Day 2 features a diverse array of collectibles, sure to excite enthusiasts and collectors alike. Highlights include a wide selection of Coin-Operated Machines, from classic slot machines to vintage vending units. For music lovers, we have a variety of Musical Instruments, including carousel components and music boxes. The auction also offers unique Advertising pieces, such as vintage dispensers and gas pumps, and a small selection of motorcycles. Over the years, he started to make the car perfect. It was originally in good condition but he wanted it better. Most of the little imperfections were fixed or replaced. About 20 years ago, the owner sold his business, so at that time he decided to go all out and took the car to a professional Corvette restoration shop for a complete frame off restoration. The motor is a 327 C.I., 340 h.p., professionally rebuilt, which is a correct date motor, not the original. They installed the knock-off wheel kits (which are after market). The brakes were completely replaced, lines and all. Some new chrome parts, some re-chromed. New convertible top and rear window. Top frame was rebuilt and works perfectly. A lot of small parts and weather strip were replaced. Doors open and shut as they should with nice even gaps. The vehicle has been driven only 5,300 miles since restoration but never in the snow or rain. The vehicle runs, drives and handles very well. Hide-away headlights work perfectly. Now, the car is a wonderful classic, highly collectable, but there is a slight negative. The finish on the vehicle is a bright, beautiful original color red. From the doors back is close to being perfect. The hood is the same, but when you look close, the front fenders and front header panel has some small blister imperfections. Not totally covered but a little more than here and there. The owner was ready to have this fixed when private circumstances are making it more favorable to sell the car, and let some lucky, lucky person enjoy this classic. Vehicle selling as is.
