**Springfield Model 1922 M2 Rifle
Lot # 606 (Sale Order: 601 of 698)
Condition: The barrel and reciever have a strong parkerized finish, with light areas of fading on the barrel. The receiver is finished bright. The stock has some light handling marks, but is in very good overall condition. The bore is excellent.

**Early Rock Island Arsenal U.S. Model 1903 Rifle
Lot # 607 (Sale Order: 602 of 698)
Condition: The barrel has a dark plum patina, with most of the blue finish remaining on the floorplate and trigger guard, and some remaining on the barrel bands. The case hardened and oil quenched receiver has a dark, mottled appearance. The stock has some slight nicks and dings, but is in very good condition. The leather sling has some very light wear and is in very good condition. The bore is in very good condition.

Condition: All metal parts to the rifle retain nearly all of their original finish, and are in excellent condition. The scope has one or two scuff marks, but has excellent optics and is in excellent condition. The stock has one or two dings, but has crisp markings and is in very good to excellent overall condition. The bore is excellent. This is a very mint example of a Springfield sniper rifle.

Condition: The barrel retains most of its original blue finish, with some very light scuff marks. The magazine tube has normal wear to the finish from use. The frame also retains most of its original blue finish, with some light fading to the edges. The buttstock may be a later military replacement based on its color. The forearm is original and in excellent condition. The bore is excellent.

Condition: As noted, the rifle barrel has been re-sleeved. The barrel has most of its original blue finish remaining, with some minor areas of fading, notably on the right side near the breech. The frame, locks, hammers, barrel lever and upper tang all have a flat gunmetal patina, with traces of case coloring visible throughout. The stock and forearm are in very good condition. The bores and mechanics are excellent.

General Harley Bascom Ferguson Medals and Insignia Group, Including Order of the Dragon, and More
Lot # 624 (Sale Order: 619 of 698)
Harley Bascom Ferguson (1875 - 1939) graduated from West Point in 1897. He served as an engineer during the Spanish American War in Cuba and the Philippines. During the Boxer Rebellion, he was the Chief Engineer of the China Relief Expedition and promoted to Captain for gallantry. In 1910 he designed the dam system used to raise the battleship USS Maine in Havana harbor. During WWI he was the commanding Colonel of the 105th Engineer, 30th Div. and later Engineer of the II Corps and 2nd Army, for which he was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal. In Oct., 1918 he was promoted to Brigadier General. Most of his post-war duties involved navigation and flood control along the Mississippi River.
Condition: Good. All medals complete with ribbons that have light to no wear. Ribbon bars show more wear. A few rank insignia lack attachment pins.

.38 special mid range caliber, 5" barrel length, S/N RJE1501, left side of the frame marked "Model 52" in gold. Right side of frame has gold Smith & Wesson medallion. Tight floral scroll engraving on the slide action, frame and trigger guard. Signed by P. Piquette, engraver, on the right side frame. The frame is outlined in gold bands. Blue finish with fancy walnut grips.
This matching case set comes with a letter from Smith & Wesson Master Engraver, Paul R. Piquette, acknowledging that this work is one of a kind and never to be reproduced. This set was displayed at many trades shows such the Shot Show and the NRA show. Comes in a beautiful Smith & Wesson custom case with logo on top and burgundy liner.
Condition: This matching cased set is in excellent condition retaining all finish with sharp and crisp edges, markings and engraving. Grips are excellent retaining all the finish. Case is excellent. Bores are excellent. Mechanically excellent.

Condition: The silver-plated finish on the barrel, ejector, frame and cylinder all remain with a slight tarnish. All the gold remains with a tarnish and a little wear to the edges and trigger guard. The grips are excellent. The bore is very good. Mechanically very good. Case is good with a few scratches to the lid.
