Lot # 505 (Sale Order: 501 of 698)
Condition: The barrel has a mostly brownish plum patina, fading to a dark gray at the breech. Some traces of case coloring remain on the frame, with the lock and hammer having a dark plum patina. The buttplate is finished bright. The bore and mechanics are very good.

Condition: All metal parts on the rifle have the same gunmetal patina, with mottling on the barrel. The internal components of the lever have strong case coloring. The folding sight is missing its leaf spring. The stock and forearm have some slight nicks and dings, but are in good condition. The bore is in very good condition. The mechanics are excellent.

Condition: The barrel and magazine tube have a mottled grey and plum patina throughout. The fore end has several dings from use, and the butt is a possible replacement. By removing the crescent buttplate, a cleaning rod compartment is revealed underneath. The bore and mechanics are very good.

Condition: The barrel and magazine tube have a mottled plum and grey patina, with a few small areas of shellac on the barrel. The frame has a dark grey patina, with several areas of original blue finish showing in protected areas. The caliber markings have worn off the barrel and brass elevator block. The stock has a few nicks and dings, with the forearm having an old repair to crack along the underside. The bore is in good condition and will clean to better. The mechanics are very good.

The bayonet has a nice bright and shiny patina. The bore is in very good condition.
