The Martini-Henry Gahendra was based on an 1869 Westley Richards patented design, this unique and extremely rare early breechloading Military Rifle 577/450 Martini-Henry calibre was produced under the direction of General Gahendra Rana in the 1880's to provide Ghurka regiments with what appeared to be the latest British Military Rifle. An ingenious design, it really surpassed the standard Martini in that its entire action was removable as one unit for ease of servicing or exchange. It is in fair to good condition (pitting) with a very good though dark bore.

This LARGE SIZE 1/5th scale cannon is 60" long, 28" wide, 21" tall with a 32" brass barrel with a 2" bore. It weighs roughly 90 lbs (expensive to ship), is about 40 years old. The consignor thought it might be a shooter, but we are selling it as a non-shooter. Very impressive example of a Revolutionary/Napoleonic/War of 1812 cannon.

This pre-1898 hex-barrel 1873 is in good condition showing wear and some rust flecking/light pitting with a good-very good bore. It has the dust cover, and has the initials of "DRJ" on the carrier. Looks like the lower tang was repaired, the lever catch is gone and the serial number is obliterated.
