging and outboard dual headlamps. A good looking chrome bumper hangs below and gently wraps around the lower edges of the front fenders. More dress up is on the sides in the form of a C-stripe in gold that thins to a point as it races rearward. Out back a FORD badged tailgate hovers above another nice chrome bumper and is flanked on the sides by tall ovoid tail lights. Popping the snaps on the tonneau gives us access to the fold down tailgate handle then exposing the Rhino lined bed which presents with little to no wear. Keeping this hauler grounded are 14-inch styled steel wheels with polished trim rings and GT center caps. These wheels are shod in like new raised white letter BF Goodrich Radial TA rubber. Interior A swing of the door and we see black vinyl panels with some chromed trimmings and handles and cranks. Grand Touring badges have been added for a little extra dress up. Inside some black vinyl combines with a tuck and roll crushed velour insert in mostly gray but with a few speckles of black color added. Black piping surrounds the borders and chrome trimming gives some pizzazz to the sides of the seats. Racing between the buckets is a black console with a black padded topper armrest/glovebox as well as a brushed and polished aluminum insert around the chrome T-handle shifter. The dash upfront is a foursome of deep inset circles with antique white face gauges shaded nicely for viewing. These include a factory tachometer, speedometer, clock and pod for warning lights and the fuel gauge. This padded dashtop is in a black much like the seat surrounds. The lower band of the dash shows a band of wood applique that holds the heater vents and Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo. Clean black carpeting, a wood rimmed rally wheel fronts the dash, and above is a stippled pattern vinyl headliner, remaining clean and taut. Drivetrain A 351ci V8 in blue is under the scooped and pinned hood and is fed a precise mixture of air and fossils from an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and aluminum intake manifold. Bolted to the back is a 4-speed AOD automatic transmission that sends power rearward to a 3.25 geared TracLoc equipped Ford 9" axle with 31 spline axles from Tom's. Some chrome dress up has been added for the valve covers and air cleaner lid courtesy of Edelbrock and we note the addition of AC to keep you cool as a cucumber. Undercarriage Half and half would best describe the undercarriage, with half sprayed in black and the back half left to age with the car. Overall showing some patina and surface rust but all including the unibody remain solid. Independent coil spring suspension is up front along with power disc brakes and in the rear we note leaf springs and power drums. Dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers snakes it way rearward and ends with chrome tips under the rear bumper. Drive-Ability An easy starter, smooth idler and comfortable driver. Sinking into the vinyl and cloth seats afforded me the time to gaze upon not only the factory gauges but the additional units installed under the dash. A movement of the shifter into drive and I was off like a prom dress. 3 laps around our test track rewarded me with unlimited acceleration, bias free braking and surprisingly good handling for a truck. All functions were operational at the time of my drive and the AC even blew cold. A former California car, upgraded in both the looks and performance categories, but not losing the original charm it was born with. Loaded with modern features, this car/truck is ready to haul you right out of our Hallowed Halls, then you can impress your friends by hauling some ass! 9K48M165140 9-1969 K-Kansas City, KS Assy Plant 488-Ranchero 500 M-351ci Windsor V8 4bbl 290hp 165140-Sequential Unit Number WARRANTY TAG BODY 66AB-Ranchero 500 COLOR I-Lime Metallic TRIM 5A-Black Vinyl DATE 30L-November 30th Build DSO 72-San Jose AXLE-Illegible TRANS 6-Close Ratio 4-Speed Manual Classic Auto Mall is a 336,000-square foot classic and special interest automobile showroom, featuring over 85

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

Lot # 140 (Sale Order: 38 of 115)

1969 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle The storied Chevelle is one of those timeless designs that looks good no matter how it's built. Stock, modified, race, pro-touring, whatever; the clean lines and balanced stance on these tough classics create a confident swagger that's universally admired. That means, if you're looking to ride in style, you really can't go wrong with a Chevrolet A-Body. And when you factor in this ride’......s big block drivetrain, tastefully restored interior and first rate, all-American sheet metal, you get the picturesque profile of an incredible muscle car! For consignment, a Chevrolet Chevelle SS clone from 1969. A mostly original looking car for the exterior but has a snappy engine under the hood, fuel injection, disc brakes, and there are now tubular A arms along with new shocks to provide the ride. A full build book with receipts, instructions and photos is included with this professionally done build. Exterior A side view has this car setup with a very neutral stance, giving the car a very racy look. To add to the effect, it is bathed in a nearly flawless coating of red paint which has also been ceramic coated. Most of the side trimmings have been left off, and the only ones still visible are the wheel well highlight moldings and trimmings around the nicely complimenting black vinyl top. A nicely curving rear glass melts seamlessly into the trunk lid and moves to the back of the car where angled inward tail lighting is seen on each corner. Chromed bumpers and window trimmings are looking nice and shiny, and it is badged with modern SS badging on the fenders, blacked out tail panel and the new chrome highlighted egg crate grille. A chin spoiler resides below the front bumper adding to the racy look. Hovering above the grille and new halo headlights we also note a cowl induction style hood has been added, while not factory correct, it adds a lean and mean look to the long front end. Lightly tinted polished 17 and 15-inch American Racing Torque Thrust wheels are wrapped in 235/50ZR17’......s in front, and 275/60R15’......s on back for that extra smokkin’....... Interior Nicely straight black vinyl covered door panels are on the inside of the 2 doors, along with some shiny cranks and door actuators. Thin strips of chrome delineate different panels and an SS396 badge is near the center of the sill. Moving inside we see split bench seating in the front and a full bench in the rear. The seats are also covered in black vinyl and have some smooth bolsters on the seat and back and shallow tuck and rolls inserts. Headrests are present as well on these chairs and in the back, a bench seat is stretching from side to side. All this seating is floating in a sea of clean, fade free black carpeting. The original dash styling has been retained but now houses a bevy of indigo backlit Dakota gauges has an added digital readout for the clock, odometer and temperature gauge. A FAST fuel injection controller hangs from the top of the dash with a central tachometer and auxiliary gauges circling around like vultures to carrion. A snazzy billet style rally style steering wheel is fronting this updated dash. In addition, an aftermarket digital AM/FM sound system is installed into the original niche where the radio from the factory resided. Above a black headline shows a few wrinkles, and a Junsun camera/navigation equipped rear view mirror hangs proudly. Drivetrain As we lift the hood we can unequivocally say “......Toto we are not in Kansas Anymore!”....... Here we see a large 402ci V8 stuffed into the engine bay that has been fitted with forged pistons and an Edelbrock .560i/.573e lift camshaft. It has Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads, 1.7 ratio roller rockers, FAST EFI and a full FAST ignition system including a FAST EFI 2.0 ignition module. A new R134a A/C system is on to keep the passengers cool. A TH350 3-speed transmission in automatic format is bolted on the back and a12-bolt rear with Positraction and 3.55 gears is now on. The engine is a very nice presentation with a concerto of cast aluminum, polished valve coverings, a chrome master cylinder, and it's making use of all braided stainless-steel hoses, and high output wiring. Lookin' good under this hood. Undercarriage A coating of black covers the undercarriage. Floor pans, rockers, and suspension parts are involved and barely any surface rust is noted. Wilwood power disc brakes are on the front and in the rear, we have power drum brakes. All new stainless-steel lines have been added for the brake system. For the suspension we note an independent front coil spring arrangement with tubular control arms and in the rear we see a 4 link with a UMI lift bar and more coil springs. We note the springs are Moroso trick racing springs and all new shocks are seen. There is a new fuel tank and new EFI fuel pump and handling the removal of spent fossils are Hooker Super Comp headers and a pair of Flowmast

1934 Ford Coupe Zipper

Lot # 141 (Sale Order: 39 of 115)

Offered for consignment and your viewing pleasure, a totally different take on a street rod. In today's world of high tech and high dollar hot rods, it's hard for a guy or gal on a budget to have a car that is different. Enter Darrell Zipp, the founder of Zipper Motorcars, a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War who came home in 1968 and worked as a freelance artist before being hired by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth to work on Ed's "Chopper" magazine. Ed recognized talent when he saw it and arranged an interview for Darrell with the Revell Inc. model company. Darrell stayed with the Revell until the time they were sold, working as their head of research and development, but all the while dreaming about building full scale cars. In 1976 he opened Traditional Street Rods in Newville, CA which operated for 3.5 years and took its toll as Darrell was still employed full time by Revell. Fast forward to 1992 and the LA roadster show in Pomona, the Diamond Anniversary Deuce made its debut and from there people started calling the car and others that Zipp built a "Zipper". Exterior Made of durable and non-rusting fiberglass, this rod is based on a 1934 Ford. Some key components were removed like the fenders and the car’......s wheelbase was lengthened and lowered for that sleek racer look. Leading the way is the long forward flipping track style grille and lengthened hood. Chrome trimmed headlights flank the small oval grille and hover above the exposed chrome laden front suspension and give us the start to the racer look. Moving to the sides we can breathe in the wonderful black and red paint scheme with a sweeping silver painted inlay delineating the bottom black from the upper red. This inlay wraps around the body and gives the air of motion even while standing still. Another silver swoosh highlights the exposed side engine bay and looks just fab with the chrome header pipes which reach rearward. An extremely shortened cowl leads back to the suicide doored passenger compartment where the '34 styling cues really come into play. A sedan style rear body encloses the back of the cab giving a "shorty" look to the overall design. Dual chrome trimmed tail lights are mounted low on the cab and the money shot of this whole car is the exposed and chromed rear suspension and quick change rear axle. Weld Rodlite wheels adorn the 4 corners and are wrapped in 25x7.5 and 31x12.50 radials on the front and rear respectively. Their faces are highly polished and the fenderless wheel and tire combo is exposed for the whole world to see. Boyd Coddington, eat your heart out! Interior Red leather, all in first class condition with big tuck and roll inserts and smooth bolsters fill the interior of this racer. Deep pleated tuck and roll leather covers the inserts on this contoured bench with smooth bolsters surrounding this pattern above and below. A snappy cut out is seen in the center of the lower cushion and provides the perfect home for the pistol grip Hurst shifter. This red leather makes an appearance on the door panels highlighting the smooth gray panels with a lower black insert. This gray and black is warmly wrapping the rear panels and toe kicks. An oval 32 coupe black dash containing the Shark white faced gauges and some warning lights and pulls sit to the sides. A quick release 3 spoke steering wheel is fronting this miles deep dash and lightly soiled charcoal gray carpeting covers the floor pans and presents with some wrinkling. It has custom chrome ribbed Chevrolet badged rocker covers and a chrome Edelbrock air cleaner assembly. Feeding the finely tuned amounts of air of fuel is a Holley 4bbl carburetor attached atop an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold. Bolted to the back of this blinged out mill is a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission which in turn sends power back to the chrome plated Winters quick change rear axle. All is kept cool by an electric cooling fan attached to an all aluminum radiator. Exhaling is done through custom chrome headers that can rack off for the whole world to hear. Offered for consignment and your viewing pleasure, a totally different take on a street rod. In today's world of high tech and high dollar hot rods, it's hard for a guy ...moreor gal on a budget to have a car that is different. Lot # 142 (Sale Order: 40 of 115)

For consignment, a custom built 1934 hot rod made by Darrel Zipp.  ...Our consignor states this car was one of the first examples produced during the transition of the Zipper company being sold to Fiberblast Hotrods, which began in 2007. ... It is maintenance free fiberglass and reinforced with steel. ... It sports a chromed out 350ci V8 and has a six pack to feed this mill. ... Open wheel, open cockpit, sit in and open up the throttle to allow those thirsty carbs to quench the engine’......s thirst for power, which there is plenty of! Exterior A side view is all you will need to fall in love with the hot rod era, where kids were taking the nearly ubiquitous early to mid 30’......s Fords and stripping them down, hopping up the engine, and racing anywhere they could find that the po-po was not. ... This roadster is fiberglass bathed in black with a super long exaggerated hood, a beautiful shield style grille with stainless vertical ribs and a curve to die for up front. ... Simple headlights hang from either side, and plenty of chrome tubing suspension and snarling twisting exhaust add some contrast to the black. ... A split tinted windshield frames the front of the tub, which conveniently has a wide door for easy access and egress. ... This is a real plus for a “......normal" sized American as some of these hot rods of the same genre, have no doors and you must hop over the rail to get in. ... Not this car. ... Behind the rounded rear tub sits the chromed rear pumpkin which appears to celebrate Christmas more than Halloween! ... Our builder throws on some 24x7.50-15’......s on front and framing the rear are 2- 31x12.5R15’......s, all wrapping 15 inch Weld Rodlite wheels. ... Which is just more chrome to add bling. ... Definitely not Henry’......s old deuce anymore. Interior Withing the tub floats a saddle brown leather bench with plenty of padding and width for the driver and passenger.  ...Another plus from the typical hot rod with interior room. ... Tuck and roll saddle inserts are on the door panels, and upfront is a full fiberglass jacket dash which houses a lineup all the way across of instrumentation with white faced gauges and chromed bezels conveying all the vitals. ... A rally style steering wheel is fronting this black painted dash. ... In the middle of the bench is a cut out to make way for a B&M pistol grip aluminum shifter. ... Black carpeting floods the floors and out its simple elegance in saddle leather with plenty of room. Drivetrain A flip of the hood forward reveals a mill Henry could have only dreamed of, (and could be currently turning over in his grave!). This includes 350 cubes of V8 and up top are 3 two barrel carbs and power is pushed through a TH350 3 speed automatic transmission. ... The chromed rear sticking out the black is a Winters quick change version. ... Chromed headers and some snappy side pipes can be seen in full glory from the open sides of the hood. ... She’......s my little deuce coupe, you don’......t know what I got. Undercarriage All chromed, a front straight dropped axle with a chromed 4 bar setup is on, and in back flanking the pumpkin, is a 4 bar transverse leaf spring suspension setup with knee action shocks.  ...Wilwood disc braking is on all 4 corners to add the woah! factor to the 6 pack fed 350ci mill power. ... All engine components are clean cast metal and plenty of chromed accenting. ... Even the radiator is a work of art in all its chromed glory. Drive-Ability An easy climb in and she fired up with a mighty roar. ... After a short warmup, it was off to the test track where performance was unbeatable with the power to weight ratio. ... Handling is very good, and with no power steering, turning was still a breeze. ... A good looker and definitely a cooker. This car can test the limits of your courage with its power and open feel. ... It is exhilarating, and comfortable, and an e ticket ride if you want it to be, or a comfy cruiser down main street. ... A wonderful custom build with a slight modern take own the original stripped down hot rod. ... If this is your genre come in and check it out, if not just write it off a speed crazy kids in hopped up cars.

1973 Ford Bronco

Lot # 143 (Sale Order: 41 of 115)

1973 Ford Bronco For consignment, a 1973 Ford Bronco which our consignor describes as a resto-mod. ... I’......d describe it as a dirt digger, rock climber and an unstoppable force against anything nature can throw at it. ... A body and suspension lifted 4x4 with a beefy 4.6 liter DOHC 32 valve V8 w EFI, a “......family roll bar setup”......, and some serious meats on all 4 corners. ... Military grade? ... Well, read on my trailblazing friends and campers. Exterior The beneficiary of a frame off restoration and the typical Bronco was thrown out the window, baby, bathwater and all, and now only the frame, front and rear axles were reused for this build, and it has a virtually all new steel body. ... This was lifted 2 inches and the suspension was lifted 3.5 inches, so there is plenty of ground clearance to take on even the deepest of crevices or the most mondo of rocks. ... The original top was removed and a “......family roll bar”...... was installed which basically protects the entire passenger compartment occupants in case of a roll over. ... A custom canvas straight roof top was fabricated and installed above the roll cage. ... All steel is rust free with new emblems and has well minded gaps, and it's all bathed in the deep end of the pool black paint, even the taillights have a black covering over them.  ...The front and rear bumpers are HD tubing and or a steel bar. The rear bumper has a tow package and the front bumper a push bar. ... LED front headlights, Bully side steps to aid in your climb inside before making your climb up the hill, and blackened trimmings make this a truly menacing Bronco if there ever was one!  ... And lest I forget the 35 inch Nitto Grabbers wrapping Black Fuel wheels on all 4 tall corners. ...Hang on…......this IS a bucking Bronco fer sur! Interior A climb inside reveals like new doors painted full metal jackets in black with a textured vinyl insert panel housing the black vinyl armrest, and black anodized aluminum billet window cranks. ... Inside we rattlesnake, (well it sounds like the outdoors?!), our way through the full roll cage and slip on to the high back buckets wrapped in gray broadcloth. ... Between these tall chairs is a custom 3 tier console with a padded armrest on top and cascading levels down to the cupholder on the hump. ... In front of this is the dual transfer case shift levers well within the driver's reach. ... A rally steering wheel covered in leather with 3 black open spokes in the center front custom dash which is also...wait for it…......black! ... To the drivers left is a digital and analog round cluster with blackface and white readouts. ... This one gauge houses the speedo, tachometer, oil, temp, fuel level and volts. ... The odometer is a digital LED unit. ... Moving across we see more billet knobs and pulls in satin machine aluminum and a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo. ... Speakers are mounted throughout. ... The gear shift lever has a billet topper and is located on the tilt wheel column. ... In front of the passenger is a small glove box. ... In the back is a utilitarian but effective bench for extra tagalongs. ... This can be folded down to add to the rear small plastic over steel lined ribbed bed. ... A tailgate provides easy access to this area. ... With this interior you’......ll be one happy camper. Drivetrain A complete restoration and upgrading and the original mill was also thrown out with the baby and the bathwater and now a powerful 4.6 liter DOHC 32 Valve V8 with EFI powers this classic truck. ... A 4-speed automatic 4R70W 4-speed automatic is on the back of this new mill, and a 3.50 Trac Loc rear axle is spinning the rear meats. ... All is well under this custom molded engine covered bay. Undercarriage Frame off is serious stuff and there’......s no fooling around with this undercarriage. There is also no rust, just strong pristine looking black painted structural steel everywhere. ... Floor pans are as solid as the rocks you’......ll climb and upfront some radius arms and coil springs soften the blows and on back leaf springs. ... Power disc braking courtesy Wilwood are on all 4 corners. ... There is now an electronic E-brake installed and you can see the controller underneath. ... Also, dual Flowmaster exhaust is working its way rearward and is looking like new. Drive-Ability In Morgantown PA there are not a lot of rocks to climb, so I just climbed in and fired it up and off to the test track I went. ... It has great acceleration, plenty of power and the dual shift levers allow many options for gearing in 4WD. ... There was no granny with a walker so I could not test to see if it was a true granny gear, but it's a true crawler. ... I tried to climb the side of the building, but the owner came out and poo pooed it! ... All functions were working and solid as a rock. A passionate build makes for some serious 4 wheeling and rock climbing (see the intro). ... This restored frame off Bronco is a real powerhouse and a

1917 Packard Twin Six 2-25 Series Touring

Lot # 144 (Sale Order: 42 of 115)

1917 Packard Twin 6 2-25 Series Touring ... For consignment a 1917 Packard Twin 6 2-25 Series Touring. ... One fine automobile in very good condition, we have in our midst chassis 126726 who’......s original owner was a GE employee Martin P Price of Schenectady, ... NY. ... Mr Price would keep the car for 7 years eventually selling it to James Tiffany of Delanson, NY.  ...Mr Tiffany owned the car until 1970. ... It then went through the hands of a few other owners and eventually into  ...a collection of a gentleman named Howard Schevitz who lovingly restored the car to its current condition.  ...A big car, with big lines and a big engine....exactly what the doctor, er...ummm...the GE employee ordered. Exterior One of Packard’......s features is the exceptional coachwork all performed in house.  ...Pulling from what was seemingly an unlimited pool of in house craftsmen, and today this talent is on display within this car. ... Right down to the Warner Lenz headlight bezels which are works of art in themselves. ... This body which sits upon the 2-25 original chassis, has 4 doors, a long cowled hood, beautifully curved exterior fenders and running boards and a convertible top which is all excellently restored canvas and in black.  ... The body is near flawless, bathed in Packard Blue, and the fenders and hood are contrasting and tasteful black.  ...All of the paint is miles deep and the gaps remain like they were from the factory.  ...Fine details like the radiator cap, with its twin 6 numerals, and new for 1917 smaller 35-inch wheels make the car lower to the ground than the previous launch year. ... These wheels are expertly crafted from wood, and have a steel cast center hub with the Packard badged center chromed hub cover. ... Even the spokes alternate in styling and pin striping a tribute to the attention to detail present in this example. ... Surprisingly chromed and polished adornments are kept to a very tasteful minimum, showing up only on the radiator cap, side view mirror and the dual windshield frame which can be tilted out.  ...The door handles are very special as well and provide easy access to the passenger compartment. ... On the back, a single tail light and two spare tires reside off the rear of the passenger tub. ... A lack of chromed bumpers is also interesting and evident. Interior A swing of the heavily leather clad and exceptionally padded doors allows us access to the well appointed passenger compartment with its ability to seat 7 comfortably. ... Dual larger black leather benches accept the passengers on wide tuck and roll curved back styled seats. ... For the driver, a large wood steering wheel is reaching for his or her hands, and has all controls on the actual wheel. ... It’......s a process to start her but getting through it is well worth the effort. ... Interestingly, the dash is devoid of any gauges, just blue painted steel. ... In front of the passenger are a dual stacked cluster of a clock and the speedometer actually mounted under the dash. ... The shift lever and handbrake are to the driver's left and mounted next to the driver’......s door.  ...Down below, the flooring is made up of nearly perfect rubber panels with chromed edging. ... Entering the car from the rear doors we are introduced to two jump seats with the ability to fold in and down to the floor, offering the rear curved tuck and rolled bench passengers to have plenty of legroom. ... The convertible top is open to the elements so this should be considered a fair weather car. ... ... Drivetrain Under the black painted cowled hood we see the heartbeat of the car in its twin 6 cylinder, (V12), configuration.  ...This too is beautifully preserved and runs like a Swiss watch. ... It weighs in at 424.1 cubic inches and produces 88hp.  ...It has a 1 barrel carburetor and 3 speed manual transmission on back with 4.35 rear axle turning the rear tires.  ...All very nicely preserved, ...down to the cups on top of each cylinder head. ... ... Undercarriage Retaining the original chassis and suspension shows a testament as to exactly how well made these fine automobiles were constructed.  ...This chassis shows some light surface rust and plenty of patina but remains structurally solid.  ...The bottoms of floorboards and running boards are nicely preserved and all solid as well.  ...The car has rear only mechanical drum brakes, and leaf sprung suspension both fore and aft. ... ... Drive-Ability The engine's smoothness and tractability left automotive journalists grasping at superlatives.  ...A writer for The Automobile raved that the car would accelerate smoothly from 3 miles per hour in top gear.  ...A journalist who caught a ride with American soldiers in their pursuit of Mexican revolutionary Pancho Villa related that, "it was like riding on velvet when those big Packards laid back their ears and breezed along as though their only ambition was to catch up with the horizon."  ...My experience was just as

This Mopar Action feature car came to our consignor from Kansas, is a 3 owner car and our consignor has over $180,000 in the built. ... Starting life as a mild mannered 318ci powered Barracuda Gran Coupe, it has since had all the metalwork done with help from Six Pack Performance helping with the Shaker conversion to the original hood, and a gentleman in Connecticut adding in the gills to the factory fenders. ...Ray Barton of the legendary Ray Barton Racing Engines led our consignor to give the nod to a Barton built 528ci Hemi V8 making a tire shredding 849hp and capable of propelling this furious fish to sub 10 second 1/4 mile passes,  ...9.88 @ 140mph to be exact and the video link is below but note, some safety upgrades are necessary to comply with NHRA rules to run sub 10 seconds on a regular basis. We give you a high powered Hemi clone, just a beautiful job overall has been done and is more than capable of taking a bite out of the competition. Scroll on! Exterior 6 gaping grille nostrils within the now Rally Red grille, a pencil thin chrome bumper, dangling fog lights, and angled shark gills on the front fenders are enough to intimidate any modern American heavy hitter. ... Hood pins keep things secure for the ever familiar Shaker hood, created from the factory flat hood, and now has a corresponding black Shaker scoop. The hood continues rearward to a pristine stainless framed windshield and bringing up either side of the stainless framing are Rallye Red sport mirrors and up top is a flawlessly installed black vinyl top. Moving to the rear quarter on our way, we note extremely well minded gaps, all straight worry-free steel, and the iconic HEMI billboard stripe in matte black. And at the back of the car, a sleek rear spoiler finished in black textured organisol hovers above a traditional valence housing the iconic Plymouth multi-bar tail lights and a ‘......Cuda badge all within a matte black rear panel. ...The rear showroom quality bumper hangs below the valance and in a Rallye Red lower panel dual chrome tipped exhaust peek out. ... Very few imperfections and inclusions are noted in the paint, and certainly no rust is found and one must look hard to find the flaws. 15-inch aluminum Cragar wheels by Weld Racing are wrapped in deeply treaded 225/70R15's up front and 325/50R15 Mickey Thompson rubber out back. Interior Keeping the door open to the “......no stone left unturned department”......, we can swing open a door and see showroom quality door panels in black molded vinyl. ...These have a sleek seamless look along with their ‘......Cuda badges in chrome. ...Also showroom quality are 2 thin early 1970’......s sleek black leather high back buckets with smooth center panels and back with built in headrests, some tuck and roll pattern inserts with buttons and smooth bolsters. ...The rear bench carries this motif in back, and these are nearly perfect as well, although getting back there may be a touch difficult for the average adult as a 6-point roll bar with removable door bars was installed by Precision Chassis. ...This all sits in a beautiful calm sea of jet black carpet that has embroidered red ‘......Cuda stitched floor mats. ... Floating above the carpet up front is a well done restoration on the dash, featuring a clean as a whistle round lineup of rallye gauges all within a wood appliqué... field and a black padded dash top. ... Seen racing up the center between the buckets is a 70’......s stylized console in black vinyl and wood appliqué..., and sporting a Hurst Pistol Grip chrome armed shifter. ...A faux wood rimmed 3 spoke rim blow wheel fronts this very 70's muscular dash. ...Above all this 70’......s menagerie is a tight black vinyl headliner. ... Drivetrain A Mopar Performance Mega 426 block now stroked to 528ci by the world renowned Ray Barton Racing Engines, replacing the original 318ci V8, makes ...849hp and is more than capable of sub 10 second 1/4 miles passes. ...This elephant has been fitted with a Mopar Performance steel crankshaft, Barton connecting rods, CP 10.4-1 compression pistons, and a .700 lift Bullet roller camshaft. ...This elephant was then topped off with Barton ported Stage V cylinder heads, Barton roller rockers and Jesel sleeve type roller lifters with no needle bearings. ...An 1150cfm ...Dominator carburetor feeds copious amounts of fuel to the mill through a Barton aluminum intake manifold and a black Hemi 'Cuda badged shaker assembly tops things off perfectly. ...Attached to the back of this healthy mill is a Pro-Trans forward manual valve body equipped A727 3-speed automatic transmission. ...Power flows rearward and is distributed to each rear wheel via a Strange Engineering built ...Dana S60 axle with 4.10 gearing. ... 1932 Ford Coupe 3 Window

Lot # 147 (Sale Order: 45 of 115)

1932 Ford 3 Window Coupe ... For consignment, a green mean machine, in the form of a '32 Deuce 3 window coupe, which is considered the nirvana of the hot rod examples and was the very first car to take on this kind of genre. ... This car is a fiberglass replica but holds nicely as an original. ... Bathed in green, has a powerful 350ci ZZ5 crate mill with some goodies inside, (see Drivetrain section), a leather interior, modern conveniences and is truly a looker and certainly a cooker. ... rrrrrrrribbbbit! ***Please note, this vehicle is titled as a "Special Construction", the Pennsylvania Department Of Motor Vehicles does not assign a model year to special construction motor vehicles, trailers, etc. Please research with you local, county, state or provincial motor vehicle bureau to ensure that registering and titling of this vehicle is accepted in your area*** Exterior Perfectly sculpted fiberglass makes up the exterior of this deuce and it's bathed in tree frog green, which my crack decoder named antifreeze green, ( keep it away from your cat!). ... Either way it's expertly applied and sports slightly darker ghost flames on the front fenders. ... In lieu of the red eyes there is are single large round chrome bezel headlight flanking a central vertical ribbed grille with a body matching cowl. ... The hood ornament is shaved and a like new curved bumper frames the bottom. ... The hood is an open cowl version allowing the engine to be viewed and listened to.  ...Curved fenders with a central running board was the design of this era and this is expertly sculpted and molded and of course rust free for this set up.  ...A suicide hinged door is hanging from either side with a small chromed mirror attached. ... Tinted glass is in for the chopped top, and as the ...roofline melts into the trunk area a beautiful curve makes its way gently downward to the shiny rear tail lighting and bumper.  ...The car rides on big 17-inch polished Boze wheels wrapped in front 205/50R17 rubber and larger rear 235/65R17 from the 8th week of 2019. ... A finer detail seen is the engraved 1932 Ford badge in the center of the running board rubber which is a nice highlight as you prepare to enter the interior. Interior A swing of the suicide hinged doors and what to my wandering eyes appears? ... All light sand leather expertly stitched into the panels which use vertically ribbed tuck and roll, custom curved armrests and a small corner storage pouch. ... Some billet actuators are built into the panels and are oval in their shape. ... A triangular billet aluminum door lock is noted on the edge as well. ... Nifty! ... Inside I take a seat on more comfy light sand leather, which is a split back overly padded bench with tuck and roll inserts and smooth bolsters. This leather also covers the vertical surfaces of the interior. ... While seated, I reach for the billet modern banjo styled wood rimmed steering wheel on top of a chromed adjustable column. ... This fronts a full fiberglass green jacket dash which is as simple as the original 32’......s with two centrally located oval bezel and glass fronted digital readout instrument clusters, each above the other. ... Blue LCD readouts make it so simple to read you could be illiterate and still drive this car. ... Oval AC vents are on either edge of the dash, which is also as curvaceous as the front and rear fenders. ... More sand leather covers a custom console which is very low but effective. ... Tan carpeting covers the floors and it's very much like new with sand stitched edging. ... Chromed oval pedals keep with the theme of this interior, and the KISS theory abounds in here. Drivetrain Within the oped sided cowled hood sits a beautiful industrial metal flame engraved valve covered 350ci ZZ5 crate engine. ... Within its confines is hidden a steel crank, a 4 bolt main, a roller cam, roller rockers and it's all topped with a Holley 4-barrel carb. ... Coated headers make their way from the heads, and a stainless steel exhaust expels the spent fossils efficiently.  ...On the back is a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. ... If it's not chromed or engraved, its satin cast metal for a wonderful presentation warranting the open sides. Undercarriage Nothing short of spectacular for this green machine underneath with more antifreeze green, ( skat cat!), painted tank, and floor pans. ... All else is chromed or painted gloss black for the TCI chassis. ... The car is using a front and rear Kugel suspension which is independent ...with coil overs and is blinged to the max.  ...Piping for the stainless steel exhaust is knitted for a fantastic effect. ... Me thinks this car was definitely trailered as there is nary a speck of dirt.  ...Disc braking is on all 4 corners. Drive-Ability Me being of somewhat simple mind, hopped in and allowed the digits to take over and tell me what to do! ... Actually it fired right up and off to the test track where it had neck snapping acceleratio

Note the difference between this model and the Town Hardtop: the Town Landau features a Levant grain vinyl roof in Black, White, Parchment, or Sage Gold with color-coordinated S-Bars. The designation "Town" identifies only the rear quarter roof line; the designation "Town Landau" requires the additional trim, (vinyl roof, S-Bars, wood grain ,etc.), that are unique to the Town Landau only. Showing in fair condition we have a sky blue respray Town Landau, complete with the Landau S bars on the rear B pillar, this is a low and cool boulevard cruiser. A fur coat for dad if you will. Now go pet the dog and grab the milk from outside. This find will need some TLC and upgrading, but it has all the basics ready for your loving hands to massage its back to full bore beauty. Exterior Getting more streamlined, we note less accoutrements and worthless adornments and more clean simple lines. From the dual headlights to the clamshell egg crate grille and hood intersection, the wrap around bumper all is presenting in fair condition. The headlight and grille are somewhat reminiscent of the Mustang with their coves and shape as it forms to the grille. Seen on the driver’......s rear quarter and the passenger’......s rear of the door panel as well as the rockers is some underlying rust bubbling through the paint, and a few cracks in the paint. Surface and invasive rust is noted on the rockers, where most of the cracking is occurring. The Levant grained roof is in good condition and presents in black. All badging is present and accounted for. The back with its jet age styling and a taillight that runs the length of the back of this beauty has a shiny bumper below. Standard T bird styled, and badged wheel covers are seen on all 4 corners. Interior Inside, the Town Landau has the same standard equipment and features as the Town Hardtop, with the exception of the door and roof consoles having a simulated wood grain appearance, as does the steering wheel (without speed control). Sage blue vinyl covered buckets with square stitched inserts in the seats, some stripes for the upper backs, shiny smooth bolsters flank a futuristic styled console glove box and power window switches. The rear bench has an interesting curvature to it and a center padded armrest area. On the dash 4 planetary style round gauges front the horizontal bar speedometer. A total midcentury design approach with the vent styling to the knobs and levers all space aged out and plenty of chromed plastic trim. Blue carpet floods the floors and is overall good condition. A leather grained vinyl headliner is seen, and it sports a central console including various warning lights on the ceiling aluminum ribbed upper console. A note to the attention to build details are on the b pillars with stitched square panels within the vinyl, just a nice extra 60’......s touch with some texture. Noted this would be the last year for the Swingaway steering column, allowing for easy access and egress from this sporty vehicle. Drivetrain An unrestored appearing original 390ci V8 engine sits within an original looking engine bay. This mill is topped by a single 4-barrel carburetor and has a 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. This puts all power rearward to a Ford 9-inch 3.00 rear. Undercarriage Plenty of surface rust and some invasive rust as wells some rust repairs in fiberglass on the back of this car. The rockers have invasive rust, but not reminiscent of the exterior panels which have rust bubbling etc. Floor pans have some rust and rot present. Independent coil spring front suspension and leaf spring suspension for the rear, as well as power disc brakes up front and power drums for the back. Drive-Ability With the exterior in need of some work I slipped inside and gave it a crank. It idled smoothly and went into gear and gave me a nice cruise. I was warned that the front tires are severely dry rotted so to take the test drive easy. Here it ran and accelerated but several issues cropped up during my drive. Including but not limited to the power locks not functioning as well as the horn and radio not working. I also noted that it has a distinctive pull to the right under braking, and the brakes hung up and seemed to not fully release, with the brake pedal being fairly close to the floor when pressed. Original interior, some work needed on the exterior, and undercarriage to remediate invasive rust. The front tires will need to be immediately replaced to safely drive it for any long period of time or mileage. However, a nice top and smooth runner for the Town Landau model this year only offering. 1978 Lincoln Continental Town Coupe

Lot # 149 (Sale Order: 47 of 115)

1978 Lincoln Continental Town Coupe Your first impression when you approach this 1978 Lincoln Town Coupe' is that it’......s simply enormous. At 233" long, it rivals the biggest cars of the ‘......50s, and today anything with 127" between the wheels is a full-sized dually pickup. In fact, this car is more than 14 inches longer than a new Lincoln Navigator! But it isn’......t merely big for the sake of being big, it has style and proportion and a gothic look that has aged pretty well. These cars have enjoyed a nice uptick in values and are a mafioso's dream come true, and in 1978, if you owned one of these, you had well and truly made it to the top. For consignment, taking up a large section of the South wing at the ever-changing Classic Auto Mall is this 1978 large and in-charge Lincoln Continental Town Coupe. With a mere 51,420 actual miles this 4956lb luxury barge has aged gracefully. A no rust car, clean undercarriage, and oodles of convenience options, you are entering the lap of luxury, only supersize me! Exterior A Rolls Royce-esque big chrome grille with the Lincoln star atop, hidden headlights on either side, and cathedral style signal lights at each corner we have the beginnings of a personal limousine like car, and we are only up front! A long, luscious hood, big side panels minding their gaps, plenty of side trimmings in vinyl and chrome, 2 huge access doors, a 4 bedroom apartment size trunk and a half padded vinyl top in matching white body color complete with carriage lights and Lincoln logo in the rear side glass. Rocker trim is wide and shiny, as are all other trimmings, door handles, mirrors, window surrounds, and bumpers. Speaking of wheels, big shallow dish wheels transform to a spoke pattern and have a black Lincoln badge in the center cap and are wrapped by thin white radials all around. No extensive damage to see here at all. Interior A swing of either of the well balanced but big doors reveals stitched cloth and leather panels, wood appliqué..., nice chrome trimmings, and a lower blue carpeted panel. A litany of power switches and toggles for door locks, seat adjustments, windows, and a rear-view mirror toggle are within the door. Having a seat inside, and I feel like I’......m at the local smoking lounge surrounded by soft luxurious wide buckets with extra pillows stitched on just for good measure. A large pillowed cloth armrest magically lowers from the center of the buckets to create an armrest for the “......lean”...... when you decide to go low and slow. A rear bench, like grandmother’......s couch stretches from rear door to door, and has the same buttoned pillows as the front as well as the armrest...smoke ‘......em if ya got ‘......em…...... The square and rectangle dash is simplistic in its design but retains luxurious looks with brushed aluminum panels and burled veneer appliqué... housing various controls, the speedometer, trip odometer, and fuel gauge. Climate controls are to the right of the steering wheel, (which is original), and a factory Ford radio is installed above the controls. Residing on top is a digital clock right out of the late 1970's. More A/C vents and a large glove box is in front of the passenger. Blue clean carpet floods the floors, and a tight headliner stretches above the passengers. Drivetrain A big powerful 460ci V8 engine is within a patina but clean engine bay, all original. On top is a Motorcraft 4350 4-barrel carburetor. This “......proper”...... engine is mated with a Ford C-6 select-shift 3-speed automatic transmission. A Ford 9" rear axle with 2.75 gearing puts power to the ground. Undercarriage Underneath is showing some surface rust on the driveshaft, rear pumpkin, and suspension. Floor pans and rockers are clean and look as if they may have been resprayed with rustproofing, however this is not verified. Power disc brakes for the front and big drums for the rear, along with the front coil suspension and rear coils with a 4 link make it stop and ride like a dream. Drive-Ability This car started with little effort, ran smoothly, and handled the test track with flying colors. Good acceleration, smooth shifting, and a very luxurious cruise at highway speed, where you barely know you are moving. It stopped in a straight line, and stopping power was sufficient. The whole experience was reminiscent of driving one's overstuffed couch down the freeway. A low mileage mostly original paint car that was the height of American automaker luxury in 1978. Now you can show up in classic luxury style, turn heads, and enough seating for 6. They do not make them like this anymore, and what a kick to drive such a large car. I think I’......ll light a cigar and go for a ride to see what the little people are doing! 1965 Chevrolet Malibu

Lot # 150 (Sale Order: 48 of 115)

1965 Chevrolet Malibu The storied Malibu is one of those timeless designs that looks good no matter how it's built. Stock, modified, race, pro-touring, whatever; the ...moreclean lines and balanced stance on these tough classics create a confident swagger that's universally admired. That means, if you're looking to ride in style, you really can't go wrong with a Chevrolet A-Body. Plus, when you factor in this ride’......s drivetrain, tasteful modifications and first rate, all-American sheet metal, you get the picturesque profile of an incredible muscle car! Looking at this interesting version of the 1965 Chevrolet Malibu I have shades of the late 1970's custom car show scene. Heavy metallic paint that almost changes colors before your eyes, chrome Cragar wheels, and a diamond pattern vinyl interior all come together to form this throwback classic. With all the retro going on, I feel the need to dig out my light blue double knit flare bottom slacks, Road Runner navy blue shirt and platform shoes to complete the ensemble. Exterior Painted with a heavy metallic red that under certain lighting shifts to a more orange hue and cannot be truly appreciated until seen in natural sunlight and is nothing like the factory ever offered. Some bubbling is noted on the exterior surfaces, and areas of previous repairs are slightly bumpy. A nicely restored horizontal ribbed grille with Chevy badge in the center has dual headlights and a shiny bumper below. As we work our way rearward, good gaps and britework are noted throughout along with more heavy metallic for the silver, gold and gray stripes on the lower body. This car is badged with the Chevrolet crossed flags and 283 designation, along with the Malibu SS badges on the rear quarters and lest we forget the frenched dual power antennas on the rear quarters. 15-inch chrome 5 spoke Cragar wheels are on all 4 corners and are wrapped with almost new 235/60R15’......s all around. Interior A swing of the doors and we greet custom styling with a diamond pleated white vinyl panel with metallic red steel above and smooth white vinyl below. This panel has the door actuators and window cranks as well as a white vinyl covered pull/armrest. Inside we see later model white vinyl high back bucket seats with more diamond tuck and roll pleating and smooth bolsters. Red carpeting surrounds the seats and from the middle of the hump a Hurst shift grows within the driver's reach. In back is a white vinyl bench with front seat matching diamond tuck and roll with some armrests built into the sides. More heavy red metallic steel for the inverted V style aluminum which dash drips of 60’...... bowtie styling. The original center gauge cluster, which is flanked by the speedo on wheel left, and a temp, oil, fuel and amp cluster to wheel right. An aftermarket tachometer is mounted to the column and shows between the 2 round gauges. Original pull knobs function perfectly, and a more modern styled radio is now replacing the original but appears to be slightly broken. Sitting on the top of the back seat are dual speakers. As I look around this clean red and white interior all I can hear is Bowie on the radio belting out Heros. Drivetrain An original fully restored engine in 350ci form is resting nicely within the restored engine bay. Nice orange/red block is now topped with an Edelbrock intake and 4bbl carburetor. Chevrolet badged chrome valve covers and air cleaner assembly have been added on for extra bling. Also, on back a Saginaw 4-speed manual transmission for just a bit more excitement. Putting power to the ground is a CA coded 10-bolt axle with a 3.08 gear ratio. All is very nicely done under this hood. Undercarriage Drum brakes front and rear, manual steering, and headers with Cherrybomb glasspack mufflers, can take you down the road safely and loudly. You can be secure in the fact that there is a strong frame which is showing off a mostly original undercarriage with a few prior repairs and some fresh undercoating in areas. Independent coil spring suspension is attached at the front while out back is a 4 link with coil springs. Drive-Ability A quick starter and on the test track it performed nicely with great acceleration and smooth shifting. All eyes were on me during my drive and the looks were certainly for the car and not yours truly as the only time people stare at me is when I spill my red wine on myself. The heater blower is inoperable as well as the radio not belting out any tunes were the only disappointments during my drive. A good example of the ’......65 Malibu with a wild almost color changing paint job right out of 1977, a few performance upgrades, some body work which can be seen, and nice chrome and brightwork. The interior is very clean and a perfect throwback to match the paint. The engine is looking great and performs as such. Add this retro machine to your garage and you'll be a hero for more than one day! VIN D

1969 Plymouth Road Runner Hardtop

Lot # 151 (Sale Order: 49 of 115)

1969 Plymouth Road Runner Hardtop For consignment a well optioned 1969 Road Runner with a 383ci V8 bored and stroked to 438ci, a 4-speed,Hurst shifter, A/C, disc brakes, AM/FM, and no center console but bucket seats and a tachometer. Throw in an N96 fresh air hood, and we have a rare classic that ushered in the muscle car era and created a bar for the other manufacturers to try to meet as to toughness and reliability with the power to outrun the Po Po…...... Exterior Medium Green Metallic AKA Avocado green which is THE color to have if you are talking pre 1970’......s shagadelic muscle car. Paint on this car is absolutely top notch as are trimmings, black vinyl top and long trunk deck and hood. Speaking of the hood, an N96 fresh air hood is on, and shows satin black stripes encompassing the dual side intake “......scoops”...... if you will, along with their 383 badging. Laser straight steel, with only 2 small areas of rust bubbling and nary even a scratch to be seen throughout with all well minded gaps. Pristine chromed bumpers frame the bottoms of the front and rear and on back a shiny exhaust pipe peek out from either side of the bottom of the rear bumper. One has to love the detail on the rear glass with its “......ogee”...... bottom window trim shape just adding some interest to the overall lines of this pretty much square and rectangle design car. Shiny 15 inch Cragar wheels are wrapped by new Mickey Thompson rubber 245’......s for the front, and 275’......s for the rear yielding a 2 inch rake to the car’......s stance. Interior Options are king on these early muscle cars as at this time they all cost extra money, which with the original buyer was no object. So currently, we see a mix of light and dark green vinyl mixing with some exterior body matching metal on the doors on horizontal panel breakup format along with some simple trim and pulls and cranks within this toned green field. Low back bomber style buckets are installed and a center green carpeting covered hump in lieu of a console runs between these buckets. For the back passengers a rear bench in the same color way and pattern allow for extras to go along for the ride. A Hurst shifter reaches for the driver from the center of the hump just in front of the seats and just above is the original dash showing in near perfect condition in green padded vinyl, and black textured vinyl for the background of the gauges. Gauges which include a tachometer and an aftermarket oil pressure gauge to monitor the mill while tromping on the gas pedal that feeds it. A like new vinyl headliner is above, and it has a working dome light in the center. Drivetrain Getting right to the heart of the matter, we fling open the hood, and are greeted by a like new engine which is not an ordinary engine….......where we see the numbers matching 383ci block rebuilt, bored and stroked to displace 438ci of Mopar V8. This had been dyno tested and maxes out at 587hp according to the dyno sheet. The mill sports Brodix aluminum heads and a Holley 850cfm 4 BBL carburetor which is feeding air and fossils through an Edelbrock intake. Lighting the fire within is a new Pertronix Flamethrower II distributor and our consignor notes that jet changes to the carb with #74 on the primary and #80 on the secondary were recently done. A new alternator was installed in 2021 along with new spark plugs and new valve cover gaskets. An A833 numbers matching 4-speed manual transmission with a McLeod 10-inch twin disc steel clutch is on back and it pushes power rearward to an 8-3/4 inch 3.55 sure grip rear axle. Seen installed are TTI headers on this beautifully presenting engine. Undercarriage Not to be outdone by the topside, the undercarriage goes along for the show too with Medium Green Metallic painted frame, floor pans and rockers. A new fuel tank is now installed, and amazingly the stamped undercarriage panels are painted as nicely as the topside in the Medium Metallic Green (avocado). We note power disc brakes bolted to the independent torsion bar front suspension and in the back are power drums with traditional leaf springs. Drive-Ability A fight nearly broke out as to who was going to test drive this beauty and I lost! So, my cohort decoder and muscle car madman took the ride and reported back with a smile on his face. Rarely does this duo draw straws for the driver's seat, but I knew he was impressed. He confided in me he loved it’......s handling, acceleration, overall performance, commenting it was all buttoned up, and all working and in order as things should be for such a good looker. I noted a rear glass that has been just a bit scratched but in the overall scheme of things insignificant. The high point of muscle car madness with a super quality build then a 10 year old restoration that was that good it still holds up great. A modified power plant, many performance extras inside and bolted on, and all looking showroom new. Get in

Get in

1930 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Dual Cowl

Lot # 152 (Sale Order: 50 of 115)

1930 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Dual Cowl Phaeton Rolls Royce has a long history of accommodating the well-heeled buyer by providing the chassis and drivetrain to a customer, and that customer goes to a custom coach builder and orders exactly the car they want. We have a few examples of this at the Classic Auto Mall. A hand-built car built to the precise specifications and individual requirements. For consignment, a car with some serious history, and a wonderful example of truly custom coach building. This car started out life with its original owner taking delivery with it being a Sedanca DeVille, (Open chauffeur cockpit, and an enclosed rear passenger compartment), where it has 100K miles clocked on it. After the world war, it was converted to a hearse, and logged another 100K miles. After this point, it was converted to a caravan, where it took passengers to Moscow, toured China, and the continent logging another 120K miles. At 44 years old at the 320K mile mark it was re-bodied as a Dual Cowl Phaeton. Exterior This current coachwork was the result of a collaboration between the coach builder Dick Brockman, (well known for his polished copper bodied Rolls, and one of the last great Coach builders of his era), and architect Charles Lawrence. Lawrence provided Brockman with an entire sketchbook of highly detailed drawings as to exactly what he envisioned the perfect Rolls-Royce to be, and Brockman took those interpretations and produced the beautifully proportioned vehicle you see here before you today. A dual cowl, meaning a bulkhead along with a second windshield that separated the driver from the passengers, configuration bathed in beautiful cream paint with chocolate fenders and a tan canvas top and all open to the elements on the sides. Upfront the essential chromed grille with radiator surround topped with a “......Spirit of Ecstasy'' winged goddess, is flanked by a single large round headlight on either side, and 2 additional fog lights residing just above the front simple curved chromed bumper. Beautifully proportioned chocolate color covered fenders with a signal light at their peak, roll gently downward to a running board which cozies up with the rear fender leading to the back of this saloon. These fenders frame cream colored 20 inch steel wire wheels and wrapped in 7.00-20 wide white sidewall tires. A long, long cowled hood stretches rearward from the front grille and leads us to the front windshield with beautiful polished framing. As this hood travels rearward, it passes a strapped on spare tire on either side all matching the cream wire wheels and wide white sidewalls, neatly tucked into each fender. A searchlight is mounted to the right hand driver’......s side. Between the passenger and drivers compartment is the metal cowl of this car’......s namesake along with another windscreen. On the back, a beautifully crafted wood and stainless-steel trunk is mounted to a rack providing plenty of storage space. Paint is as excellent as the detailing of this car, and just the sketchbook is worth the price of admission as you peruse the details which play out in reality on this one-off Rolls-Royce. Interior A simple tuck and roll curved leather covered bench in saddle brown and also in near perfect condition offers plenty of room for the driver. A solid mahogany dash with a polished chromed central instrument cluster and fabulous gauges of the era, resides within this dash. The large right hand drive steering wheel is black bakelite and a few other knobs and pulls are in front of this wheel. Some more saddle leather covers the sides of the toe kicks and goes well with the brown carpeting in front. In back for the owners, is another curved tuck and roll bench and when the rear cowl is lifted one can note the miles of legroom this rear compartment offers up. More brown carpeting for the expansive floor, and all door panels and sides are covered in saddle leather. The rear cowl can be left up or lowered for more of a tucked in feel for the passengers. All this compartment is covered with the tan canvas top which has a beautifully executed framing of wood, and polished steel along with some cream stretchers going across the top. Drivetrain A lift of either side of the hood and we can see a fully restored 468.14ci inline 6-cylinder engine. It has a 1-barrel carburetor and a 4-speed manual transmission. Our decoder states the engine and transmission are original although restored/reworked many times over its lifetime. A wonderful presentation under this long hood. Undercarriage Underneath all fully restored and neatly painted black. There is some minor chip off of the paint noted at the back of the fuel tank. Wonderful leaf springs are covered in leather gaiters to protect them from the elements. These springs are on all 4 corners. Mechanical drum brakes are also on all wheels and a stock style and wonderfully custom fashioned exhaust system makes its way rear
