This compact knife was designed to be a lightweight and high performance tool. It quickly slices through heavy fibrous materials and deeply penetrates hard and soft substances without drifting off course. Blade length is 4 3/4" and overall length is 9". The WK II Belt Knife weighs 6 ounces and the ambidextrous kydex lined sheath can be worn vertically or horizontally with minor adjustments. Finished with black Micarta Handles with Caswell No-Glare Finish. Embossed with a subdued Extortion 17 logo, it is truly a one of a kind knife.Daniel Winkler is an American award-winning custom knifemaker based in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Winkler has been making knives since 1977 and is a certified Mastersmith with the American Bladesmith Society and designed and built the knives and tomahawks for the 1992 motion picture: The Last of the Mohicans. Winkler was primarily known for his Native-American or pioneer-style influenced designs until 2012. In that year Winkler became involved with military and tactical knives and tomahwks. Winkler designed the Sayoc-Winkler "R&D Hawk" in conjunction with Sayoc Tactical Group Tomahawk Instructor Rafael Kayanan as a tomahawk for modern military applications.

In an innovative business deal with the Army Materiel Command, Remington Defense was allowed to purchase the spare parts it removes during the conversion of an M24 Sniper Rifle to an XM2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle. These parts, preserved in their original and serviceable condition, are then combined with a new M24 barreled action to create a unique historical firearm that meets all the accuracy requirements of the original military specification. There will be less than 2,000 of these systems produced - and normally only dedicated snipers or active-duty military personell can purchase them. The M24 System includes the rifle, Leupold Mk 4 LR/T M3 10×40mm scope, H-S Precision PST-011 stock, case and most of the original accessories. New items include: receiver, barrel, and trigger assembly. The original hand-painted camouflage paint scheme from the Army user is retained on each rifle. The rifles retail for $4500 and are capable of sub-minute of angle accuracy!
