Stanley Mouse Fall 1989: The Long Island Sound original album artwork oil painting w/unopened 6 CD set In 2013 the family of Jerry Garcia produced a 6-CD boxed set of two previously unreleased Jerry Garcia Band complete performances from September of 1989, including 9/5/89 at the Hartford Civic Center and 9/6/89 at the Nassau Coliseum. Bob Weir and Rob Wasserman opened for JGB on this tour and these recordings were included as well. Stanley Mouse was commissioned to do the cover art for this project and we are pleased to offer the original oil painting directly from Mouse Studios in Sebastopol, CA. Dimensions: 24" L x 29 7/8" H. Boss Man Blotter in very cool deep black frame signed by Stanley Mouse This is the personal property of Stanley Mouse displayed in his studio in Sebastopol, CA. The blotter art edition of this print was limited to only 100 signed pieces and this is the one Mouse kept to display. Stanley says that: "Wes Wilson used an image by Jose Guadalupe Posada, a Mexican illustrator, on an Avalon Ballroom poster he did in 1966. I always liked this Posada image and the handbill hung over my potbellied stove. The same handbill still hangs in my studio all covered in soot. After looking at Wes Wilson's poster for many years I finally painted my own version of Posada's illustration". Dimensions: 15" L x 15" H. Estimate: $2,000
