*Browning Acid Etched Hi-Power Semi Automatic Pistol 

Lot # 657 (Sale Order: 651 of 698)      

9 mm caliber, 4.75" barrel length, S/N 245PZ84152. Left side of the slide action marked "Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q." Right side of the slide action marked "Made in Belgium" over "By Fabrique Nationale Herstal."  Acid-etched floral engraving on the slide action and frame.  Stainless finish throughout with gold-plated trigger.  Checkered walnut grips with Browning logo medallion on each side. 

Condition: This exquisite firearm is in like-new condition retaining all the finish with minimal wear.  The acid etchings and markings are very sharp and crisp.  The trigger retains most of the gold plating.  The grips are excellent.  The bore is bright and shiny.  Mechanically excellent.

**Colt Single Action Army Revolver 

Lot # 659 (Sale Order: 653 of 698)      

.45 caliber, 7.5" round barrel length, S/N 19763SA. Single-line Colt Hartford address on top of the barrel.  Left side of the barrel marked "Colt Single Action Army .45."  Left side of the frame marked in two lines with patent dates next to rampant Colt logo.  Blue barrel, ejector, cylinder, back strap and trigger guard.  The frame is case colored.  Black checkered grips with rampant Colt logo at the top of each side. 

Condition: This gun is in like-new condition retaining the blue finish on the barrel and ejector.  The back strap and trigger guard retain all the blue finish.  The cylinder shows very little wear from rotation.  The frame has vibrant case colors.  The hammer has a little speckling on the right and left sides.  The grips are excellent.  The bore is very good plus and can clean to better.  Mechanically excellent.

**Colt Bisley Model Revolver 

Lot # 661 (Sale Order: 655 of 698)      

.38 W.C.F. caliber, 4.75" barrel length, S/N 304819 (all visible numbers are matching). Markings on left side of barrel "Bisley Model" next to caliber markings.  Two-line barrel address on top of the barrel.  Left side of frame is marked with patent dates and rampant Colt logo.  Blue finish on the barrel, ejector, cylinder, trigger, trigger guard and backstrap.  Case color frame and hammer.  Black rubber checkered grips with rampant Colt logo on the top of each side. 

Condition: The barrel and ejector retain some of the blue finish with wear showing areas of gray metal along each side.  The cylinder retains some of the blue showing wear from the cylinder rotating.  The trigger retains most of the blue and the trigger guard and back strap retain some of the blue blending to a patina.  The frame and hammer retain some of the case coloring.  The grips are good but do show wear.  Mechanically good. Bore is very good.

**Colt Single Action Army Revolver 

Lot # 662 (Sale Order: 656 of 698)      

.44-40 caliber, 7.5" round barrel length, S/N 227073. Single-line Colt Hartford address on top of the barrel.  Left side of the barrel marked "Colt Frontier Six Shooter."  Left side of frame marked in two lines with patent dates next to rampant Colt logo.  Blue finish on the barrel, ejector, cylinder, back strap and trigger guard.  Case color frame and hammer. Carved steer head pearl grips.  Comes with a factory letter.  This was one of 10 guns shipped on June 3, 1902, to M. Hartley Company in New York City. 

Condition: This barrel and ejector retain most of the original blue finish with slight wear to the muzzle and ejector that is consistent with holstering. The cylinder is very sharp with wear to the edges and from cylinder rotation.  The frame and hammer retain a strong amount of case color that is beginning to blend to a patina.  The grips are good but do show some wear with a chip to the top right corner and the lower left corner on the right side of the grip.  The left side of the grip shows a repair to the top left corner.  The bore is excellent. Mechanically excellent.

.44/40 caliber, 7.5" round barrel length, S/N 231426 (ca. 1902). Single-line Colt Hartford address on top of the barrel.  Left side of the barrel marked "Colt Frontier Six Shooter."  Left side of frame marked in two lines with patent dates next to rampant Colt logo.  Six-shot fluted cylinder.  Blue barrel, cylinder, trigger and trigger guard with case color frame.  Mother-of-pearl grips with carved steer head and ruby eyes.  Comes with factory letter.  Letter states this was one of two guns in the shipment to George Tritch Hardware Co. in Denver, Colorado. 

Condition: Retains most of the blue finish with some wear consistent with use on the barrel and cylinder.  The frame retains most of the case coloring blending to patina.  The grips are very good.  The bore is very good.  Mechanically very good.

.38 Detective Special caliber, 2" barrel length, S/N 390484. Left side of barrel marked "38 Detective Special" and right side has two-line barrel address.  Left side of frame has rampant Colt logo.  Bottom of the backstrap marked "Dbn. PD. No. 18."  Nickel finish with pearl grips. 

Condition: Retains most of the nickel finish throughout the revolver.  The pearl grips are good with some wear and a chip at the corners on each side.  Mechanically very good and the bore is excellent.

.45 caliber, 4.75" barrel, S/N 200466. With matching numbers throughout. Barrel marked with two-line barrel address, and the caliber on the left side. The frame is marked with the two-line patent markings and the rampant Colt logo.  With checkered hard rubber grips. 

Condition: The finish is mostly in a flat gunmetal patina with plum flecks throughout. Some case colors remain on the hammer.  The bore is good and will clean to better. The hammer only stays at half cock.

.45 caliber, 4.75" barrel, S/N 197554. Barrel marked with two-line Hartford address, and the caliber on the left side. The left side of the frame is marked with patent dates and rampant Colt logo. With checkered hard rubber grips with the initials AH inscribed on the underside.

Condition: The majority of the finish is a flat, gunmetal patina. The underside of the barrel has several small dings to the metal. Some of the case coloring is lightly visible in some small areas of the trigger guard. The bore and mechanics are excellent.

Blue finish on the barrel, ejector, cylinder, trigger and back strap.  Case color frame with nickel trigger guard.  Walnut grips with Texas Ranger star medallion on the left side of the grip and a lone star medallion at the top of the back strap.  Comes in glass top display case with red lining. 

Condition: Like-new condition retaining all the finish with bright and vibrant case color.  The grips are excellent.  All markings are sharp and crisp.  The bore is excellent.  Mechanically excellent.  The case is beautifully crafted with minor wear.

**Husqvarna 98 Action Bolt Action Rifle Belonging To The Late Sid Caesar 

Lot # 670 (Sale Order: 664 of 698)      

.220 Swift caliber, 24" barrel, S/N 141951. The rifle features a deluxe checkered stock with a jeweled bolt and Leupold scope. The stock features a silver plate with the initials S.C., which stands for Sid Caesar. Star of stage and screen, his movies such as Grease and It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World and his hit TV show Your Show of Shows in the golden age of television have made him a lasting legend. 

Condition: Very good overall condition with a very good bore. The metal has most of its original blue finish. Stock and metal show slight field use. scope has a couple of small scratches at the rear.

*Browning Exhibition Over Under Shotgun With Briley Ultralite Tubes 

Lot # 671 (Sale Order: 665 of 698)      

12 gauge, 28" barrels, S/N 16129. The left side of the barrel is marked in cursive, Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q. / Made in Belgium. The right side is marked in cursive, 12 Ga Shells 2 3/4" Browning Patents / Special Steel. The frame features small intricately engraved scrolls throughout, with dot engravings in the border and the serial number engraved on the lower tang. The exhibition grade pistol grip stock features fine checkering on the pistol grip and the forearm. The hard rubber buttpad has a soft rubber insert. The shotgun is housed in a stainless steel Briley case, with an upper compartment that holds six Briley Ultralite tubes (for Browning), which includes a top and bottom barrel in 20 gauge, 28 gauge and .410 gauge. The original invoice for the set, dated 12-14-94, is included, and has all the tube dimensions listed. The set includes two sets of screw-in choke tubes, a mallet and a bore tool. 

Condition: Very good to excellent overall condition. The Briley tubes appear to be unused.

12 gauge, 28" barrels, S/N 434857. The barrel is marked GSI Inc T'ville AL / Gebr. Merkel Suhl / Made In Germany. The underside of the barrel is marked with the caliber, chamber and German proof marks. The case hardened frame has vine engravings with engraved screws. The underside features a Suhl marking. The fancy grain pistol grip stock and forearm feature deluxe checkering and a plastic gripcap and buttplate. The shotgun is in its original box that includes waxpaper, the operator's manual and a factory certificate.

*SKB Arms Model 585 Three Barrel Over Under Shotgun 

Lot # 673 (Sale Order: 667 of 698)      

,410, 28 and 20 gauge, three 28" barrels, S/N NS 90612. Each barrel is marked with the gauge in gilt at the breech. Barrel markings also include model, gauge, chamber and Made By New SKB Arms Company Japan. Each barrel has its own fancy grain walnut forearm with deluxe checkering and floral engravings. The frame features beautifully engraved scroll and floral patterns throughout. The frame also features relief engraved roses on both sides, the underside and the trigger guard. The roses appear to have several different colors of gold. The fancy grain walnut pistol grip stock features checkering and a gripcap and soft rubber SKB buttpad. The shotgun and barrels are housed in a fitted metal case that includes several tools. 

Condition: The wood has one small singe on the left of the wrist, but all else is in excellent overall condition.

*Browning Centennial Double Rifle & Over/Under Shotgun Combo Set, Engraved by Vandersmisseng

.30-06 caliber/20 gauge, 24"/26 3/8" barrels, S/N 1878C-223. The rifle barrel has a folding leaf sight and a raised blade front sight, with Browning company name, address and caliber markings, and Made in Belgium. The shotgun barrel has a bead front sight, with the same markings. The frame features a gold engraved buck on the left side, with a gold engraved quail on the right. Both creatures are surrounded by a vine border, with scroll pattern engravings. The underside of the frame features an engraved portrait of Jonathan Browning, with 1878-1978 in a scroll. The left side of the frame is signed VANDERSMISSENG. The stock features fancy grade walnut with deluxe engraving, and a hard rubber Browning buttplate. Both barrels have their own forearm of fancy grain walnut with deluxe checkering. Everything is housed in a fitted wooden case. 

Condition: The left side of the butt has an approximately 2 inch horizontal crack, otherwise all else is in excellent overall condition.

The frame features deep relief scroll engravings throughout. The left side of the frame features detailed engravings of mule deer, and is marked One of Six Hundred in a scroll and signed E. Vos. There is also a gold inlaid engraved mule deer. The top of the rounded frame is engraved Mule Deer on the left side. The right side features engraved white tail deer, and is marked 064 of Six Hundred in a scroll and signed J. Dujardin. There is also a gold inlaid engraved white tail. The top of the rounded frame is engraved White Tail Deer. The pistol grip stock and forearm feature deluxe checkered fancy grain walnut with relief carved vine and dot patterns. The rifle is housed in a fitted wooden case and included its original instruction booklet. 

Condition: Excellent condition throughout.

*L.C. Smith Specialty Grade Hunter One Trigger Side by Side Shotgun 

Lot # 677 (Sale Order: 671 of 698)      

12 gauge, 32" barrels, S/N RE94402. Blue finished barrel marked L.C. Smith Specialty Grade and Hunter Arms Co. Inc. M'F'R'S Fulton NY USA. The barrels are engraved at the breech, with the left barrel etched R.L. Mendenhall Trotwood, Ohio. The center rib features two bead sights. The shotgun features Hunter's one trigger mechanism. Each side of the frame features an engraved hunting scene with ducks and quail, surrounded by floral engravings and marked L.C. Smith. The fancy grain pistol grip stock and forearm are finely checkered, and include a gripcap and a Morgan adjustable soft rubber buttpad. 

Condition: Nearly all of the original blue finish remains on the barrels. The frame has an even gunmetal patina, with some traces of case coloring remaining in protected areas. The blue finish is present on the trigger guard, but worn in areas. The stock and forearm are in very good condition. The bores and mechanics are excellent.

Left side of the barrel marked "Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q." over "Made in Belgium."  Right side of barrel marked "Browning Superposed" over "Special Steel 12 GA. Shells_2 3/4" over "Browning Patents."  Frosted steel finish on the receiver, trigger guard and lower tang with tight scroll engravings. The right and left side of the receiver has two flushing doves.  Blue barrels with gold trigger.  Fancy walnut checkered pistol grip and forearm with black "Browning" marked butt plate.  Single bead rear sight.  LOP is 14.25".  Drop at the heel is 2.5".  Top barrel is modified. Bottom barrel is modified. 

Condition: Retains most of the blue finish with very little wear at the muzzle and where the forearm releases.  The steel finish is beautifully engraved and the markings are sharp and crisp.  Very little to no wear on the stock and forearm.  Bores are very good plus.  Mechanically excellent.

Shot Shells - 29 1/2".  Right side of barrel marked "Made in Italy."  Tightly scrolled engravings on the right, left and bottom of the steel receiver.  Left side of the receiver has two standing pheasants and one in flight.  The right side of the receiver has a standing woodcock and one in flight.  Signed by engraver Botega C. Giorlanelli. Blue finish on the barrels and trigger guard.  Gold trigger with black rubber recoil pad.  Walnut checkered pistol grip stock and forearm.   Butt stock has silver inlaid oval. Comes with original box.  LOP is 14.75". Drop at the heel is 2.25". Screw-in choke system. 

Condition: This shotgun is like new retaining most of the blue finish on the barrels and trigger guard. The markings and engravings are sharp and crisp.  The stock and forearm are in very good condition with little to no wear.  Bore is excellent.  Mechanically excellent.

12 gauge, 28" barrel, S/N 211BC0055. The barrel is marked with the Browning name, address, caliber and Made in Japan - Engraved in Belgium by FN Herstal. The frame features deep relief scroll engravings throughout. The left side features a deep relief engraved duck surrounded by scroll engraving, and a deep relief engraved scene of a hound chasing after a fallen duck, surrounded by scroll engraving. Below that is a scroll that is engraved One of Five Thousand. The right side of the frame features two deep relief engraved ducks, surrounded by scroll engravings, with a portrait of Jonathan Browning at the rear.The frame is signed, M. DiFranco. The pistol grip stock fetures deluxe checkering and a hard rubber Browning buttplate. The forearm features finger grooves and deluxe checkering as well. 

Condition: Excellent condition throughout.

*Claudia Perfido Engraved Browning Grade IV Slide Action Rifle 

Lot # 681 (Sale Order: 675 of 698)      

.22 S, L or LR caliber, 22" barrel, S/N 166CS01451. Barrel with Browning name and address, and marked Made in Belgium. The stainless frame features gold inlaid hunting dog and quail on the left side, with a gold inlaid hunting dog and ducks on the right side. Both sides of gold inlay are surrounded by beautifully detailed scroll engravings. The engraver's name, C. Perfido and initials are stamped on the underside of the frame. The underside also bears a proof mark, as does the breechblock. The trigger guard is stamped with a Browning buck proof, and is marked G IV. With a fancy grain checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forearm, with a steel buttplate. 

Condition: Excellent overall condition throughout.
