Description Winchester 1886 Takedown chambered in 33 Winchester with a tubular magazine and a 24" nickel steel barrel. Manufactured in 1920 with serial number 157126. Blued barrel, magazine tube, bolt, trigger, and hammer. In the white barrel band, frame, loading gate, and lever. Adjustable rear Marbles sight and fixed front blade. Smooth wood forend and straight stock with Winchester checkered butt plate. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with scratches, scuffs, and handling wear. Finish loss and patina on the blued parts. The barrel band, receiver, loading gate, and lever are in the white with spots of metal oxidation. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the wood. Small thin cracks on the wood. Good bore with some spots of rust and strong visible rifling. This example with three digit serial number 828 and what appears to be a rack ...morenumber 277 features a 21-5/8" half round to octagon barrel, dovetailed front blade, dovetailed flip up rear ladder sight, case hardened receiver with saddle ring, case hardened hammer, blued trigger guard, and hardwood stocks with steel butt plate. The left side of the frame is marked "SMITH'S PATENT JUNE 23, 1857", "ADDRESS / POULTNEY & TRIMBLE / BALTIMORE U.S.A." and forward of that is marked "MANUFACTURED BY / AM N M SH N WKS / SPRINGFIELD MASS". The stock bears the "JH" inspector cartouche on the left side of the wrist and "JH" on the underside of the forearm. The left side of the barrel is stamped "LFR". Antique ships directly to purchaser. Condition: NRA ANTIQUE EXCELLENT with all original parts and 90% plus original finish with sharp lettering. The stocks show some light and scattered marks from handling. Known as the first U.S. contract bolt action rifle, th...moree Lieutenant Colonel James Durrell Greene design, which was manufactured by the A. H. Waters armory in Millbury, Mass, was the only underhammer adopted by the U.S. military. This example features a 36" blued barrel and three barrel bands with combination blade and bayonet stud front sight, graduated and folding rear ladder sight, blued bolt with straight handle with push button release mounted on the tang, blued trigger guard, and case hardened hammer and trigger. The upper tang is marked "GREENE'S PATENT/NOV. 17 1857." and there is a serial number "3711" on the underside of the bolt body. Antique and ships direct to the purchaser. Condition: NRA ANTIQUE EXCELLENT with all original parts and 90% plus original finish with sharp lettering. The stock shows some light and scattered marks from handling. The screw on the underside of bolt knob is buggered with light damage. The bore is bright with distinct rifling and the action functions as expected. This rifle was carried and fired ceremonially by the 1st Company Governors Foot Guard Grenadiers from Hartford Connecticut. Founded in 1771, The First Company Gov Foot Guard is the oldest continuously serving military organization in the United States. Front fixed blade sight and bayonet lug, two barrel bands, early type flip up ladder sight, and full length stock with steel butt plate. Faint SWP 1882 acceptance proof on the left side of the wrist. Rack numbered 78 on the left side of stock and 5 marked on the top of butt stock along with US marking on the top of butt plate. Bottom of trigger guard marked: W. Rear trigger guard tang marked: D. Front trigger guard marked: C. Underside of stock marked: P. VP proofed barrel. U marked barrel bands. The wrist bears a brass nameplate marked: FG identifying it a Foot Guard carried rifle. Description Remington 1816 Commemorative Flintlock Long Rifle chambered in .50 caliber with a single shot capacity and a 39" octagonal barrel. Blued barrel, lock, hammer,...more pan, pan spring, trigger, and set trigger. The bluing has plumed. Rear notch and fixed front blade sight. Curly maple wood stock with brass nose cap, fittings, ram rod rings, butt plate, and engraved patch box. Wood ram rod. Comes in its factory box with history brochure, application for certificate of authenticity, and instruction book. Black powder ships directly to MOST buyers home. Condition: Excellent with light handling and storage wear. Some patina/discoloration on the finish. Appears to have been used very little if at all. Bright and clean rifled bore. U.S. Springfield 1871 .50-70 Rolling Block Rifle

Description U.S. Springfield model 1871 chambered in .50-70 Government with a single shot rolling block capacity and a 36" round barrel. Dated to 1872 marked on the left side of the frame with with Eagle "U.S. SPRINGFIELD 1872". The right side of the frame is marked "MODEL 1871". Blued barrel, ram rod, barrel bands, frame, block, hammer, and trigger. Adjustable rear ladder sight and fixed front blade. This rifle has the New York State style safety system, that requires that the hammer be re-cocked after the breech block is closed. Smooth wood forend and straight stock with blued metal butt plate. The right side of the wrist of the stock is stamped with a ESA cartouche in an oval border. The butt plate tang is stamped with "US" and both of the barrel bands are stamped "U". Comes with a triangle socket bayonet. Antique ships directly to MOST buyers homes. Condition: Antique Good/Very good having been mostly reblued with viable buffing marks and wear under the finish. The finish shows scratches, contact marks, and general handling wear. Varying spots of finish patina/discoloration. Most of the metal stamping are still crisp, but the Eagle marking is faded from being buffed. The stock appears to have been sanded and refinished with the cartouche being still visible but faded. Some light scratches and contact marks on the wood. Metal oxidation on the butt plate. The rear sights screw is marred from improper tool, and the rear ladder sight has a bend to it. The bore is bright and clean with strong visible rifling. The bayonet has heavy metal oxidation and patina.
