The barrel is also dated 1943 and stamped "R.A. (FLAMING BOMB PROOF) 11-43". Parkerized barrel, receiver, magazine floorplate, trigger, trigger guard, and bolt with flag style safety. Receiver mounted magazine cut off. Adjustable rear sight and fixed front blade. Smooth wood forend and straight grip with with metal trap door butt plate. The left side of the stock is stamped with Springfield Armory Cross Cannons, "RA" and "FJA" Frank J Atwood acceptance cartouche. The bottom of the stock is stamped with circled "P". Front and rear sling swivels with mounted green fabric sling. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with general scratches, sharp edge wear, contact marks, and handling wear. Patina on the finish and green discoloration from oil. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the wood. Bright and clean bore with strong rifling. Blued steel frame with stock lug, lanyard loop, a...morend checkered polymer VKT grips. Frame mounted thumb safety and heel magazine release. Blued singe action trigger. Blued barrel and slide with loaded chamber indicator. Serrated bolt charging ears. Fixed front blade and rear U-notch iron sights. The top of the slide is stamped with "VKT" "L-35" and [SA] property stamp. Matching serial number 4780, stamped on the frame, slide, and bolt. Comes with original ATF import paperwork and letter from exporter. This pistol was directly purchased from one of the previous owners of seven years in Finland by the most recent previous owner in the United States. It was sent to a Finnish exporter than imported by Simpson LTD, which is marked in small font on the bottom of the grip frame. This information is found in the included documents. Also Comes with a leather holster stamped "AV3" [SA] on the flap. Also stamped with L in shield with crossed spear. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with scratches and normal cosmetic wear from handling. Small spots pitting throughout. Normal wear on the moving parts from operation. Thinning of the finish on the contact points, mainly on the front/backstrap. Bright and clean bore with strong rifling.
