**Cased Presentation Webley & Scott .32 Pistol 

Lot # 580 (Sale Order: 576 of 698)      

.32 caliber, 3.5" barrel, S/N 58248. The left of the slide is marked Webley & Scott LTD London & Birmingham 7.65mm & 32 Automatic Pistol, with the flying bullet logo. Blue finish, with checkered hard rubber grips.  Comes with two magazines, a cleaning rod, a screw, a jar of oil and an extra magazine in a blue felt-lined presentation case. The top of the case features an inlaid crest with a dragon holding a glove in its mouth. A plaque is included that reads Cased Presentation Model of 1908 .32 calibre pistol Presented by Webley & Scott to Captain W.E. Steel-Gretton for assisting in the design of the Model 1908. Purchased by the present owner from Miss I.A. Gretton. 

Condition: The blue finish is mostly present throughout, with light wear on the barrel, trigger guard and left of the slide. The grips and bore are in very good condition.

.45 ACP caliber, 5" barrel length, S/N 26381 (ca. 1913). Left side of the action marked with patent dates and two-line Colt address.  Left side of action also has a rampant Colt logo near the trigger.  Left side of frame marked "United States Property."  Right side of action marked "Model of 1911 US Army."  Serial number on right side of frame.  Blue finish with checkered walnut grips. 

Condition: Retains a lot of the blue finish throughout with wear to the high edges and right side of barrel.  Very light salt and pepper pitting on the frame.  The markings are sharp and crisp.  Mechanically very good.  Bore is very good.

**Colt Model 1911 U.S. Army Pistol 

Lot # 584 (Sale Order: 579 of 698)      

.45 caliber, 5" barrel length, S/N 54492 (ca. 1913), Colt Hartford address and patent dates in two lines on the left side of slide action.  Also on the left side of the frame just above the magazine release in a circle is GHD military subinspector's initials. Rampant Colt logo marked on left side of slide action in front of the trigger.  Right side of slide action marked "Model of 1911 U.S. Army."  Left side of frame is marked "United States Property."  Blue finish throughout with checkered walnut grips. 

Condition: Retains most of the blue finish with wear to the high edges and just a little wear to the muzzle.  The markings are very sharp and crisp.  The grips are very good with some wear at the bottom.  Bore is very good and mechanically very good.

.45 rimless smokeless caliber, 5" barrel length, S/N 4342 (ca. 1910).  Colt two-line Hartford address and patent dates marked on left side of slide action.  Rampant Colt logo on the back left side of slide action.  Right side is marked "Automatic Colt" over ".45 Calibre 45 Rimless Smokeless."  Factory proof mark on left side of trigger guard.  Blue finish with checkered walnut grips.  Case colored hammer. 

Condition: Retains some of the blue finish on the slide action and the frame.  The frame is thinning to gray just in front the trigger guard.  The action near the muzzle is thinning to the gray.  The back strap and trigger guard are thinning to gray.  Markings are good.  Traces of case color remain on the hammer.  The grips are very good.  Bore is very good.  Mechanically very good.

7.65 caliber, 3.75" round barrel, S/N 973339. Marked on the left side of the slide near the muzzle SA de NSDAP, Gruppe Franken in two lines. Blue finish with Walther log black checkered grips.  In a party-style brown leather holster with four clips.  Also comes with liberation papers. 

Condition: Slide retains most of the original blue finish with a small area of staining over the PPK markings on the left side, plustwo small areas on the right side of the slide. The frame retains most of the blue finish with some wear to the high edges.  Grips are excellent.  Markings are sharp and crisp.  Holster is very good.

Left side of slide action marked "Browning's Patent" over patent date.  Also marked with two-line Colt address and rampant Colt logo near the hammer.  Right side of slide action marked "Automatic Colt" over "Calibre 38 Rimless Smokeless."  Blue finish with black checkered grips marked Colt at top in a banner and rampant Colt logo in the middle on each side. 

Condition: The slide action and the frame retain some of the blue that shows wear to the high edges and muzzle.  The back strap shows very little finish with mostly gray patina.  The grips are very good.  Mechanically very good.  Bore is very good plus.  Bright and shiny.

**Colt Single Action Army Revolver Factory Lettered To Wells Fargo & Co

.45 Colt caliber, 5.5" round barrel length, S/N <i>288284 </i>(all visible numbers matching), left side of barrel marked "<i>.45 Colt."  Left side of frame marked with patent dates and a rampant Colt logo. Top of the barrel is marked with single-line Colt barrel address.  The bottom of the back strap is engraved "<i>W.F. & Co.</i>"   Blue finish on the barrel, ejector, cylinder, hammer, trigger and trigger guard.  Case colored frame with black checkered grips with rampant Colt logo at the top of each side.<br><br>Comes with a factory letter showing this single action revolver was one of 12 guns in a shipment on February 4, 1907, going to Wells Fargo & Co. and is marked as such on the back strap and detailed on the letter. <br><br>Condition: Retains most of the blue finish on the barrel blending to a patina.  The ejector retains some of the finish with wear from the holster.  The cylinder retains most of the finish blending to a patina with wear from the cylinder rotating.  The frame has some of the case coloring blending to a silvery gray patina.  The back strap retains some of the finish blending to a plum patina.  The grips show wear consistent with use.  The markings are sharp and crisp.  Mechanically very good.  Bore is very good plus.<br><br>EST $ 6000 - 9000<br><br>**C&R or FFL Required...more

**Colt Single Action Army Revolver 

Lot # 595 (Sale Order: 590 of 698)      

.44-40 caliber, 7.5" round barrel length, S/N 201973 (ca. 1900). Single line Colt Hartford address on top of barrel.  Left side of barrel has roll die markings "Colt Frontier Six Shooter."  Left side side of frame marked in two lines with patent dates next to rampant Colt logo.  Blue finish throughout with carved long horn ivory grips. 

Condition: This single action retains considerable amount of finish.  The barrel does show some areas of thinning to a gray patina.  The cylinder shows use with some areas to a gray patina.  The frame, cylinder and hammer have areas of very fine salt and pepper pitting.  The grips have a pleasing yellow patina with a very small chip on the left side.  Markings are good.  Bore is very good.  Mechanically very good.

Condition: The bore is in very good condition. The nickel is displays some flaking in some small spots on the cylinder and frame, but is mostly entirely present throughout. The grips are in good condition.

Marked in two lines on the left side of the frame Remington Rand Inc over Syracuse NY USA in gilt.  The frame of the gun is outlined in gold with fine scroll engraving on the slide action, frame and  hammer.  Blue finish with bone grips.  Comes in a nicely crafted plexiglass case. 

Condition: Like-new condition with very sharp and crisp markings and engraving.  Retains all of the blue finish with little to no wear.  The grips are excellent.  The bore is excellent.  Mechanically excellent.

Condition: All of the original blue finish remains throughout the entirety of the gun, with one tiny scuff to the top of the frame. The varnish on the pistol grip is lightly worn, with the fore end and buttstock in excellent condition. The bore is excellent.

Condition: The auto and three-round burst markings are not present on the frame. Rifle is in very good to excellent overall condition.

Souvenirs Liberated from Hitler's Berlin Office and a Fragment of the Berlin Wall 

Lot # 601 (Sale Order: 596 of 698)      

Lot includes two items found at Hitler's chancellery in 1945 by Corp. James Hengelbrok, 78th Div. The first being the top of a Roman-style torch wall sconce removed from the formal office. 4.5" diameter by 3" tall, of brass in the form of a cluster of acanthus leaves mounted on a 6" square wooden base with identifying brass plaque.  The chancellery office was lined with a large number of similar sconces and parts or whole fixtures are among the most recognizable Hitler related artifacts. The second souvenir is a 4" x 3.5" section of crimson and gold brocade upholstery fabric cut from a chair in the adjutant's office, woven in a pattern of peacocks and tulips, housed in a contemporary metal frame with an identification handwritten by Corp. Hengelbrok.  In addition, a WWI Iron Cross 2nd Class found by Mr. Hengelbrok is also included. The souvenirs are accompanied by two signed statements providing the history of how Mr.Hengelbrok acquired  these items in 1945.   Also included with this lot is a painted 4" x 2.5" piece of concrete the Berlin Wall retaining some of the blue and purple painted graffiti.  This fragment of the "Iron Curtain" was sent to Mr. Hengelbrok by a nephew after the wall fell. 

Condition: Very good. Normal age toning and service wear.

WWI Ace Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker Sheffield Plate Presentation Loving Cup 

Lot # 602 (Sale Order: 597 of 698)      

18.5" tall by 13" wide Art Deco-style silver-plated brass trophy cup with a long trumpet base and stem, gracefully curving side handles and a bowl crowned with pierced vine and leaf filigree.  The bowl has an engraved presentation on the obverse "TO / CAPT. E. V. RICKENBACKER / THE / "ACE OF ACES" / FROM HIS / LOS ANGELES / FRIENDS."  Maker marked on the base "PAIRPOINT" with the company's "P" in a diamond logo, number "B3366" and "MADE IN USA," 1920s - 30s period.  A rare personal artifact from America's top Great War flying ace. 

Condition: Good. Has uneven age patina, silver finish worn away from a portion of the rim of the base. Scattered minor dents especially on the filigree rim.

Cased Wood Model of the German Battleship Tripitz Handcrafted by a POW 

Lot # 603 (Sale Order: 598 of 698)      

Highly detailed wooden model, approximately 30" in length, mounting base labeled "TRIPITZ," housed in a 35" x 12" x 11.75" oak and glass case. Details include gun turrets, singnal masts, life boats and a seaplane.  Constructed of scrap wood, string and paper using simple tools by an unidentified German POW held at a camp in Canada.  While the model is identified as the Tripitz, the superstructure and gun placement do not match the profile that ship or her sister ship, Bismarck.  It may simply represent the prisoner artist's interpretation of battleship or heavy cruiser.  This particular model has been exhibited at the U.S. Naval War College Museum, Newport, RI and The Intrepid Sea Air Space Museum, New York, NY. 

Condition: Very good with appealing light age toning.

**Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 Rod-Bayonet Rifle 

Lot # 604 (Sale Order: 599 of 698)      

.30-03 caliber, 24.2" barrel, S/N 1054. Assembled using a Rock Island receiver, marked U.S. Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 and with the serial number. Walnut stock with cartouche dated 1904, and with firing proof and JA stamp behind trigger guard. 

Condition: Stock is of new manufacture. All markings are new. Cartouches are restamped. Rear sight base was subsequently made using a later type base and splicing in a Krag base to accept a 1902 sight base. Barrel has been made from a Krag Barrel. Stock, rear sight base, barrel and middleband are of new origin. Receiver, bolt, front sight, front band, bayonet retainer housing, trigger guard and buttplate are original parts. Hand guard is also original.

**Early Model 1917 Winchester Rifle 

Lot # 605 (Sale Order: 600 of 698)      

.30 centerfire caliber, 26" barrel, S/N 433. The barrel is marked W over a flaming bomb proof, over 6-17. The frame is marked U.S. W and with the serial. The top left side of the receiver bears a 24 over A proof and a 26 over A. The left side of the receiver bears a flaming bomb proof and a five-pointed star in a circle marking. Several other parts including the front sight, bolt and bolt arm are also marked with a W. The underside of the stock is marked with two crowns over 24 over A proofs and a flaming bomb proof. 

Condition: All parts retain almost all of their original blue finish. The stock is in very good to excellent condition. The bore is excellent.
