*Colt Texas Sesquicentennial Factory Engraved Peacemaker Revolver 

Lot # 632 (Sale Order: 626 of 698)      

.45 caliber, 4" round barrel length, S/N TX0815. Double-line Colt Hartford address on top of the barrel.  Left side of the frame marked in three lines with patent dates.  The barrel and cylinder are double gold banded.  The barrel, frame, cylinder, trigger, hammer, back strap and trigger guard all have a scroll engraving blending with some Western-style engravings.  Blue barrel, cylinder, back strap and trigger guard.  Case color frame and hammer.  Ivory grips.  Comes with commemorative walnut case with burgundy lining.  Top of case marked "1836 Texas Sesquicentennial 1986." 

Condition: This is in like-new condition retaining all the blue finish and gold bands.  Vibrant case colors mixing beautifully with the engraving.  Grips are excellent with a little yellow aging.  Bore is excellent.  Mechanically excellent.  Case is excellent.

*Colt Centennial Peacemaker and Frontier Six Shooter Revolvers 

Lot # 633 (Sale Order: 627 of 698)      

Lot of two Colt single action revolvers, housed in a glass and wood display.

The first pistol is .45 Colt caliber, 7.5" barrel, S/N MPC145. The left side of the barrel is marked 1873 Peacemaker Centennial 1973. The left of the frame is marked U.S., and the walnut grips are marked with a reproduction inspector's cartouche. Blue finished barrel, cylinder, backstrap and trigger guard. The frame and hammer are case hardened. The display features a plaque that reads "Peacemaker" / Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 45 cal. Single Action Army Revolver which came to be known as the "Peacemaker". 

The second pistol is .44 centerfire caliber, 7.5" barrel, S/N 145MPC. The left side of the barrel features the classic etched Colt Frontier Six Shooter, with the right side marked 1873 Peacemaker Centennial 1973. The caliber is marked on the left of the trigger guard. With checkered hard rubber grips with the American eagle motif and rampant Colt logo. Nickel plated throughout. The display features a plaque that reads Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 44-40 cal. Single Action Army Revolver which came to be known as Colt's "Frontier Six Shooter".   

Condition: Excellent, unfired condition to both revolvers.

*Factory Engraved Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 Revolver

.44 magnum caliber, 8.5" barrel length, S/N 49650. "Smith & Wesson" marked on the left side of the barrel. Right side marked ".44 Magnum."  Left side of the frame marked with Smith & Wesson logo.  Right side of framed marked in three lines with Smith & Wesson address.  Engraved on the barrel, frame, cylinder and trigger guard.  Nickel finish with fancy varnished walnut grips.  Grips do have a Smith & Wesson medallion logo at the top of each side.  Comes with custom walnut case with blue lining. 

Condition: This Smith & Wesson is in like-new condition retaining all the nickel finish with little to no wear.  The markings and engraving are very sharp and crisp.  The grips are very good plus with a chip to the lower left corner on the left grip. The bore is excellent.  Mechanically excellent.

*A. Brigante Engraved Browning Renaissance Medalist Target Pistol, Numbered Four of Sixty 

Lot # 635 (Sale Order: 629 of 698)      

.22 LR caliber, 6.75" barrel, S/N 655PT00004. The left side of the barrel is marked Browning Arms Company / Caliber .22 Long Rifle. The right side is marked Made in Belgium / By Fabrique Nationale Herstal. The underside of the barrel features an engraved F with a star over it. This is over an engraved underlined y, which is over an engraved Belgian proof mark. The rear of the left side of the frame, beneath the slide, is marked A. Brigante. The barrel, slide, frame and trigger guard feature deeply engraved intricate scroll and vine patterns. The trigger guard is engraved 4/60. The two-piece fancy grain grip features a right hand thumb rest, along with checkering and vine and dot relief carvings. The tapered fore end features the same carvings. Includes Browning magazine. The pistol is housed in a custom fitted leather and canvas case.

Condition: Excellent condition throughout.

*Colt Factory Engraved Challenger and Woodsman Target Pistols

Lot includes a factory engraved Colt Challenger (.22 LR caliber, 4.5" barrel, S/N 26136-D) and a Woodsman (.22 LR caliber, 6.625" barrel, S/N 117719). The pistols come in a fitted wooden case. Both pistols feature deep relief factory engravings of scroll and vine patterns throughout, with gilt bordering. Each finished blue, with faux scrimshawed eagle grips.

*Ray Viramontez Custom Engraved Colt 1911, Featured on the December 1974 Cover of Guns Magazine 

Lot # 645 (Sale Order: 639 of 698)      

.45 Colt auto caliber, 5" barrel, S/N 176274. The left of the slide is marked Colt's PT F.A. MFG. CO. Hartford. CT. U.S.A. and patent dates. The right side is marked Colt Automatic Calibre 45 and features the rampant colt logo. The sides of the slide and frame feature beautifully detailed scroll and vine engravings, encompassing all markings. With wooden grips with engraved screws and rampant colt logo. 

The interior of the cover states Ray Viramontez both engraved and photographed the Government Model .45 on the cover. Ron English is the lucky owner. The cover clearly shows the serial number on the pistol, which matches this one. The magazine is included with the pistol. 

Condition: The nickel plating is present throughout the entirety of the pistol. This is an excellent example of a beautifully engraved Colt 1911.

*Colt New Frontier Single Action Army Revolver 

Lot # 656 (Sale Order: 650 of 698)      

.45 caliber, 4.75" barrel length, S/N 13138NF. Single-line Colt Hartford address on top of the barrel.  Left side of the barrel marked "Colt New Frontier S.A.A. .45."  Left side of the frame marked in two lines with patent dates next to rampant Colt logo.  Blue finish on the barrel, ejector, cylinder, back strap, trigger guard and trigger.  Case color frame with walnut grips.  Grips have a gold medallion rampant Colt logo at the top of each side. 

Condition: This gun is in like new condition retaining all the finish on the barrel and ejector with little to no wear.  The cylinder shows all blue as well as the back strap and trigger guard.  The case color on the frame is vibrant.  The grips are excellent.  The bore is excellent.  Mechanically excellent.  Comes in original styrofoam box.
