Four Pages in 6 columns Single Sheet Folded. In Very Good Condition overall. Size 21.75" x 16". This issue begins with a letter from Julia G. Crofts of Halifax Describing the Countryside in Detail. Follow-up by a letter to Mr. Douglass from "Dimm Charlton", otherwise John Bull discussing the opinions of Mr. Still and his behavior towards him in settling a debt. An example from a rare Anti-Slavery Newspaper. Mr. Douglass was an abolitionist preacher, born a slave who fled North, becoming a national leader of the abolitionist movement in Massachusetts and New York. Estimate: $1000-$1500
