At the next stop light, turn right onto Harpers Rd, go 100 fet and then turn left into the Harpers Road Commerce Park - the auction house is located on the back left.

British Georgian Period "William Perry" .50 Caliber Pistol- no FFL needed

This Georgian Style English flintlock pistol may have once been one of a pair. It has a turn-off barrel that resembles a cannon. Its walnut stock has a silver butt-cap and inlaid silver wire, with the butt-cap featuring a grotesque mask. The pistol has a sliding trigger guard safety. "W. PERRY" and "London" are engraved on the sideplates along with detailed engravings of martial nature. Early "Crown GR" proof marks, and a "view mark" are on the 6" barrel. It is in overall very good condition except where some of the silver wire inlays are pulling free (easily repaired). Many of these pistols were used in the American Revolution, but this example came out of Germany in the closing days of WWII. It was brought back by a US soldier who took it from a group of weapons confiscated from the Regensburg Museum. Though there is no provenance except for the veteran's letters, it does add an intriguing aspect to the pistol.
